Long Island Smile is great. I'm so glad I found them. I needed a sleep apnea appliance and I just love it. They made it to perfection. I went for years with nothing for my apnea because I couldn't tolerate a cpap machine. I sleep so much better now. If I have any questions or issues, they are there for me. The care and friendly greeting I get when I come in the office is phenomenal. I have to say this is the most caring, professional and accommodating dental office I've ever been.

Amazing experience with Dr. Seltzer and Christy his assistant. Had a crown and fillings . Totally painless ! Very professional with state of the art technology !!

The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is outstanding. I visited the office for sleep apnea. Gina is very knowledgeable with excellent chairside manners. Every visit is like visiting friends. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Dr. Rein replaced an old crown for me in an amazingly comfortable, quick and reassuring procedure. Best of all , he not only distracted me with his magnificent underwater reef photography. I not only came away with a perfect new bicuspid crown but I look forward to returning to Dr. Rein to see more of the Coral reef photography he entertains his patients with.

This review is long overdue. My experience at Long Island Smile was terrible and I am still dealing with the effects of poor dental work by Dr. Seltzer. Dr Seltzer's hygienists took x-rays back in early 2019 for a routine dental visit. At that time I was not told of any cavities. Literally Right before the new year, ( in hindsight I realize they wanted an insurance payment before my year end benefits were up) in December his office called me to make an appointment because I needed a filling. I was never told that I needed a filling prior to this phone call, but I was rushed to make an appt and come in. The year was almost up and they wanted to do everything to squeeze me into an appointment, and scheduled me for a late appointment around 8pm. Dr. Seltzer began to do two fillings on me at night and I was in excruciating pain for days after. When I contacted Dr Seltzer, he did not tell me to come in, but that the pain should subside. After 4 days of agonizing pain and taking pain killers around the clock, I had to go to another doctor who had to take the fillings out and put a temporary filling in to sooth my tooth from what was done. Something that should have been a routine filling has now turned into a root canal a year later and still dealing from pain from trusting this practice and trying to take their advice. Dr. Seltzer went too deep for the filling causing damage and I wish I had never stopped into this office. The unfortunate situation is that I never came to this office to see Dr Seltzer, it was for Dr. Rein. but for some reason that night they had Dr. Seltzer work on me, and it is my biggest regret to date. Please do your research, assess physician bedside manner and if it doesn't feel right, don't risk your health and wellbeing.

My dental follow up was long overdue. Came in as an emergency, got an appointment right away. The office is doing a great job with Covid preventions such as screening for symptoms, taking temperatures, social distancing in waiting area and air filtration machines all throughout the facility. The staff is always amazing from the dental assistants to the front desk. Dr Rein is always kind, gentle and informative. I'm looking forward to my upcoming appointment.

I've been a patient of Dr. Seltzer's for over 25 years. His passion and commitment to his profession is s gift that I wish other providers would emulate. For Dr. Seltzer, his goal is about the patient feeling good about the entire experience. He is relentless and the patient feels that Dr. Seltzer actually walks with them step-by-step until the end. The technology in his office is State of the Art and far exceeds those of his colleagues. From the moment you walk into the office, you feel at home. His entire staff is absolutely amazing. I don't think you could find a team of professionals who could even come to their standards . I would highly recommend this dental practice. The doctors also specialize in sleep apnea. My thanks to the entire team for their outstanding work. Joanne McLaughlin

Over 20 years with Dr Seltzer. He loves being a dentist and it shows. He cares and is dedicated to solve whatever issues you have. I have received phone calls on Sunday to make sure I am ok after a procedure. The staff all follow his example. If you have a dental issue, go to this practice.

I have always avoided the dentist. I'm super afraid. Unfortunately, my luck ran out. The other day I broke my tooth and I had no choice but to go this time. I asked around and found out both my parents and my sister's family all go to LI Smile. I called up and they saw me quickly! Dr. Seltzer and his staff took care to explain everything thoroughly and they we sensitive to my fears of dentistry. I have to say my experience with Dr Seltzer and LI Smile was a first for the me at a dentist office...I loved it. I could say that I even had fun while I was there! Everyone was friendly, his top notch assistant let me watch movies while they worked away on my tooth! They showed me the whole high tech process as they went through it... and I felt no pain! I never thought I would say "I had a great time at the dentist!" Makes going to the dentist a whole lot easier for a baby like me.

I have been so happy since having my oral appliance made at Long Island Smile. All of the staff are so kind, and caring. My oral appliance was made to treat my severe snoring, and mild sleep apnea. I was very reluctant to have one made, as I did not want to sleep with something in my mouth. After now wearing the appliance not only do I not care about having something in my mouth while I sleep, I just feel dramatically better. I used to wake up groggy in the morning, and with a bad headache every morning as well. Now I wake up feeling alert, and no headache. Most of all my partner now says my snoring is gone, that he doesn't hear it at all anymore. I highly recommend Long Island Smile, it's been life changing for me!

I have been a dental patient of Dr. Seltzer's for years and could not be happier with the level of professionalism, competence and care that I have received. He is terrific, as is the entire office staff. I would recommend Long Island Smile unconditionally and enthusiastically!
