I was born and raised in Southern California. My dental career started 37 years ago as a part-time summer job. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry, especially cosmetics. I love helping people achieve their dream smile. I pride myself on making patients feel comfortable and at ease. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my grandkids, dog, friends, and family. I play the piano and enjoy all types of music.
As a dental hygienist, my top priority is to educate each patient as to what their specific needs are. No two patients are the same! I also do everything possible to make hygiene visits as pleasant as possible. Dental hygiene is a true passion for me. I have been in dentistry for 32 years and still love it - almost as much as I love going to Disneyland with my two daughters. I also enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and hanging out with my two dogs!
I have been in the dental field for 14 years. I have assisted in all sorts of specialty procedures within the dental field including periodontics, endodontics, pedodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery. I attended the dental assistant/x-ray technician certification course through N.O.C. R.O.P in 2007 and attended RDA prep course with Coastline R.O.P. in 2013. When I am not assisting Dr. Mark in creating beautiful and healthy smiles during the week, I am enjoying my time with my husband and two daughters. Im also active in my church and I serve in the Worship Arts team where I sing. I also enjoy baking all sorts of yummy desserts!
I've been working in the Dental field for 14 years, specifically front office. I have worked in most major dental specialties. I truly enjoy helping our patients with any questions they might have and also assisting them with any concerns they may come across. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, whether it be doing arts and crafts, hanging out at the beach or playing at the park. I also enjoy reading and educating myself in various topics.

Our office uses intraoral digital scanners to create a highly detailed 3D model of your teeth. The resulting 3D surface model is the virtual, time efficient, and safe alternative to traditional plaster models.
I became interested in dentistry when my insecurities with my smile were diminished after I had my teeth straightened with Invisalign, and had a few chipped teeth, a result of a traumatic accident as a child, fixed. It was very life changing for me because before having this dental treatment, I would never smile in photos and I would hold in my laughter so that nobody could see my teeth. Since then, I have been able to smile and laugh freely without any insecurities of my smile!
During my undergraduate studies at University of California, Irvine, I was associated with the Global Medical Training organization where I had the opportunity to travel to international countries and shadow dentists. I also studied abroad at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England in the summer of 2012. I continued my studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine with a high interest in implant dentistry.
My high interest in implant dentistry led me to become an affiliate associate with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry during my fourth year of dental school. This was an invigorating year long course in learning about implant dentistry, surgery, bone grafting, and how to treat complications that may arise.
I continue to pursue education in all phases of dentistry and am always looking into new research and technology to provide you the most up-to-date information possible, so you can make your own educated decision for your custom, individually tailored treatment plan.
I am passionate in providing excellent dental care in a professional, friendly, spa-like dental practice. I aim to provide you with the oral health you need and deserve. My philosophy is to treat each person as if you are my mother, father, brother, or sister.
I grew up in South Orange County for all of my life until I went to dental school. I grew up playing tennis since I was seven years old and played varsity tennis for four years at Dana Hills High School. I love sports and I love to travel! I have been to quite a few countries around the world and am always looking to explore and educate myself on the different lifestyles and cultures of the world! In my free time, I love to hang out at the beach with friends and family, play a round of golf, and hang out with my dog, Zeke!

Everyone at Long Beach Dental health is extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I used to always be afraid of the dentist as a kid, but the staff and Dr. Mark made the experience enjoyable. I also felt that I could trust their medical opinion and expertise. Highly recommend.

I have to say I am TERRIFIED of the dentist and this was the most AMAZING experience. Nancy and I were besties right away and she literally held my hand during my fillings. Dr. Saad talked me through everything and made me super comfortable. And everyone was so accommodating. I will never go anywhere else, sorry not sorry.

Dr. Saad and his staff were professional and personable. The equipment was high tech such that I had not seen at other dentist offices. Every step in the exam was explained and all options were discussed. Never had any medical professional spend as much time with me as did Dr. Saad and his staff.

Review from an anxious person: Amazing Experience! The staff members are so sweet and their high priority is to make you feel comfortable and educate you on your dental health. When I went in for my first visit, I felt nervous because I hate going to any dentist. I was greeted by the inviting secretaries. Nancy is the Registered Dental Assistant who is so sweet! I told her that Dentist Offices make me so nervous. She gave me a warm blanket and a warm-neck pillow. This surprised me because I have never had a dentist group cater like this. Dr. Anthony Saad is the Dentist and he is the sweetest Dentist EVER! He noticed that I needed fillings and checked my root canal which showed signs of infection. He referred me to a root canal specialist. On my second appointment, I had fillings and my metal fillings removed per my request. I hate getting fillings because the drilling sound makes me so anxious to the point of tears! Dr. Anthony and Nancy were so sweet and kept checking on me every time I got anxious. Of course, knowing myself I cried ( I always do ) and they were so kind to give me a break and comforted me. For the first time, I felt comforted at a dentist. Nancy held my hand during the fillings and gave me words of encouragement. I was able to calm down and felt better. Dr. Anthony Saad was so kind and noticed he needed to explain what he was doing to make me feel comfortable. The procedure was so smooth and I began getting sleepy on how relaxed I was getting. I can't believe I made myself nervous for no reason because I was expecting the worst. I am so grateful ..beyond grateful! to have found this Dental Group! I have never been treated so well by a dentist team and they honestly didn't even need to do all of that to comfort me. I can confidently say go to this Dentist! especially if you are a high-anxiety person! Trust me, after the first visit you will want to keep coming here. A bit of advice, don't let your nervousness get in the way of your dental health. I will be going confidently now to this dental group every time now.

I had put off dental care way too long. I had a lot of fear and anxiety in looking for a new dentist. I could not have found a better office to take care of me. Dr. Saad's technical skill and chair-side manner is the best I have experienced. The support staff is amazing. Shannon is some kind of angel and really cares about patient comfort. The deep cleaning was not painful at all. Nancy is amazing. I can't say enough good things about this practice. They have taken the fear out of visiting the dentist.

The best experience I've had at a dental office in a very long time. Dr. Saad and his team are amazing! I only had a teeth cleaning today, and my hygienist, Shannon, is always compassionate to my fears and takes the extra time to carefully clean my teeth since they're very sensitive. The office staff is very friendly and Dr. Mark is pretty good too. I've felt very comfortable in the past when he's done work on my teeth.
