I went into the dentist today for a first time visit and cleaning; the first started out by saying I need all this work done, oh we need to replace your fillings with white ones, your insurance won't cover it but you need it; oh you will need a crown; insurance will not cover that either. The dentist kept on trying to sell me stuff. I told him that I got my teeth cleaned in March and got X-rays done. Then the dentist tells me, oh the other dentist does not know what they are talking about, they don't know what they are looking at. My teeth are not in any form of pain or anything. The dentist then says, oh they will be. I just left after that and told them I will not be returning at all. I'm going to my dentist when my issuance changes. I want to go to honest people that know what they are doing. I do not recommend this place at all!!! Go somewhere else that you will be treated better!!! They don't not even deserve a one star review, I just had to put one in order to write this! Horrible experience here!!

Was "squeezed in" for an emergency appointment today. I am in pain and a tooth is very loose. I am using time off from work to get this taken care of. I got there on time for my appointment. The assistant was very nice but the dentist seemed uncaring and unwilling to talk to me. The assistant explained all of the extras the dentist wanted to add to my extraction. I told them I just needed my tooth pulled without the extras, a few minutes later I was told I needed to reschedule and be "squeezed in" once again. I am left with a loose tooth that is causing me pain. I am changing my dentist and I will not be returning.

They don't deserve a star. Huge disappointment. Overall, the service provided was sloppy. I've never had an experience like that in a dentist's chair, and I will never go back. Not only did I feel they did terrible, sloppy work (from the dentist to his dental assistant to the front office), I also feel they have been fraudulent with out-of-pocket fees and insurance. They took advantage of me and destroyed my trust that they were looking out for me as an HMO patient and providing the best care possible, without exorbitant fees. I'm a pleasant patient, overly trusting, and certainly not one who leaves reviews (this is my first Google Review EVER--I also left one on Yelp), but this place has upset me so much and leaves me feeling mistrustful and leery of working with dentists in the future. Such a bummer. They don't deserve your business.

I miss my Dr. Sumner Sollitt, he was the best ever. He would kind and he listen to me and pray with me, cause he knew I was scared. He just retired and oh how I am going to miss him. Enjoy your retirement Dr. Sollitt. So now I have a Dr. Tran. I hope and pray that he is as compassion as Dr. Sollitt was .

Great service and customer care for the staff and Doctor Pappadopalous. Went out of there way to help me, even though I'm a visitor from another state. Helped me with my problem and did not make me wait 5 days like some other dentists who need to go on vacay first. 10 out 10 for customer care

We were referred here by our old doctor. Easy to get an appointment, we are always in and out. They aren't pushy but do a good job on our teeth. Friendly staff.

Love this office. Was with DiLorretto for a decade. Then I moved and tried to go somewhere close to new house. Huge mistake. They know exactly what to do and won't rip you off. Still smiling over 12 years later!!!!

Called to make an appointment today for an emergency issue. The person on the phone was completely unhelpful and unsympathetic. I had an insurance issue that I resolved prior to calling them, but she basically said there was nothing she could do until next month. I would absolutely never go here.

Another dentist in town tried to tell me I had a cracked filling, a dead tooth, and required a cleaning procedure so invasive I'd need to be anesthetized. I'm glad I called their bluff. Long Beach Dental Group saved me $665 (even after insurance), along with a lot of pain and suffering! And even though I hadn't been in for a cleaning in a few years, I was in and out of the office in less than 30 minutes with my teeth looking spic 'n span. Everyone in the office is very patient and relaxing, but they're also efficient too. Huge fan of this spot!

Dr. Papadopoulos and his staff are the BEST dental care group in the entire city......they are affordable, fast, friendly and extremely professional. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends.....and you too now.
