My doctor and tech for my oral surgery were amazing! Absolutely loved them! The reason for a 2 star review, the staff. Horrible. Even with an wonderful doctor, the review still has to suffer. I had multiple ensured with the staff there that were unpleasant and just plain rude. First: my surgery was scheduled for noon. Little did I know my doctor wasn't expected in the office that day till 1 PM. If the scheduler at this office sees this, don't schedule a survey an hour before the doctor shows up and have your patient waiting on the waiting room over an hour. That is just inconsiderate. Second: I was told the day of my surgery, I remember this vividly, that I was told by the staff I was paying in full. I got a bill a month later. When I called to question that, and why I was being billed for the same line items twice, I received attitude from the staff as well as them belittling me for not understanding the bill. I'm sorry that I couldn't understand why I thought I was being billed for the same item twice when I had proof of being billed for the same item twice in my hands between the two bills I was comparing. I guess my Master's in Business Administration and my knowledge and experience of doing accounts receivable doesn't match up to dental billing. I'm being very sarcastic in those last two lines.

Woke up Friday at 8 am with excruciating wisdom tooth pain. I had a late flight to Spain the same day. I went in to the clinic and was seen 15 minutes after arriving. Dr. Glazer was absolutely phenomenal. He recommended removing the tooth and assured me I would be fine for my week trip to Spain. I experienced slight swelling and discomfort until Sunday and was back to normal by Monday morning. So grateful to Dr. Glazer for his great care! One thing I do recommend is that the office staff and dental assistants keep personal conversations to a minimum. As an office manager myself, it is very unprofessional to speak socially with one another when around patients/customers. Very young, inexperienced staff who need proper training on office etiquette. However, the treatment I received was great.

Had a 1:15pm appointment, didn't get called back until 2:40pm. Post op they can't get you out of the door fast enough. Very very little advice on recovery. Procedure itself went well, doctor was very professional and personable. They really need to do a better job with the recovery advice, tips, pointers etc.

I had to have 2 extractions and a cyst removed and I must say although I waited a bit in the waiting room everyone was AMAZING. From the front desk staff to the surgeon they were all very professional and explained everything as well as cost if insurance doesn't cover. I'm going back tomorrow for wisdom teeth removal and not nervous at all because I know I'm in good hands.

J. Ryan Glaser is a wonderful, compassionate oral surgeon. He has a great sense of humor, his staff is A number 1. Dr. Glaser removed a wisdom tooth for me yesterday. Easy, peasy out before I even realized. My one negative comment is with regard to the person that checks you out when all is complete. No name but rude, has obviously repeated her instructions to a patient so many times it boring for her. She is NOT an enhancement to the practice hence 4 stars.

Avoid going to this office. The staff is extremely rude. After an hour of waiting, my husband stepped up to the front desk to inquire when we would be seen. He was then rudely asked what he wanted and who the patient was that was waiting. Unfortunately, it did not end there. The staff member that took to the back of the office asked if we had our Xrays. I then proceeded to ask her why we needed Xrays and asked if she had the Xrays from our orthodontist that recommend this group of surgeons. She then proceeded to tell me that this is not their responsibility with a tone of voice that was completely inappropriate and proceeded to argue with me. At this point, I told her that I was not trying to cause an issue but that when my husband made the appointment, this was not relayed to him--I work with health care providers and know that when you make an appointment, the staff tells you what you need to bring such as a referral or Xrays etc. My husband was never told to send Xrays or bring Xrays to our consult. Instead of being apologetic, this staff member went up to the front desk to basically complain instead of trying to get to the bottom of what happened to try and resolve the issue. The staff member then returned and led us to a room and then stated that a Xray needed to be taken since they do not have our Xrays. Now I know for a fact that if Xrays have already been taken within the same year that my dental insurance will not cover the cost of a second set of Xrays. In the end we ended up leaving because of the unprofessional way we were being treated.

Receptionist refused the contact insurance. Her answer was she was pretty sure that I was out of network. Thank you for wasting my time.

I had a wisdom tooth that was making it hard to sleep at night. I called all around on Tuesday night in search of an Oral Surgeon that could help and by Thursday evening, I was being taken care of. The office staff was kind and warm. I'm a teacher in NYC and don't often take off so the hours here were so helpful and worked within my work schedule! Jesse, my dental assistant let me talk his ear with my extraction nerves and was so patient. Dr. Sur (sp?) was great, immediately put me at ease . My extraction was so quick and painless, especially with the sweet air! 10/10 would recommend.

I have never experienced anything like the way they asked for payment. I was sitting in chair waiting for numbing gel to take effect with a swab in my mouth. They came in and said the cost would be $$. I said ok. Then the person said "NOW". They need to train employees how to be courteous.

I had a great experience with Dr. Karim...he and the staff were excellent, and he called me personally the next day to see how I was doing...He and the staff definitely get 5 stars

Be prepared to wait over and hour. This time for a simple X-ray and consultation. Why make appointments if you can't keep them? Like we have hours to sit in a waiting room.

Had to come to this office for emergency tooth extraction ( was referred by my dentist) I was in Excruciating Pain Reception staff not friendly at all,especially one particular person, had to wait a long time in reception area,than had me wait even longer as I sat in the other room waiting for the surgeon to come in which he was in the room next to me. Some office staff members would tell me I'm next as I watched the same surgeon take another patient across the hall. Again staff members would tell me the surgeon would be right in, which didn't happened So I walked out of this Office! I WAS DONE!!!) Meanwhile I was on the phone with another oral surgeons office whom I used in the past,said they would take me in right away and they did.

Highly recommend this office. Dr. Karim and his assistant Jessie were wonderful. They were so kind and reassuring every step of the way - I don't think you could have a better experience.

I was so impressed with the attention to detail and care put into my visit. I had to have a wisdom tooth removed in which I was nervous about being put under. They warned me about things that could potentially happen and none of it happened but I appreciate the fore-warning. When I woke up from the procedure I asked them, "So when are we starting?" They smiled and said "All done!" It was so easy and painless I worked myself up over nothing. They gave me ample care instructions after the process however I had no pain or discomfort in the days to follow and never took the antibiotics or requested pain killers. They did a wonderful job and I highly recommend this business!

Had my last wisdom tooth extracted yesterday. Waited only 5 mins to be brought back, extraction took about 20 seconds and I felt nothing. Dr Karim is outstanding, and his assistant made me very comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Dr.Karim is AMAZING !! So nice and informative on everything. Had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled and didn't feel any pain. He is an asset to the practice ! I would recommend everyone to go see Dr.Karim! Thank so much for your kindness. That's all we need in the world nowadays

The front desk staff including the manager Margaret, are extremely rude and inconsiderate of patients who don't speak English. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this place! Didn't even get to see the doctor after filling out paperwork for an emergency wisdom tooth visit. The woman with short blonde hair and glasses told me to my face the doctor would not see anyone who does not speak English. HORRIBLE!!!!!

What a wonderful experience I had this passed Saturday. Dr. Karim extracted all 4 of my wisdom teeth. At first, I was nervous to get the surgery without general anesthesia but Dr. Karim assured me it would be a quick and painless procedure even without it. He and his assistant hygienist (unfortunately didn't get her name) ,talked to me throughout the whole procedure, making sure I was comfortable and before I knew it, they were done. No pain at all and quick, just as promised. And I even received a check-in call from Dr. Karim himself the following day to check on how to recovery process was going and if I had any concerns. That was very nice. Thank you Dr. Karim and the rest of the team at LI Oral Surgeons!!

I highly recommend this group. Dr. Karim was so kind and reassuring . I went in worried and came out relaxed. He spent time with me answering questions . The office staff was very nice . I had called many other places that would not see me for a consultation. The office is very clean and I was seen in a timely manner .
