Dr. Hausman attended Cornell University and pursued his dental training at the State University of New York at Buffalo, receiving his degree in 1979. Upon graduation, he continued advanced studies at the University of Connecticut Health Centers Family Dentistry Residency Program for two additional years, serving as a chief resident during his second year.
Professional affiliations include the Valley District Dental Society, Massachusetts Dental Society, American Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. In 1990 Dr. Hausman was awarded Fellowship status in the Academy in recognition of his commitment to continuing education, a passion hecontinues to sustain.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hausman enjoys gardening, bicycling and fishing. He particularly enjoys fly fishing, and recently has been utilizing his fine motor skills as he explores the art and science of tying some of his own flies.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Hausman this past week. Jasmine the receptionist assisted me with my scheduling needs and assisted me with answering questions in regards to my insurance and coverage. From my cleaning to Dr. Hausman being able to fit me in after my cleaning to take care of my dental needs which were many stood out to me and I was very appreciative. Dr. Hausman from start to finish and his staff included were polite professional and they have a life long client with me going forward.

I just had my initial first patient appointment and was incredibly impressed form start to finish. The equipment in the office is incredibly updated and modern and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I am glad I found them for my family upon moving here. Looking forward to a good, long experience at this office! Clean, courteous and obviously caring.

I have been seeing Dr. Housman for almost 2 decades! He and his staff are wonderful. I have never had a bad visit. Whenever I have a concern or tooth issue I always know I'm in good hands.

Since arriving in Massachusetts 2 years ago, I've been blessed to have found Longmeadow Dental Care. Dr. Hausman has a compassionate approach, and he does everything he can to make you feel comfortable and safe. The staff are just as amazing. Ashley is such a phenomenal hygienist, I wait until I can make sure I get in with her. The ladies in the front are SO knowledgeable. Pam takes care of everything. Highly recommend this practice.

So far so good, very knowledgeable, professional and service was performed quite comfortably and quicker than expected. Office is also very clean and covid protocols are in place. Would highly recommend, especially for people whom have had a poor experience else where.

I went to Dr Housman for a consult to fix bad dentistry by another. Office is clean and staff is great. Doc is friendly and personable, unlike my previous one. He gave me 4 options to fix my issue, 2 less invasive and 2 more invasive, which has never been offered before. He gave his honest opinion and did not try to 'sell' me on the more expensive procedures. I will return to this dental practice for this fix and all my dental needs in the future.
