In his practice of dentistry Dr. Tarr combines his passion for science, for using his hands to craft things of beauty, and for helping people achieve their overall health goals.
The entire staff of Madrona Family Dental share Dr. Tarr's philosophy and his commitment to providing the best possible oral health care for our patients. We believe that delivering the highest level of service starts with taking the time to understand the individual needs and concerns of each patient. We strive to build long-lasting relationships that are founded on respect and trust. We derive great satisfaction from maintaining optimal oral health in each of our patients, one smile at a time.

Lora has been in the dental field since 2007. She started out as a dental assistant, which she loved, though ultimately it was her goal to become a dental hygienist. A native of Arizona, Alvaro came to Seattle in search of a different life and new experiences which started by taking part in a dental assisting program. Being from a small town and raised in a family restaurant, he has brought with him a sincere and generous sense of hospitality. Alvaro always knew he wanted to help people, and he has found the perfect way to do so by caring for our patients here at Madrona Family Dental. He has a knack for helping people feel comfortable and at ease, which he feels is the most important aspect of dentistry. A long-time foodie and lover of nature, Alvaro is not opposed to discussing where and what to eat in the city, as well as outdoor activities. He is also very interested in how our patients are doing outside of the dental chair.
