Dr. Barkley grew up in the Madison-Inglewood Area and graduated from Montgomery Bell Academy. After graduating college, he attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Since his graduation in 1976, he has practiced dentistry in the Madison, Rivergate, and Goodlettsville area for nearly 40years. These years of practice give him a wealth of experience to provide top quality dental care.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the Nashville Dental Society. In order to provide his patients with the current techniques and procedures, he frequently participates in continuing education courses.

Dr. Barkley and his wife, Ann, have two daughters. Their oldest,Laural, and her husband Wayne along with their three children recently relocated back to the Nashville area from Cape Town, South Africa. Their youngest, Beccais an NICU nurse at Centennial Medical Center. Dr. Barkleyand Ann are actively ministering at Parkway Baptist Church. He has traveled the world for the past 25 years doing volunteer mission work for the Lord serving in the Phillippines, West Africa, Brazil,Chile and Venezuela. Dr. Barkleyalways says, Our goal is to treat each patient as if they are a member of our family. The relationships we have with our patients are most important to us. And The best thing about teeth is that they are connected to people. We love people!!!

Dr. Harding grew up in Goodlettsville and graduated from Goodpasture Christian School in 1999. Upon her graduation she attended Lipscomb Univeristy where she obtained a bachelors degree in science and graduated magna cum laude in 2003. Dr. Harding then attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 2008.

Since her graduation, Dr. Harding has worked as a general dentist in the Nashville area before returning here to her hometown of Goodlettsville. During that time she has honed her clinical skills and taken many hours of continuing education on everything from CAD/CAM Cerec technology to limited orthodontics including Invisalign.

Dr. Harding is a member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association and the Nashville Dental Society. She has been honored to be voted one of Nashville's Top Dentists for the past five consecutive years by Nashville Lifestyles Magazine.

When Dr. Harding is not working in someone's mouth, she can be found singing and traveling with the Christian a cappella group, Durant. She frequently travels abroad singing and also doing dental missions.She has traveled throughout the world - most recently to Belize, the UK, France and Africa! She is also an active member at Northfield Church in Gallatin and sings on the church's praise team.

Rachel is our insurance coordinator and works hard to make sure you are getting all you can from your insurance benefits. Rachel has been working in the dental field for 5 years starting as a chairside clinical assistant before moving to the front office.

Mikayla is our scheduling coordinator and works hard to keep our schedule running smoothly! Mikayla has been working in the dental field for 5 years beginning as a chairside clinical assistant before moving to the front office. She says her favorite part of dentistry is the opportunity to build personal relationships with patients. Mikayla recently got married and enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and her dogs, Lonzo & Daisy. Mikayla also loves listening to true crime podcasts and reading books.

Julie received her degree in dental hygiene from Western Kentucky University and also has a degree in communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. For seven years, Julie had her own business working as a fill-in hygienist for various office around middle Tennessee, including our own! She served on the House of Delegates of the Tennessee Dental Hygienists Association and on the board for the Nashville Dental Hygienists Association. In her first career, she was Director of Communications for the Tennessee Bar Association and has provided marketing and public relations services for the banking and mortgage banking industries. She lives on 45 acres with her husband , two daughters, three dogs, a cat, and even a few chickens from time to time. We feel very privileged to have Julie as a part of our team!

Chermelle isone of our amazing dental hygienists. She is one of the newer members of our team, although definitelynot new to dental hygiene!In fact, Chermelle worked alongside Dr. Harding for many years at a Nashville area practice before deciding she wanted to stay closer to her home here in Goodlettsville. She is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and is loved and highly requested among our patients! She has the gentlest touch when it comes to cleaning teeth, but her sweet personality is equally as gentle and caring. Chermelle is married with two children and enjoys spending her free time with her family. Chermelle is also a talented jewelry maker and enjoys creating pieces to share with her friends and family.

Sherri is a Registered Dental Hygienist and works part time with our practice. She started her career in dentistry as a chairside assistant before transitioning to the preventative aspect of dental hygiene. Sherri is a ray of light and puts smiles on the faces of her patients in more ways than one! Her soft yet thorough touch and enthusiasm for patient care epitomizes what Long Hollow Dental is all about. In her spare time Sherri enjoys writing, music, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Diana is cross trained to work both in our front administrative officeand also in the back as a clinical assistant. She is a wonderful asset to our office and always strives for diligence in all she does. We are very blessed to have her as our in-house translator as she is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish. Diana is currently continuing her education at Volunteer State University in pursuit of a Dental Hygiene degree. She has two daughters at home, Leticia and Karla.

Melissa is a cherished member of our team, serving as one of our talented dental assistants.Originally from Northern Kentucky, Melissa received her dental assistant certification in 2009. After practicing for several years, Melissa decided to furtherher education at the University of Tennesseeand obtained certification in expanded functionswhich allows her to do more advanced skills such as place fillings after the doctor has prepared the tooth. Melissa says her goal is to ensure that each patient in her care feels 100% informed and comfortable during their visit. Outside of the office Melissa enjoys yoga, boating and spending time with her husband Michael and their children Caleigh and Evan.

Caroline recently graduated from the Dental Staff School of Tennessee and is super excited to be starting her career in the dental field! She is dedicated to excellence and is continuing her education by pursing additional certifications in coronal polishing and sealants. When she isn't at the office, Caroline enjoys painting, photography and playing disc golf! We are very blessed to have Caroline as a part of our team!
