  • Cleaning and Exams Regular oral exams and dental cleanings can help you maintain the health of your teeth and gums while catching potential problems before they get worse. Drs. Ellis and Rubino recommend at least two regular check-ups each year that include an oral exam and a teeth cleaning. Early detection of problem areas can often lead to much less invasive treatment options.

  • Digital X-Rays Dental X-rays are a useful diagnostic tool when helping Drs. Ellis and Rubino detect damage and disease not visible during a regular dental exam. Digital x-rays offer a faster and more convenient way to produce detailed images of your teeth. Radiation exposure is significantly reduced compared to traditional x-rays, and there are no environmentally harmful chemicals necessary to develop the images.

  • There are a number of reasons why you may need a tooth extracted. We'll walk you through the process of evaluating your mouth to see how it will be affected by the removal of the tooth, then perform the procedure and give you detailed instructions for post-operative care.
  • Retainers Retainers are true to their name: they help you retain the proper position for your teeth. They are particularly helpful for growing teens, to help guide their teeth into proper alignment as they (and their jaw) grow.

  • Root Canals Deeply damaged, decayed, or infected teeth need more than a routine cleaning. Root canals allow us to save your natural tooth, protecting the rest of your teeth from added strain from other more invasive procedures or treatment.

  • Sealants Dental sealants are thin, plastic coatings painted on the chewing surfaces of teeth. Dentists usually use sealants to prevent teeth decay on the back teeth (the premolars and molars). The sealant quickly bonds into the depressions and grooves of the teeth, forming a protective shield over the enamel of each tooth.

Our family loves Longmeadow Dental. They have taken care of our dental needs for years. My husband saw Beth (hygienist) and Dr. Ellis this week. I saw Robin (hygienist) and Dr. Ellis. They are gentle considerate and friendly! Look no further folks! This is Hagerstown's top notch professional dental facility! Dr. Ellis is also good with children. He saw my granddaughter while she sat on my lap in the dental chair and the hygienist also cleaned her teeth that way. Our grandson suffered from Lyme and as a result had some sensory disorder. Dr. Ellis personally cleaned his teeth, so that he could get a good look at his teeth at the same time. THEY ARE THE BEST! The Martin's

Do not hesitate if you need a superb dentist. Dr. Jeffrey Rubino is just that dentist: professional, skilled, and totally modern in his approach to dentistry. He takes the time to explain each procedure. He is interested in his patients overall health and is reassuring about any treatment one might need. An added bonus is his state-of-the-art office and an office staff that is both helpful and friendly. It is a pleasure to be in his practice.
