I am a native of Montana, born and raised in Great Falls. I attended the University of Montana in Missoula, where many family members still live today. I made my home in Minnesota back in 1981, and my two brothers and their families also call this area home. My lovely wife, Kate, has been working with me at Long Lake Dental for 20+ years, as the office manager and partner in all major office decisions. We have 3 grown children, our oldest son who lives in Chicago, our daughter who also lives in Deephaven with her husband and three kids, and our youngest daughter who lives in Minneapolis and is a graphic designer. I cannot think of another profession where I could be happier. I love the challenge of dentistry, both the routine and easy, and the difficult and thought-provoking. I thank my staff and colleagues for voting me three times into the Minnesota Monthly Magazine ranking for the Top Dentists in the area. I love helping people and am dedicated to doing my best

Graduate of Purdue University and Midwestern University Dental School, but originally from North Carolina. I've been living in Minnesota for 3 years now and am really enjoying getting to know the area and meeting new people. My wife Kayla and I love traveling, sports, boating, hanging with our dog Leo and most outdoor activities. We are also expecting our first child in November!
I enjoy treating children and adults of all ages and really appreciate all of the challenges dentistry has to offer. I am excited to now be an owner of Long Lake Dental and look forward to continuing the amazing reputation Long Lake Dental has in our community. I love all areas of dentistry, from implants and oral surgery to improving smiles with invisalign. I'm constantly trying to stay up to date on the latest techniques and equipment so our patients receive the best dental care. We are always welcoming new patients at Long Lake dental, meeting new people, and taking care of our current and existing patients is truly the best part of this job
I attend many continuing education classes to stay current on treatment options for our patients. I volunteer at Give Kids a Smile a program at Sharing and Caring Hands, I volunteer for the Golf Classic Fore Diabetes Research, and I also work on the Pay It Forward Fundraiser to help patients with their bills while going through breast cancer

I usually don't write reviews, but Do not go to long lake dental, Especially Dr. Leggett. Horrible experience As he messed up with a graft & implant that fell out a few days later but still received bills for years. I still paid but need to have the work redone. Front desk can also be rude.

Long Lake Dental is my Dentist of choice. They always have your best interests in mind when they plan your dental needs. I am Extremely pleased with the service I receive. I highly recommend them. Dr. Leggett and the staff there are awesome.

I've had a wonderfully positive experience here! The staff is so warm and helpful and both of the doctors are down-to-earth and kind. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for dental care!

I have been going to Long Lake Dental for some time now. Originally Diane cleaned my teeth but now it is Heather. They both have done a great job. Dr. Bowling has been doing the follow up check up after my teeth have been cleaned. I have always had a positive experience.

I have been going to this dentist my entire life. My parents received a referral from another family member. Great service, quick and easy appointments. Dr. Mcnaught refered my parents to an orthodontist for me to get braces as a child and an oral surgeon for wisdom teeth removal. 32 years later and I have never had a cavity. Very friendly and no matter where in MN I live, I will travel to long lake for dental cleanings, exams, and advice.

Dr. McNaught has been my family dentist for 20 years. He has taken outstanding care of me and my now grown children. He is very kind and caring - he always remembers me when I come in.. He whitened my teeth with fantastic results. Took time to do a few minor cosmetic procedures, replaced my silver fillings with white. He has good referrals for oral surgery (root canals) and has done a fantastic job with my crowns. Dr. McNaught is a great Dr. and I highly recommend him or anyone in his practice. Very friendly and caring.

I absolutely love Dr. McNaught. He's been my dentist since I was 7, and is so knowledgable and experienced! He is also very understanding and gentle. He's pretty much a member of our family, haha!
