Dr. Marty Montgomery comes from a family where all the children were drawn to dental careers early in life. His brother operates a dental practice in Tennessee, and his sister is a dental hygienist in Texas. He completed his residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, specializing in pediatrics. But his favorite sport is indulging in family time with his wife and partner, Rachel, and their two boys. He has a heart for dental mission work and treated patients in Nicaragua in 2008, offering dental care needs to the people in that region that never would have received any due to the extreme shortage of dental providers throughout the country. She also loves being in the company of her nieces and nephews, as well as unwinding in the splendor of her familys ranch in South Fork, CO. She is a Diplomate and member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and a member of the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (TAPD). We have gone to Loan Star pretty much since they opened the location in Copperas Cove. It wasn't until here recently that we began to experience issues with communication. I've been trying to schedule my daughter a crown for the last 6 to 8 months. I've called with no answer, I've left messages requesting a call back with none returned, and when I did finally get someone they for some reason can't answer simple questions and take a message but I never receive a call back. I'm worried that this laps in time will ultimately result in my daughter's tooth having to be pulled instead of just getting a crown. If it wasn't for the lack of options on braces we would take both of our daughters somewhere else.

My daughter Alyssa (Lucy) was nervous but we was blessed to have Dj I believe that what her name was. She made my daughter so comfortable and at ease. We would love to have her everytime we go. Short: Rude, inattentive, not following covid protocols despite working with mostly unvaccinated patients. Long: Started using this dentist when they first opened. My very first experience with them, they were nice but they had on these headsets and instead of talking to us were talking to each other about what to order for lunch and such. It was a basic check up, so it wasn't a big deal, just a minor thing to note. I appreciated that at the beginning of covid they stated they were following covid protocols, but when I arrived they weren't actually enforcing that people wear masks. At one of my appointments it was just us & one other (unmasked) family - they put us right next to that family instead of spacing us out, even though the room was otherwise empty. Their dividers are only a few feet high, and don't extend to the windows, so a couple of the unmasked little kids kept running around the divider to our side, and I could both see and hear the little boy on the table screaming and crying as he got his teeth worked on. It was pretty unnerving. The last time we went there no one was wearing masks, not even the staff, despite no vaccines being available for kids under 5 yet. There was an insurance mix up, and I offered to just pay cash so we could get the appointment done, but they still made us sit in the lobby for over an hour while they tried to resolve it. I finally made a same day appointment at another dentist and left this place. So glad not to have to deal with the rude staff who don't seem to actually care about the health and safety of their young patients.

The wait time is very long regardless of appointment. Paperwork is repetitive regardless of how many times you fill it out. It is done electronically and the website does not load any information, have to refresh multiple times and they do not provide wifi to complete form. They do not provide any entertainment for fussy children, waiting room was packed with kids. They do not provide masks either and they are required. Be prepared for a long wait with a bunch of fussy kids. But once your in the providers are great
