Receptionist was great, young lady who did x-rays on 11-2-2022 was great. On 11-3-2022 Taylor and Dr. Monts did the root canal and did a great job as took care of it and no pain. Taylor explained everything they were going to do and Dr. Monts showed me what he did. Will definitely use them again if needed.

Dr. Monts is amazing and made me feel so comfortable about the whole experience. While I don't wish a root canal on anyone, if you do need one i highly highly reccomend you go here!

Had a root canal done here. So, if you ever had one done then you know it's not enjoyable, but this place was really good, they're very prompt and professional, Dr. Shenoy was excellent. Highly recommend this place for dental work.

Extraordinary experience for a root canal! Shots almost painless. Clear communication of what is happening and about to happen. Dr. Monts, Taylor and Lupita combine great bedside manner with competence. Front office perfect in scheduling and insurance filings. No surprises.

The receptionist welcome me , she was very pleasant. Also Dr. Shenoy was very professional and he did an awesome job. I am so happy with the end result and he managed to save one of my tooth . His assistant she was so sweet . Dr.Shenoy explained the procedure in detail and walk me through everything. I am so happy I found Dr. Shenoy. Highly recommended.

Knowing you are needing a root canal is not a pleasant thought. However, during the initial consultation with Dr Monts, I was confident that I could endure the process. As expected my experience was without any pain or stress even though it took approximately an hour all total. I'd definitely recommend using Lonestar Endodontics for major dental services.

Modern root canals are painless compared to 5 years ago. I would total recommend Lonestar Endodontics. In and out same day and able to go back to work/life with minimal pain.

Praising my endo dentist Dr Monts for resolving an issue I was having with a previous root canal. The care was spectacular including his assistant. The pair worked like a team, listened to my concerns, and resolved my issue taking three visits to insure it was completely resolved - including sealing up the tooth afterword so that no additional problems occurred. Highly recommend 5 stars.

I'm a physician, but a nervous dental patient. When Dr. Neal Shah of Austin referred me to Lonestar Endodontics for a root canal consultation, I was NOT looking forward to the procedure. I drew Dr. Monts, looked him up online and read the reviews, traveled an hour and a half for the consultation, then returned for the root canal. It was worth it. My experience was comfortable and pain free from start to finish (and didn't take very long, either). The staff (Angela, Taylor, others) were uniformly friendly and professional, explained things well, and guided me through what turned out to be a very good experience with nitrous oxide. Dr. Monts himself was thorough, professional, and complete with his explanations as he moved through the very efficient procedure. I guess that comes with, as he said, doing nothing but root canals all day, every day. It shows. IMPORTANT: Follow post-procedure pain instructions carefully! My procedure itself was EASY as root canals go, but the tooth & jaw pain over the following week was substantial! So long as I followed Dr. Monts's post-procedure medication recommendations to the letter (larger than usual doses of ibuprofen and acetaminophen every six hours), there was little discomfort, but the pain returned when I strayed from the regimen. (It is MUCH easier to prevent pain than to stop it with non-prescription meds once it starts.) I suspect that endodontists a few years ago would have prescribed reasonable doses of hydrocodone-acetaminophen (Vicodin or a similar medication), a very effective, safe-as-directed narcotic, but current (and often silly, in my MD opinion) public near-panic over drug abuse has put physicians of all kinds (MD/DO, DDS and even DVM) under so much outside scrutiny that they often can't prescribe CLINICALLY as they wish for pain control. That's unfortunate (and not the doctor's fault).

Had a great experience here with Dr. Monts and his assistant Taylor. First of all I was worked in the same day. Taylor made me feel very comfortable in preparing me for the procedure. Dr. Monts walked me through what was going on and what he was going to do step by step. I had a very positive experience here. Also the front end staff was very welcoming.

Needed a root canal and heard good things about this practice. The front desk were friendly and efficient. Dr. Monts and his staff were attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I appreciated his explanations and descriptions of the procedure and his patience in answering my questions. I also received a coupon for a free smoothie at a spot around the corner. It was a very thoughtful touch, considering my mouth was numb and it was lunch time. Kudos to whoever came up with that idea.
