Dr. Longo was born and raised in Bellevue, NE. He graduated from Creighton Prep, and Creighton University with a B.S. in Biology in 1974 and Creighton School of Dentistry in 1978. He specialized in both Pediatric dentistry (1980) and Orthodontics (1982) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he earned dual certificates and a Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology from Marquette University. In 2007, he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Longo has committed a lifetime of service to the profession. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Creighton University School of Dentistry in Pedodontic and Orthodontics since 1984 and was recognized with a service award for 25 years of teaching at Creighton University. He was awarded best table clinic by the WDA during residency and is a member of OKU Dental Honors Fraternity.
Dr. Longo is married to Ann (Zukaitis) Longo and has 3 children: Meghann who joined Longo Orthodontics in 2011, Patrick, a dentist in Milwaukee, WI and Elizabeth, who practices law in Milwaukee. Dr. Longo has been a member of Christ the King Parish since 1984 where he is a lector and distributes Holy Communion to the sick and shut-ins. In his free time, you will see him running and swimming.
Dr. Meghann was born and raised in Omaha, NE. She graduated Marian High School, St. Louis University Magna Cum Laude, and the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry with High Honors. She achieved her Masters of Science degree in Oral Biology and Orthodontic Specialty Certificate (2008) from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She worked as an orthodontist for 3 years in Wisconsin before joining Longo Orthodontics in 2011.
Meghann is a member of Saint Vincent DePaul parish and is active in the American Dental Association (ADA), Nebraska Dental Association (NDA), American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Midwestern Society of Orthodontists (MSO), NSO, and the Omaha Study Club.

This office is just full of positive energy. The people are super kind and open- hearted. My family and I live almost 3 hours away and they created a flexible schedule with us, we are so thankful for them! Literally saved my life! My new teeth and I are very happy. I strongly encourage and suggest going to Dr. Longos Office if you are looking for an amazing experience that you will be super proud of.

Dr Longo and staff were awesome with both of my sons. They took extra steps to help my youngest who has a mental disability and who was born with a cleft palate. I highly recommend their services to anyone who has a child, especially a child with special needs. I didn't think I could make it through the process, but my son has a beautiful smile.

This was my second time having braces because my teeth needed a slight correction. Although I told the staff I had a set date to get my braces off and reminded them almost every time I had an appointment, Dr. Longo acted surprised and said my teeth weren't ready when the removal date came. Additionally, no matter how many times his staff corrected him, Dr. Longo used male pronouns for me, just because I have short hair and was in a uniform. I don't typically mind because I understand the short hair is confusing for a lot of people, but blatantly ignoring your staff when they correct you isn't ignorance, it's a choice. To end this rant he doesn't care about your comfort either. I asked him to stop 'sanding' at one point because I was in pain and he told me that it shouldn't be in pain and that I would be fine it's almost done. If you look at other reviews, you can see other instances of this same practice. On the note of his staff, they are the best thing to happen to this place and Dr. Longo has treated them with agreession nearly every time I visited. That being said, the reason I kept returning was because everyone I know in the area raves about his work. If you want a friendly experience, I highly recommend Dr. Dietz or Dr. Ellingson.

Tried to set up a consultation to possibly have metal braces and an assessment since my current dental providers Invisalign treatment isn't working like I like and they turned me away. I find it unprofessional and I'm glad I chose another orthodontist that actually wanted my business.

I had a great time with my braces. Everyone was nice and respectful and we never had any big issues. Every appointment was enjoyable. Usually busy, but still easy to schedule an appointment whenever. Definitely a good place for braces.

Dr. Longo is amazing! I went to him for 4 years and always did everything he could to make sure my experience was as comfortable as possible! And his staff are the all so nice!
