Thank you for considering Lonestar Smiles for Kids as your childs dental home. I would like to share with you our dental care philosophy for children. Our team truly enjoys the practice of pediatric dentistry and caring for children. We take a family-centered care approach to dental treatment for children.
Sarah is an administrative supervisor who has a strong commitment to our hospital patients. Her confident energy gives patients and parents ease of mind for all dental procedures. Sarah has a wide range of knowledge on a multitude of subjects and focuses her attention on ensuring our families are well informed and have all of their questions answered. She spends her free time painting or cheering on her family in their various sports activities.
Maira is a registered clinical dental assistant who takes a personal interest in communications as our office translator. She also oversees the safety of all staff members as our resident OSHA supervisor. Mayras sense of humor and welcoming attitude make the office a warm place and keep our patients at ease. Her leadership skills and gentle instructive nature serve her well, both in the office and at home where she loves spending time with her daughter, Rhian. Maira and husband Bryan are avid Rangers fans and frequent the stadium in Arlington..
Kelcy is another one of our clinical assistants. Her self-confidence and adaptive skills make her interactions with our patients fun and easy. Her eagerness to learn new skills is equally matched with her ability to keep things moving along in our office. Kelcy has an outgoing personality and loves spending time outdoors with her family.
Jessica is an administrative assistant whose specialty is scheduling any treatment needs. Jessica's ability to treat every patient like a friend, and infectious laughter give our office an upbeat atmosphere. Her enthusiasm is beat only by her helpful attitude and dedication. Jessica keeps us all laughing, and ensures every patient leaves with a smile.

Great office staff, very knowledgeable and always helpful. The dentist was very upfront about all treatment and nonjudgmental. They work with an amazing anesthesiologist if needed and everything was as stress free for my kids and I. Thank you!

While Dr, Blowing is an amazing dentist, his staff ruin his office. This has not been the first time that they have not given us basic human consideration when it come to where we live, and don't care if traffic ties my hands. We travel in from Briar, a 45 minute drive, and his staff love to snidely say that we should be arriving five minutes early than we do, no matter what time we arrive. This time they canceled my child appointment, after calling me to check if I was coming in, five minutes down the road. Not even getting all the way inside the staff tells me they already cancelled our appointment and if we'd like the reschedule. As if! I'm sorry Dr Bowling, we love you and are sorry that your rude staffing has made us look elsewhere for a pediatric dentist.

My husband took our daughter here to get some dental work done. He nor I were told prior to her appointment that he was not allowed to be in the room with her during her procedure. That was a hard NO for this momma! I am not okay with that. He was told this is typical protocol because "the children do better". That could be typical protocol, this is our oldest child and her first dental procedure. However, I was highly upset we were not advised of this prior to her visit. With everything going on in this crazy world today- I definitely don't feel comfortable with my 6 year old daughter being half sedated, alone in a room with a grown man. So just a heads up to all you parents, ask the protocol on being in the room with your child during their procedure.

We chose Lone Star Smiles for a second opinion. So thankful we did! The staff is amazing!!! I wish I'd caught the names of the two wonderful women that took care of us. They were so kind to my little boy & I. They knew my 1.5 year old was nervous and scared, and they did everything they could to assist in helping me keep him comfortable & calm. So appreciative of this office!

It went from a great dentist to this horrible office. The staff are rude. Especially the front clerk. I am sorry my usual dentist passed away. Dont bother even going. Expect to wait for at least a half an hour regardless of how many people are there.
