Dr. Elliot Koschitzki is a board-certified oral implantologist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (DABOI). He graduated from New York University College of Dentistry, then went on to attend a prestigious three-year residency program in advanced surgery and implant prosthodontics at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Koschitzki served as the chief resident. Dr. Koschitzki occasionally lectures on guided surgery and dental implantology for residents at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in New York City. In 2014, he was published in the Journal of Oral Implantology for his work on implant replacement and implant prosthesis.
Dr. Nick Augenbaum is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He graduated from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, he attended a one-year general practice residency at New York Hospital of Queens, followed by a residency at the respected surgery and implant prosthodontics program at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Augenbaum occasionally lectures to oral surgery and general practice residents on restorative and surgical implant topics. His work on implant and prosthesis replacement was published in 2014 in the Journal of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Pfeffer is the founder of Mobile Dental Anesthesiology with experience providing anesthesia services in the setting of a private dental office for all types of procedures. He is devoted to his patients and can be perfectly described as a kind, caring man that is easy to connect with. His personable skills allow him to find common ground with all of his patients and work well with clients with special needs, especially kids. Dr.Pfeffer is a clinical assistant professor in the Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Divisions of Hospital Dentistry and Dental Anesthesiology at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and in this capacity, supervises dental residents who provide dental treatment for adults with special needs in Southampton Hospital. He also supervises anesthesia and periodontal residents providing sedation/anesthesia for dental procedures. Dr. Pfeffer attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and subsequently completed a three-year General Practice Residency Medical Track and Dental Anesthesiology Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital.
Dr. Jason L. Joseph is a residency-trained, experienced, qualified, and board certified dental anesthesiologist. He attended Boston Universitys Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with honors and received an award by his professors for Excellence in Patient Management. After graduating Boston University he was accepted into a General Practice Residency Medical Track and Dental Anesthesiology Residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center, the only residency of its kind in the nation. During Dr. Josephs Anesthesia training at Stony Brook (the only level one trauma center in Suffolk County), he took trauma call, provided anesthesia for transplants, urological, oral surgery, dental, ear-nose-throat, vascular, plastic surgery, orthopedic, neurosurgery, pediatric and adult general surgery. Dr. Josephs passion was to provide anesthesia care for Dental patients, because everyone is entitled to good oral health regardless of their health history. Dr. Joseph is a member of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and Nassau County Dental Society Member. Dr. Joseph understands this can be overwhelming, but with a personal discussion he can figure out a plan that works for you.

Amy joined our South Huntington office after 15 years of retail management. With her operation management skills and her customer service expertise, she is a perfect fit for the dental industry. Since she started in the dental field she has been a quick learner and is quite knowledgeable on dental terminology and insurance. She loves connecting with the patients and making sure all their needs are taken care of for a great experience.
Ellen Karpinski is our wonderful dental hygienist. Ellen has been working in our office for 17 years. She is a master of painless gum treatment. Ellen goes out of her way to make your experience wonderful. Ellen prides herself in continued education and advancement in dentistry. Her priority is caring for every patient and bringing them to total health. A visit with Ellen is fun and easy!

I am so glad I chose Long Island Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry of Rocky Point. Dr. Nick and his staff are the best. After going on a few consultations with other places it was easy to go with Long Island Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Nick answered any questions I had usually before I had a chance to ask them. His staff is so kind and accommodating, they are a pleasure to deal with. I am extremely happy with the temporary implants that I received last week I`m happy to say I am pain free and love my new smile. I look forward to all the follow up appointments and I can't wait to get my permanent implants. This office is both friendly and professional. After being with a dental office for about 25 years, my former dentist retired and the office was consumed by large corporation. After researching, I decided on Dr's. Nick and Elliott's practice. I've had three major procedures and am very pleased with the experience and results. I highly recommend this practice.

I have been going to LI Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry for a couple of years and have been very happy with them. I was referred here by a coworker and have since brought over friends and family. The office is very organized and helpful. They quickly set up appointments and work with your insurance. Dr. Elliot is very thorough and is up to date with the latest in the dentistry field. His techs are all very friendly and do a great job.

This dental office is filled with gentle friendly professionals. I have always been anxious about dental work, if you are too, try this group. I had veneers made for front teeth. Also wonderful dental hygienist. Very happy with my choice to use this practice

Dr. Nick & Dr. Elliot are the best . Dr. Ellen also & all the assistants & office personnel. ALWAYS curtious & caring. Amazing experience & totally involved with painless treatment. I have been going for 5 years & never have anxiety about dental treatments, hygiene or any other issue, always treated with kindness & respect. They are that way with all the interactions I have witnessed to other patients. Highly recommend them all.

There's a reason they have such amazing reviews. I saw Dr. Elliot recently for a double extraction. He was great - super friendly, caring, explained everything in detail - the procedure was easier than I could have possibly imagined. Ariel was awesome too, she was so nice, calm, and helpful. I went back today for a quick checkup and got the same treatment. The receptionist up front is really nice, even when I had to reschedule my first appointment at the last minute . I definitely plan to continue coming here for myself and my family.

I have been visiting LI Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry for perhaps 8 years or so. Began seeing Dr. Nick when I had some old fillings that needed repairing. Over the years, the team has provided me with routine dental care, two crowns, and plan of action for my teeth in the long term. As someone who has experienced severe teeth erosion, with well over 50% of my teeth surface having been lost over the years mostly due to grinding and an edge to edge bite- I had essentially sworn off hope of ever having a complete looking smile. I was faced with having my teeth continue to deteriorate, meaning much more invasive and uncomfortable work down the road. With the magic Dr. Nick and his team were able to work, I was given an alternative to all that. I am approaching the end stages of a complete teeth restoration. This has given me a more pleasant smile and has made my mouth much more comfortable- for example, eating is a totally different experience, with the proper amount of chewing surface returned to my mouth. My bite has been corrected and my teeth no longer meet edge to edge, minimizing future impact of any grinding. Really cannot say enough about Dr. Nick and his team at this office. Everyone is professional and very kind, and the office setting is a peaceful and comfortable place to have dental work done. I have found the team to be conscious of my well being and comfort, always ensuring I am not in pain and explaining to me what they are working on as they proceed. I am eager to recommend LI Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry to anyone, whether you have a big project as I did, or you are just looking for a great dentist for routine work. My wife has not had any major work done; she goes just for routine visits and also loves it! Thank you to everyone at this great practice!

Love Dr. Elliott and his entire staff. Dr. Elliott makes you feel at ease, he takes the time to explain things to you and is very patient. He has an amazing staff they are extremely caring and friendly. Our entire family adore Ellen, best hygienist ever. Truly, can not complain about anyone in the office, they treat you like family. In all my years of going there we have never been dissatisfied or dissapointed.

Dr. Nick and his staff are the most caring and professional dentist office I have ever had the pleasure of working with. They are always looking to make sure you are comfortable and are satisfied with their work. I came in with a mess of a mouth worried I would have to get dentures and Dr. Nick explained my options in depth and made me feel comfortable with my choice of implants. All the technology that they used to take my molds, and visualize my new implants was state of the art. He did such a great job on my temporary set I can't wait to see the final ones. I would highly recommend Dr. Nick, his knowledge and expertise really shows through his work. I truly appreciate him giving me my smile back.
