Dr. Lohmann has built the reputation among his patients for proficiency at his profession and his gentle caring style. Therefore, a primary goal of Dr. Lohmann and his staff is to put patients at ease and deliver excellent dental care in the most relaxing and comfortable manner possible, so they will continue to care for their teeth.
A long-term relationship with a professional and competent dentist is ideal for oral health, as case familiarity provides continuation of care in a logical and preventive manner. Dr. Lohmann grew up on Long Island, NY. He attended Duke University in North Carolina and later moved to Atlanta for post-graduate studies at the Emory University School of Dentistry. After gaining his degree in Dentistry, Dr. Lohmann served in the US Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In 1986, Dr. Lohmann decided to return to Atlanta and chose the mid-Atlanta area as the location for his practice.
Amongst his many interests, Dr. Lohmann finds being active in his church and playing bridge to be two of his favorite activities. He is quite an accomplished bridge player and has achieved the status of Diamond Life Master.
My purpose is to provide gentle dental care so you can achieve healthy teeth and gums for a lifetime. I will listen and understand your particular concerns and insure they are addressed. When interested, I will address your cosmetic options so that you can achieve the cosmetic improvement that is right for you.
I have used Dr Lohmann as my dentist for the past 12 years. He has a very warm personality and a very pleasant staff. I had veneers in the upper front and he did a great job. If you hate going to the dentist you will change your mind after visiting the practice. He appears to be well connected to specialists in all areas of dentistry.Would definitely recommend.
I went for my regular checkup and really liked the new hygiene tech.Ive been going to Dr Lohmann for more than than 4 years and really have had great pain free dentistry. The location in Buckhead is easy to find and has plenty of parking.Dr. Lohmann is a great dentist.
Fred is an Atlanta native. He attended Georgia Tech and earned his Bachelors and Masters degrees at Georgie state, where he later taught in the late 80s. The bulk of his work experience has been in the computer industry and has also worked in finances. In addition to his job as the Financial Officer of Lohmann Dental, Fred has also been a long-time patient.
Kellie is a southern girl at heart and a Georgia native. Kellie received her BS in Dental Hygiene at Clayton State University and has been practicing since 2009. She has built a loyal patient base and continues to build it from patient recommendations. Kellie stays up to date with all the latest and best education to provide the best, gentle and thorough care to all her patients. Kellie is a dedicated mother and wife to her husband and two small children! She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the gym and cheering on the Falcons and Dawgs! She and her husband are in the process of making improvements to their soon to be forever home that they purchased this year.
Holly has been active in the dental field for over 12 years. She started as a dental assistant and soon became passionate about dentistry and continued to further her knowledge into front office management.
Carli works by Dr. Lohmanns side as his assistant. She has a passion for dentistry and the goal of making each patient feel comfortable during their dental procedure. Her enthusiasm and attention to detail have been welcomed and appreciated by patients throughout her 10-year dental career.

Update: it has been 7yrs since my first review and I wanted to update my review to share the awesome experiece that I have had at Dr. Lohmann's office. I highly recommend Dr. Lohmann and enjoy talking to his friendly staff. They make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I'm a very satisfied patient for more than a decade! 7 years ago: I was there last month for my regular 6-month check up. The office is convenient, and the people are excellent. Dr. Lohmann is a very nice and caring dentist. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Lohmann and his staff are compassionate, proficient and engaging. I have always gotten wonderful care at reasonable cost. His hygienist, dental assistant and office staff work well with Dr. Lohmann to deliver an amazing dental experience. I have been a client of theirs for 20 years and they have consistently exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a dentist, I definitely recommend this practice.

My experience with Dr. Lohmann over the past 20 years or so has been excellent. He is a very experienced, 30 years or more, general practice dentist with in house teeth cleaning by a a very experienced person. When specialized work is required such as implants, he has highly rated specialist to refer me to. Within the past two years I broke a tooth and required an implant that went extremely well. I recommend Dr. Lohmann for regular dental appointments for cleaning and x-rays as needed.

I recently came in for cleaning which was painless and thorough by Kelly. The office is always clean and well managed and wait time is minimal. Dr Lohmann has previously made minor cosmetic repairs at little or no cost. His specialty is dental health, repairs, and cosmetics. He recommends extremely good specialists such as for root canals and implants. I would recommend Dr. Lohmann to everyone. He's been my dentist for almost twenty years since I moved to Atlanta. Going to my dentist is not only just taking care of oral hygiene but also visit friends. Everyone is extremely professional as well as friendly.

dr. lohmann is simply the best. he's the only dentist who realized i had "accessory nerves" and he is still the only dentist ever where i never felt pain. his prices are fair and better than most. his communication skills are great and he can explain procedures well. i now won't go anywhere else unless he makes a referral for me to an oral surgeon. is staff is friendly and very capable. i give them top ratings.
