Practicing since 1996Dr. Howard Lomax Graduated from Lamar University in 1991 with a Bachelors in the Science of Psychology. Pursuing a career in dentistry he graduated with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, TX in 1996. Right out the gate Dr. Lomax was eager to begin his career and began practicing in the areas of West Houston and Katy. Dr. Lomax is a current member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. 2001 Dr. Lomax completed his requirements needed to obtain his Dental License in Arizona. In his spare time Dr. Lomax enjoys serving as a mediating doctor on the Northeast Houston Peer Review Committee. He is a member of the Hygiene Advisory Committee Lone Star College. He also participates in their annual dental convention as host and class captain. He has served as a dental consulting dentist for United Concordia and Cigna from 1999-2003.
In August of 2004 Dr. Lomax married the love of his life Lori, together they opened his current practice in March of 2009. 2009 was the year of blessings for the Lomax family as they welcomed their first-born son Colt into the world in December. Three years later they would also welcome their lively daughter Jordan in the summer of 2012. Lori works as a hygienist part-time here at Lomax to devote more time to spend with her children. Dr. Lomax enjoys volunteering to coach his childrens soccer team from time to time.
