Dr. Mike Wood received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky and is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Dr. Wood practiced in Shelbyville, Kentucky for one year before returning to his hometown of London, Kentucky. Since joining Dr. Mayes in 1995 Dr. Wood continues to focus on quality dentistry performed with the utmost care and compassion. Dr. Wood's patients routinely comment on his gentle touch and likable chair side manner. Dr. Wood enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is committed to staying abreast of the most promising developments in dental treatment and technology. Dr. Wood participates in several hours of continuing education yearly in order to learn new skills and maintain the highest degree of competence in all areas. Dr. Wood especially enjoys the dramatic smile improvements available to his patients through cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Wood is currently a member of theKentucky Dental Association,and the American Orthodontic Society.
My mission is to provide compassionate and comprehensive dental care, while always putting my patients long-term needs first. I will always allow my patients desires to be a major consideration for ultimate dental treatment, and I hope to exceed the expectations of my patients while alleviating and eliminating any dental fears my patients may have. I want my patients to find a dental home for their entire family. Having extensive knowledge and experience in treating both pediatric and adult patients, Dr. Greg Binder has received advanced training in a variety of dental services, including restorative dentistry, root canals, crowns, bridges, implant restoration and dentures. Dr. Binder received his Bachelor of Science from Eastern Kentucky University, and then went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky. The dental professional has previously practiced dentistry in Somerset, KY, for six years. Originally from London, Dr. Binder is happily married to his wife, Janet, and together they have two children, Alex and Lucas. In his spare time, Dr. Binder enjoys spending quality time with his wife and kids, who are involved in multiple sporting activities.

Her easy hand is the reason for her immense popularity with children and adults or anyone with a fear of dentistry. Dr. McGeorge is a 1994 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where she was awarded the top honor for restorative dentistry, the most prestigious award. She frequently takes continuing education courses to keep abreast of new techniques and technology in dentistry. Her artistic abilities enable her to create the most beautiful smiles and cosmetic dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Kentucky Dental Association, the Southeastern Kentucky Dental Society, and the American Orthodontic Society. During her spare time she can be found enjoying the outdoors with her Scottish Terriers, reading or playing the piano.

Wonderful staff. Also very humble. I am so thankful they got me in. I had been in pain for over two weeks and was to a bad point with my mental health. I'm no longer in pain and I can finally eat hard foods again. So thankful I found them, and thankful for all the other reviews that gave me the confidence to trust a new group of people with my teeth. Highly recommend this team.

I havent been to a dentist in almost a decade, so I had quite a few cavities. I was scheduled for two separate appointments, each one week apart. I was worried about the whole process, but I realized after the first appointment that I shouldn't have been worried at all. Greg and Sarah were quick, efficient and professional. London Dental Center of Excellence has gained a life long customer :)

I never dreamed that I would one day say that I didn't mind going to the dentist! But that is my new reality. The team there is just great and Dr. Bender is great at what he does. I had lost an old filling. They got me in quickly and got that filling replaced and out in a short time. The whole process was easy and painless. Even the numbing shots were painless! I highly recommend them.

Dr. Wood was very caring and sit down and explained exactly what was going on with my teeth and a solution. However that was the roughest cleaning that I have ever had since I've been coming to London dental !

Dr Wood is awesome!!! Going to the dentist has been an issue for me since I was a child and had a horrible experience. Dr Wood introduces himself and explains everything before he acts. I will continue to see Dr Wood and if you want a caring dentist, you'll see him too!!

It's hard sometimes to be professional and personable. But London Dental Center does both. Having some Bridge work done and I'm very pleased with how it's going. I would highly recommend them for all your dental needs.
