Dr. Elliot Koschitzki is a board-certified oral implantologist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology (DABOI). He graduated from New York University College of Dentistry, then went on to attend a prestigious three-year residency program in advanced surgery and implant prosthodontics at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Koschitzki served as the chief resident. Dr. Koschitzki occasionally lectures on guided surgery and dental implantology for residents at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in New York City. In 2014, he was published in the Journal of Oral Implantology for his work on implant replacement and implant prosthesis.
Dr. Nick Augenbaum is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He graduated from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. After graduation, he attended a one-year general practice residency at New York Hospital of Queens, followed by a residency at the respected surgery and implant prosthodontics program at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Augenbaum occasionally lectures to oral surgery and general practice residents on restorative and surgical implant topics. His work on implant and prosthesis replacement was published in 2014 in the Journal of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Pfeffer is the founder of Mobile Dental Anesthesiology with experience providing anesthesia services in the setting of a private dental office for all types of procedures. He is devoted to his patients and can be perfectly described as a kind, caring man that is easy to connect with. His personable skills allow him to find common ground with all of his patients and work well with clients with special needs, especially kids. Dr.Pfeffer is a clinical assistant professor in the Departments of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Divisions of Hospital Dentistry and Dental Anesthesiology at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine and in this capacity, supervises dental residents who provide dental treatment for adults with special needs in Southampton Hospital. He also supervises anesthesia and periodontal residents providing sedation/anesthesia for dental procedures. Dr. Pfeffer attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and subsequently completed a three-year General Practice Residency Medical Track and Dental Anesthesiology Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital.
Dr. Jason L. Joseph is a residency-trained, experienced, qualified, and board certified dental anesthesiologist. He attended Boston Universitys Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with honors and received an award by his professors for Excellence in Patient Management. After graduating Boston University he was accepted into a General Practice Residency Medical Track and Dental Anesthesiology Residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center, the only residency of its kind in the nation. During Dr. Josephs Anesthesia training at Stony Brook (the only level one trauma center in Suffolk County), he took trauma call, provided anesthesia for transplants, urological, oral surgery, dental, ear-nose-throat, vascular, plastic surgery, orthopedic, neurosurgery, pediatric and adult general surgery. Dr. Josephs passion was to provide anesthesia care for Dental patients, because everyone is entitled to good oral health regardless of their health history. Dr. Joseph is a member of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and Nassau County Dental Society Member. Dr. Joseph understands this can be overwhelming, but with a personal discussion he can figure out a plan that works for you.

Amy joined our South Huntington office after 15 years of retail management. With her operation management skills and her customer service expertise, she is a perfect fit for the dental industry. Since she started in the dental field she has been a quick learner and is quite knowledgeable on dental terminology and insurance. She loves connecting with the patients and making sure all their needs are taken care of for a great experience.
Ellen Karpinski is our wonderful dental hygienist. Ellen has been working in our office for 17 years. She is a master of painless gum treatment. Ellen goes out of her way to make your experience wonderful. Ellen prides herself in continued education and advancement in dentistry. Her priority is caring for every patient and bringing them to total health. A visit with Ellen is fun and easy!
Merin has worked in the administrative end of the dental field for over 20 years. Her experience and friendly personality ensures your first point of contact with our office is always a pleasant one. She looks forward to connecting with patients and making sure each visit is a great experience.

I had dealings with all kinds and you just proved my point based on your response with no apology or taking any responsibility. Your too busy doing google searches than making your offices a better place for any potential new patients maybe you need to do something better with your time...It is your office

First off, This office is 45 minutes from my house.. and I will drive it 10/10. The staff is lovely, Merin is an absolute sweetheart and so friendly everytime I walk in. Diana always helps prep me before Dr Nick goes to work. Its always such a lovely visit, and Dr Nick is so quick and professional. Ill brag about this dentists office as long as I live

I enjoyed the state-of-the-art dentistry services provided to me in this office. The doctor is very knowledgeable with hands-on experience and specialty in implants as well as journal publications on the implant topic. He took the job seriously when he carefully and precisely executed the operations and explained each step of the process to me beforehand. The assistant staff dedicated to insurance claims is also friendly and skilled and handles the insurance claim directly with the insurance company. I also benefited from her great tips.

I've been to many dentist over the years trying to go about getting an implant and steps to improve my smile cosmetically. However this is the first time that a dentist has been honest with me about treatment options and truly looks out for the best interest for his patients. I recently had a molar pulled, and he explained that in order to get an implant and for it to be successful I'd need a bone graft . He explained it so beautifully and showed me the entire process. It was such a difference from my old dentist who wanted to pull same tooth but never mentioned a bone graft, so technically an implant would have failed there because of that. LI implant & cosmetics really know what their doing. The staff is so nice and welcoming. The office is very clean and nice. I would highly recommend anyone coming for basic dentistry and cosmetic.

This practice goes above and beyond and take exceptional care of their patients. We needed care urgently for my elderly mother and they saw her very quickly. They are exceptionally compassionate and professional. They made her feel at ease and treated her very well. I can't speak highly enough about every staff member!!!

This office provides exceptional service. They are always friendly and helpful. They even found something suspicious during my husband's visit, which turned out to be an early sign of cancer. We caught it early and we can't thank them for being diligent!

I could not be more satisfied with my entire experience at LI Implant and Cosmetic Surgery. I am going to be detailed here as it's important you choose the right facility. I was diagnosed in early January with a compromised molar due to gum infection and went for 3 additional opinions. I was impressed from the onset with Dr. Nick and his entire staff over all others . I appreciated the comprehensive plan to get me better that included scaling and root planing to get my gums back into good shape. Then came the extraction of effected tooth, and then implant surgery. I am 100% better and all the aforementioned procedures were done with NO Pain! Dr. Nick is highly skilled and practices all the latest technologies in this field and explained everything clearly every step of the way. His assistant Norka is extremely professional and made all the difference. Ellen was responsible for the deep cleaning and has brought me back to near perfect oral health. Merlin and Amy were so helpful with scheduling, billing and follow-up. I cannot express how great this place is and how fantastic my experience was. I as so glad I decided to go with Dr. Nick and LI Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry in Huntington Station, NY.

Geez where to I begin ! I've never been a huge fan of going to the dentist however my experience at LI Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry was outstanding ! Making my appointments have been easy and they always try to make it convenient for me ...thanks to Marin and Amy. Amy takes care of all the insurance info.... Nothing for me to worry about there. Thank you Amy for taking that job off my hands. I've been to the office twice so far and always found the office to be extremely clean , all the girls to be warm , welcoming and professional. Dr. Nick is very nice as well and takes the time to explain everything to me. He also seems eager to answer any questions I may have. My first visit was a cleaning and X-rays .... Piece of cake ( no pun intended lol... bet you liked that one Merin ). Boy can she make me laugh. Diana the dental technician took care of my X-rays and cleaning . Diana is amazingly sweet and kind. My second visit I had a cavity taken care of and also had a broken crown replaced. It was all done in one visit AND THERE WAS NO PAIN FROM START TO FINISH ! The crown came out beautiful to. I even joked with Dr. Nick that it was a shame such a nice crown wouldn't be seen because it was a molar. As I left my appointment Diana, Amy and Merin set me up for my next visit. I'm so grateful to all of them for making my dental experience so pleasant and entertaining to. Those girls can make me laugh. It's a good thing Dr Nick is giving me such a great smile . This office exceeded my expectations. Really should be rated 10 stars not 5! The office is very professional, clean, and detailed with the latest and most up to date technology. The staff is caring and dedicated, we were treated like family!! We came in with my teenage son as an emergency trauma patient, several complicated severe restorative procedures were needed. Both short term and long treatment plans were quickly and efficiently created, then implemented. Additionally, an affordable payment plan was then set up for us. Throughout this difficult time, it all we never once worried, as we knew we were in Dr. Elliot's capable hands. Would highly highly recommend this top rated office.
