Dr. Long was born and raised in a small town in southern West Virginia.He graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. The next fall, he attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry.
After graduation, Dr. Long and his family moved to Wilmington to begin Dr. Longs dental career. Their love for the beach and warm weather made Wilmington, NC a top choice for raising their family and planting roots. Wilmingtons small town charm and friendly residents quickly made the Longs decide to begin their lives there.
Dr. Long purchased the office in 2018, which was when it became Long Dental. He is proud to continue the practices 40 year old legacy of providing top notch dental care in Wilmington. Dr. Long is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.These organizations plus his continuing education hours keep him current on all of the latest dental advancements. He is always seeking the latest dental ideas and tools to ensure his patients receive the most current and up to date care possible.
Dr. Long and his family now live in the Porters Neck area of north Wilmington. He and his wife Brittany have three sons, Brody, Grayson and their newest addition, Carter. Dr. Long enjoys spending time with his family and making memories at the beach, playing sports in the back yard and of course the occasional wrestling match or water balloon fight with his boys.As a WVU grad and West Virginia native, you can find Dr. Long wearing gold and blue as he proudly cheers on the WVU Mountaineers. He also enjoys fishing, hunting and staying active.You may also find him grilling out in the back yard or trying new restaurants around town with Brittany.
Dr. Chapman and his wife, Sarah relocated to Wilmington in Summer 2020. Graduate of West Virginia University School of Dentistry class of 2014 Dr. Daniel Chapman is proud to be serving the community of Wilmington, NC.
