I'll be quick and short just as my experience with Long Beach Endodontix. I was referred to this office for a root canal. I went in the office around 2:05 and I was out around 2:25. I had some x-ray rays, just to confirm diagnosis from the office I was referred from. Saw a Dr for about 5 minutes. Then I was sent to the receptionist for a treatment plan price. I was very surprised I already had a CONSULTATION FEE of $135.00. (My fault for not asking upfront). I guess they know I am coming back.

Wasn't going to leave a review because it's been a while but someone needs to know. I went in for what I thought was a free consultation. The office is very nice, modern and clean which is a plus. I was told that I needed a service which I wasn't prepared to have immediately however the doc wanted to do it same day. When I requested to reschedule I was charged a crazy amount. This put a bad taste in my mouth as I should of been told up front of any charges beyond my primary co-pay. Due to this I'm not returning nor would I recommend. Hopefully this helps someone.

Incredibly expensive. I Paid over $400 and all they did was take some X-rays and a consultation. When they originally performed my root canal, which i am still having problems with, the doctor was having a personal conversation with the helper and i couldn't help but think if he was doing an adequate job on my root canal while conversing with the girl helping him. I had to hear about their weekend plans and their personal lives the whole time he had his hands in my mouth. It was an awkward situation to say the least. The doctor himself is a very nice and courteous young man. The place is really nice and clean. They obviously have really up to date and nice equipment and a great view from the 3rd floor window.

I was about to get a consultation here for a retreat. I asked Stephanie about costs and whether my insurance is covered. She came off a bit rude and too firm. As if it was a bother that I was asking her something to do with costs. Very poorly handled. I now don't feel comfortable enough to go to this place.

But Dr. Hutchens and the entire staff at Long Beach Endodontix were incredible. They were all kind and courteous, check in was easy and swift, and they ensured I was comfortable the entire time. Mind you that I went during the midst of the ongoing COVID crisis - they took the utmost care to protect me and themselves by only allowing one patient in the office at a time, checking temperatures, requiring distancing and the use of hand sanitizer for everyone in the office. I felt safe and cared for here. The procedure was finished in just over an hour for a fairly complicated tooth. Dr. Hutchens made sure that I was in no pain and that I felt no discomfort after the procedure either. While I sincerely hope I do not have to return again, if I needed to, there is nowhere else that I would turn but here.
