Initially opened by Dr. Brian Coats father, Brian Coats, DDS Longmont Cosmetic & Family Dentistry has been serving Longmont for over 25 years already. As an active member of the community, Dr. Coats is honored to have the opportunity to continue the long tradition of serving kind and high-quality dental services. His expertise ensures a wide variety of treatments can be offered all under one roof, whether you wish to enhance your smile or complete repairs to protect your long-term oral health.
As our office manager, Mary does a great job of helping patients get the dental treatment they need while also ensuring that all team members reach their true potential. She has a degree in Management and has been leading in the healthcare industry since 2004. Mary has been married since 2002 and has two children and two fur babies (a Poodle named Fonzie and an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix named Sammy). Outside of work, you can typically find her biking, paddle boarding, or spending quality time with family!
Janells dental career spans 25+ years. She loves all of the patients, coworkers, and overall environment here in Longmont! At home, she spends a lot of time with her mother and her grown son Austin. She also enjoys scrapbooking, doing yardwork, cooking, camping, visiting the lake, fishing, and dabbling in all sorts of crafts.

Dr. Brian Coats did an excellent job adding crowns to some of my damaged teeth and veneers to the others. He went above and beyond to ensure that everything matches. I can now I can smile with confidence! This is a fantastic multi generational family run business.

Dr. Kevin Coats has a fantastic, caring manner and personality. He takes his time to discuss his prognosis and treatment plan making a patient feel confident in his capability and attention. He is neither dismissive or rushed - as many busy dentists can be. Highly recommend.

Brian and Kevin are wonderful dentist's who make going to the dentist relaxing and stress free. Dr. Brian Coats has been my dentist since I was a kid and now his son Dr. Kevin Coats is doing a great and thorough job. They are kind, knowledgeable, patient and answer any question or concern you may have. I recommend Dr. Coats to anyone and everyone as they are the best and truly make the dentist office a nice place to go.

I went to Dr. Coats practice with an ongoing issue with a specific tooth. Dr. Coats, and the whole team, are friendly, kind, gentle, knowledgeable, understanding, professional, and just over all amazing. Other dentists seemed to rush through my exam, Dr. Coats took his time, and immediately knew exactly what was going on with my difficult tooth. Went in today and he fixed my tooth. It was a painless and stress free experience. Dr. Coats also likes to sing along with the radio, and he's got an impressive singing voice. Dr. Coats is very knowledgeable and has a fun sense of humor. The perfect combination for someone like me who really dislikes going to the dentist. His assistant Shelby is amazing and explained everything thoroughly before she did it. The front desk was patient and kind when scheduling and rescheduling my appointments. My insurance was changing at the beginning of the month, and they even took the time to research which insurance would give me the best coverage. I highly recommend this whole team for your dental care. You will be pleasantly surprised by a stress free visit.

Dr. Coast has been our dentist for the last few years. It has been great going there. I feel like his staff are very friendly and most importantly to me they are very transparent in their communication. I would recommend to anyone.

We have been regular clients of Dr. Coats for 20+ years from routine bi-annual teeth cleaning and check-ups, to necessary cosmetic dentistry. And now with the expanding practice, it is comforting to know we will be clients for 20+ more years! Dr. Coats also takes the time to "talk" to you. It's a family practice that provides for personal interaction and a pleasant experience.

I was in need of emergency dental work. This place was only place who even tried to fit me in today. They were so so so helpful and welling to help. The staff was friendly and so caring. DR. Brian was GREAT and explained everything and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I just want to say thanks again!! Outstanding
