I wish I could give 0 star. Be careful that you may end up paying much much more than what you expected. You may receive a shocking statement after your procedure. Billing department is terrible. People are disgusting. Be careful of Longwood Dental Group. Go somewhere else.

I would put 0 stars if that was possible but it's not. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST. Had a crown put on from here in the summer of 2019, broke April of 2022 and had to travel 4 hours to come back to Brookline to get it replaced and it just broke again 3 months later..... clearly so incapable of their jobs, when the second crown was being placed I mentioned it didn't feel great and the dentist said it would just take a minute to get used to it but here we are 3 months later and it's broken again. I'm so incredibly tired of being told it's my fault, as the dentist told me it was because I grind my teeth (which I don't do when I'm awake), so I started wearing a mouth guard when l sleep and still the crown broke. Not only has this caused me immense amount of pain, but I am beyond frustrated with the lack of care this group has for its patients and the lack of skill the dentists have here. Once is an honest mistake, but having this happen again only 3 months later is completely unacceptable to me.

Would not recommend. I've been coming to this office for years - and I recently have received damaging and costly work. Billing is disorganized. It's a shame - but would recommend going elsewhere

My bad experiences with LDG primarily stem from my interactions with their billing department. It's good to know from some of the other posted reviews that other patients at LDG have also experienced similar things to myself. My wife (who had never previously seen ANY dentist before in the US) was billed for an x-ray during a regular cleaning service. We have dental insurance so this sort of preventative service shouldn't have been billed to us, but alas, it was. This happened in August 2021, and ever since then, I was ping-ponged between LDG and my dental insurance, with LDG continuing to send me bills trying to charge me. It was only recently that Sabrina (many thanks!) finally removed the charge and resolved the issue. However, taking 6 months to resolve this issue, which shouldn't have even been an issue (and even if it was, it should not have involved me, but should have been between LDG and my dental insurance) has left a bitter taste in my mouth about LDG as a whole. I can't say that I'd recommend LDG to anyone who is looking to have anything more complex than a regular cleaning done. If you do decide to go with LDG, ALWAYS make sure you get a pre-estimation of the service to be done. This will give you a clear heads-up of anything that might be coming your way.

Had to wait over 45 mins and shady billing practices. I asked two times to confirm they accepted my dental insurance. After the two visits they told me the dentist only accepts my insurance at the office next door, but not at this office. Wife had same work done in the same month at a different dentist, she paid a fraction of what I ended up paying. Would not recommend this place.

Horrible customer service canceled because of covid and they charged me. They told me to still come in because everyone there is vaccinated even though I am vaccinated and boosted and still got it. Putting all their patients at risk. Unprofessional and rude. Do not suggest what so ever.

I am SO very pleased with Longwood Dental Group. I had my first appointment this morning and expressed that I have dental anxiety. The admin assistants, the hygenist, the dentist, they all went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I got my teeth cleaned and x-rays, and they noticed a cavity. The admin assistants in the front showed me the cost up front, so there are no surprises for the cost next week, and told me how much of my dental insurance would cover. They even gave me a welcome goody bag!!!! I am SO very happy to have found them and will recommend them to all my friends. -Kara VanGuilder

I always have a pleasant experience at Longwood Dental. The staff (admin, dentists, rdh, etc.,) are all so nice and accommodating. I definitely would recommend them!

It started off to be a very pleasant experience and was a super convenient location for me. Then they started pushing for a procedure. I did not want to get it done so they refused to clean my teeth. The hygenist said she will lose her license if I don't get the procedue done. 5 years have gone by and my current practice still does not think I need any procedure done. My conclusion is they were just trying to push for big ticket items and went too far to lose a patient.

Mariele Taverna is, in my view, a superb dental hygienist. She is highly skilled, strong, gentle, fully attentive to her patients' needs and observations, and takes excellent care of my senior teeth. Plus, Marielle is an exceedingly nice person with a fine sense of humor.

Chrissy has been helping me keep my teeth clean and gums healthy for over 10 years. Right before my last cleaning appointment I chipped a crown on one of my molars. I worried that I would have to have the crown replaced. But Dr. B said it was a small chip, so he smoothed the edges and I was spared the inconvenience and expense of a new crown! The office also does a great job keeping everyone safe from COVID.

My teeth are sensitive due to years of rough brushing. I dread cleanings because inadvertently a sensitive spot is found. My experience at Longwood Dental with Alla ( please forgive me if I spelled it wrong) was exceptional. She did a great job cleaning my teeth without making me uncomfortable. Dr. Boschetti did a wonderful job restoring my teeth painlessly. I am pleased with the outcome and feel healthier. It is wonderful to have such a great team.

Great place! Amazing staff!! I'm not a fan of going to the dentist but this team is truly wonderful. I had to get my last wisdom tooth extracted and I was extremely nervous. But Dr. Perry made sure the procedure went smoothly and painlessly. It took less than 10 minutes for the whole appointment and I got to save my tooth! Now I look forward to my visits to the dentist, even if it's just for a cleaning.

Olga always puts great care to be mindful of pain sensitivity I have in my teeth/gums when doing cleanings. Front desk staff are also very kind and welcoming. Highly recommend.
