Anna joined the Loop Dental team as a Licensed Dental Assistant in 2018. She graduated from Herzing University in 2015 and is a member of the dental assistants association. Anna enjoys helping patients with treatment and providing great care. Outside of the office Anna enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She is a native of Maple Grove and enjoys exploring downtown Minneapolis with her friends.
Shelley is part of the wonderful dental assistant team at Loop Dental. She graduated from Des Moines Area Community College as a licensed dental assistant in 1982. She is extremely knowledgeable and her goal here at Loop Dental is to provide her patients a fun and comfortable experience as well as helping them maintain a healthy smile. Shelley is married, a mother of 3 and a grandmother to 4. She will tell anyone her grandchildren are her favorite people in the world and loves spending her free time with them doing art projects and playing outside.
Brooke is one of our dental hygienists at Loop. She grew up the oldest of 4 in Hutchinson, MN & graduated from Argosy University. Brooke takes pride in establishing a friendship with all her patients & takes an enthusiastic approach to oral health education. Outside of the office, Brooke has the esteemed privilege of holding the title only non-division I athlete in her family. She enjoys being an extremely supportive big sis, which has given her a plethora of sports knowledge. In addition, Brooke enjoys exploring new cities, trying new, exciting foods & spending time with friends
Nikki is a licensed dental assistant and has been working for Bates Dental Care since 1998. She takes great pride in her job and enjoys providing the best level of care and service to our wonderful patients. In addition to enjoying spending time with her second family at Bates Dental Care, she loves spending time with her husband Steve and their two boys. Nikki graduated from Century College and is a member of the American Dental Assistants Association.
Laura is an integral part of our front desk team at Loop Dental, serving as an insurance coordinator and patient scheduler. She was born and raised in South Lyon, Michigan where she worked for several years in a medical clinic. Laura works hard to ensure that all who walk through the doors at Loop Dental are greeted by a friendly smile and have a pleasant visit with us. Outside of the office, Laura enjoys traveling, exploring the national parks, and spending time with family back in Michigan.
Sarah serves as Treatment Coordinator at Loop Dental. Her past experience working as a dental assistant gives her the ability to confidently guide our patients through both the clinical side of their treatment plan as well as provide necessary information regarding insurance and financial planning. Sarah believes patient education is key in making their experience at Loop Dental a positive one. When Sarah is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her two young children and exploring all the great restaurants in the Twin Cities.

I hated/ was afraid of the dentist before going here like many people are. However, everyone was so nice from the receptionists who greeted me so kindly and were super helpful with setting up my next appointment. As well as my dental hygienist, Marlee who was really nice and walked me step by step through every process she was doing because she knew I was nervous. I genuinely had a great experience here and the ambiance of the office is great as well.

Cannot say enough good about this place. My first visit today and EVERYONE is awesome. Amanda was super kind and patient with me and Riley (sp?) is the BEST hygienist I have ever experienced. And I have had many! VERY thorough and knowledgeable. Dr. Yahiro was also very professional and kind. Thank you all!!

Went to loop for a little over a year and the first visits were really good; the space is clean and the office is updated, admins are knowledgeable and friendly. I liked my first doctor but got switched to a new doctor after the first couple visits. I had a couple crowns put on and They started bothering me. They told me the crowns were good even though I was having irritation and referred me to an endodontist to see if I needed a root canal, even though there weren't other signs I needed a root canal. I got a new dentist instead. Learned my crowns were both very high and it threw off my bite. I've had them shaved down 4x now to try to get them to stop hitting before all of my other teeth and am seeing a PT who specializes in jaw issues to try to get my mouth back to normal.

I had such a wonderful experience with Loop Dental! They addressed my dental issues and took my concerns very seriously. The staff was warm, friendly, and made the experience of going to the dentist after years of not going due to the pandemic an overall comfortable experience. Since going to Loop Dental, I have recommended them to my network and will continue for sure!

This place has made me feel better about dental visits. In the past, I've had terrible experiences getting fillings. Not only were they careful to make sure it was as painless as possible, they were really fast. The facility is really pretty and comforting. It's also an easy location for me to get to. Everyone I've come across so far is great and I'm glad I found a dental office like this.

I have to admit that I had a bit of a dental health pause as well as was somewhat timid when it comes to going to the dentist. After my initial Loop Dental appointment, I'm legit looking forward to my next appointment. The care is gentle with people who are extremely brilliant. Please, if there is any hesitation, let this review convince you to schedule an appointment. These people are amazing. I feel very cared for and that I was in an extremely comfortable environment. Also, I'm not ashamed to say that the puppies on the monitor in the dental room were awesome. Go here. Seriously go here.

Dr. Bates is the best you will find - he has transformed my dental experience. He explains everything he is doing before and as he performs it, and prioritizes patient comfort and optionality through the process. He'll never pressure you to get any work you don't need done. I found Loop Dental frantically calling practices in Minneapolis when a tooth shattered unexpectedly last summer....Dr.Bates was willing to fit me into the schedule on very short notice and made the process as easy as possible. Thank you!

Brooke and the entire staff at Loop Dental go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and informed about your dental health! The locations are ideal for anyone living in the North Loop! I wouldn't want to go anywhere else!
