Welcome to Logan Peak Dental! Since March 2010, our dentist and team have provided patients of all ages with quality dental care in a comfortable and relaxing environment. Your oral health, comfort and smile are our top priorities, and when you visit our practice, we will go the extra mile to help you feel at ease and have a positive experience while achieving your smile goals. We offer a full range of services and will work one-on-one with you to help you understand your treatment options and create personalized treatment plans for you.
Dr. David Gordon is one of Cache Valleys native sons, growing up at the foot of the beautiful Wellsville Mountains in Mendon. Dr. Gordon graduated from Mountain Crest High School in 1996 and served a two year mission for the LDS Church in London, England. Upon his return from England, Dr. Gordon enrolled at Utah State University where he met and married his sweet wife, Mindi. The Gordons have five beautiful girls and two boys. Dr. Gordon loves golf, good food, music, anything outdoors-y but his truest happiness comes from spending time with his family.
EducationDr. Gordon received his Bachelors degree from the University of Utah, graduating with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Gordon completed his dental training at The University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Dr. Gordons dental school training emphasized excellent clinical competency and only the highest quality of dentistry. Through his training Dr. Gordon became proficient in comfortable and predictable restoration of teeth to proper function and beautiful form. Since dental school Dr. Gordon has completed implant placement and restoration training at the Whitecap Institute.
Jill is our office manager. You can expect to see Jill working tirelessly to ensure all of our patient have the best experience possible. She is the friendly face at the front desk, and you can always expect to see a Diet Coke by her side! Her favorite part about work is meeting and a developing a friendship with our amazing patients. She is a Cache Valley native and graduated from Mountain Crest High School. Jill and her husband, Brandon, live in Providence and enjoy spending time with their six children, two granddaughters, and Beau and Hank, their Goldendoodles. They also enjoy starring in their YouTube channel, DIY Love Life.
Laurie is our financial team lead/coordinator. She is extremely knowledgeable with all things financial and works hard to get you the most out of your dental benefits. She is extremely positive and hardworking, and she has the most giving heart around. Laurie grew up in Oregon surrounded by many exotic animals. At one point, her family even owned a rhinoceros! She is a Weber State alumna. She is an amazing baker, and we love when she brings us treats! She also has the greenest thumb around! Lauries absolute favorite thing in the world is being a grandma! She loves spending time with her 10 grandchildren, her five children and her husband.
Emily is our social media specialist. She is a native of Cache Valley. Emily graduated from Ridgeline High School, where she was a cheerleader! Her outgoing personality and cheerful disposition are just a few of the things our patients loved about Emily when she was our first impression specialist! Emily recently became a mom of a beautiful little girl, Summer! She and her husband enjoy spending time as a family, being outside and supporting their younger siblings. Emily loves being social and connecting with people, and she also loves sunshine and all things pink!
Shaena is our clinical team lead. She is from Cache Valley and graduated from Mountain Crest High. She attended Utah State University and graduated from Fortis College in Salt Lake City with her dental hygiene degree. She NEVER slows down! She is the Energizer Bunny and loves to stay busy! Shaena married her husband, Tyson, in 2016, and together, they welcomed their first little girl, Sawyer, in the summer of 2021. Shaena is a fitness fanatic, and she loves baking and being outdoors. Mostly, though, she loves being with Tyson, Sawyer, and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Wren.
When she was in high school, she went on a humanitarian mission trip to Guatemala at an orphanage assisting with dental work, and her goal is to do many more trips just like it! That trip inspired her to make dental work her career. She graduated from Weber State University in 2016 with a bachelors in dental hygiene.
Sophia was raised in Georgetown, Idaho, in the Bear Lake Valley. She is the oldest of six kids and enjoyed a childhood full of outdoor adventures. She is married and is the mother of four adorable kids! Her family enjoys spending time outdoors as well as enjoying movie marathons at home, all cuddled up on the couch. Sophias favorites are musicals and all things Harry Potter. She earned her associate degree at Utah State University and continued her education at Weber State University, where she earned her degree in dental hygiene. Sophia loves all things related to dental hygiene and has truly enjoyed applying the things she has learned to helping her patients connect the dots of the things she sees in the mouth to the overall health and systemic conditions in her patients.
Alma is one of our dental assistants. She attended Kaplin College in California, where she received her assisting certificate. Alma moved to Cache Valley in 2017 and has been working here ever since! Alma is currently attending Fortis College in Salt Lake City and will be graduating with her degree in dental hygiene in the Spring of 2024. Alma loves spending time with her two children and visiting her family, both in Mexico and California. She is a lover of coffee, spicy food and sour gummy candy!
Sophie is one of our dental assistants. She is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and has recently moved to the Logan area for school. She is the oldest of four kids and loves to learn. Outside of work, Sophie loves to go to hot yoga, spend time with her family and friends, go hiking, run, and listen to all types of music! She comes to work ready to help in any way and genuinely loves getting to know each and every one of our patients! Sophie loves jewelry, the color blue and Mexican food.

As someone who does not usually like the dentist, this was a great experience, they make sure you are very comfortable, and are very open about information regarding your teeth condition

Best patient care of any dentist office, ever! Dr. Gordon has gotten the buy in from his entire staff. They all, every single one of them, actually care about the experience you have in their office. It's rare and really cool to see.

My husband and I saw Dr Gordon when his practice first opened about 12 ish years ago, I assume shortly after he began his dental career. We have had nothing but trouble for the last decade with the teeth that he worked on. That totals 5 molars extracted between my husband and myself. The problem? Crowns not properly cemented, pins left in roots and a retreat because the roots were not properly cleaned. The issue is not proper hygiene or regular dental care- we take good care of our teeth. The issue is his work. No other teeth have had problems- only those worked on by Dr Gordon. Find a different practice or the passage of time will hurt your mouth and pocketbook.

I've visited dentists in several countries and Logan Peak is the first one offers unique experience - I got to enjoy watching Netflix while getting dental work done, feels good with clean teeth and great time spent!

I absolutely hate visiting any dentist. But it's a necessity and I keep going back to Logan Peak because they do a good job. They offer small amenities to make your visit a little better such as water, diffused oils, music, and watching Netflix. Finally, my mouth doesn't usually feel like it's been mauled by a bear after they do the cleaning. Definitely a plus.

Disappointed... they cancelled my husbands appointment just because he didn't call back. Well he works graves and this was communicated to them when we schedule the appointment. NOT COOL!!

I had my first Dental Visit today! The nurses were amazing and so helpful and very welcoming! Dr. Gordon is the best Dentist I have ever been to! He is very fast and efficient and also really listens to what is going on with you! He is giving me my smile back and I am so thankful and grateful for his compassion to help others! I would give this a 1000 starts If I could!

Jill was friendly and prompt at the front desk. Shaena was kind and gentle while she cleaned my teeth. Dr. Gordon was professional and genuine. They each treated me like family and made the experience comfortable! They also took great care of my young boys. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Let me start by saying that I'm probably one of the most difficult patients to sit in a dental chair. That being said the doc was humble and professional and never lost his cool with me despite a very tense moment. He went on to do the work and I'm very happy to report that not only am I happy with the work but the doc and I are friends now and I trust him. That's a very exclusive list to be on. I have to say also that over the years I've sat in many dental chairs and oral surgeon offices and I have never received a more painless shot of novacane in my life. The assistant who did it was amazing. Dr Gordon at Logan peak dental is my new dentist.

I attended a free dental day event they were holding. Im not only enternally grateful that they held this event but I was treated so well. I was needing a extraction. I was actually really really scared cause ive never had a tooth pulled before but they explained everything to me and answered all my questions. The 2 little pinches of the numbing shots is ALL the pain I felt. Thank you thank you thank you. 10/10!

I had several implants done a couple of years ago and then we moved to Logan. My implants were quite the investment and I wanted to make sure I found a dentist whose office knew how to clean implants without scratching or damaging them. Dr. Gordon was thorough and knowledgeable and his staff well trained. My hygienist carefully cleaned each natural tooth separately and then proceeded to clean the implants with the correct tools. I know it took longer than a normal cleaning but she didn't complain or in any way indicate that it was a bother. I felt valued and treated as an individual.

Dr. Gordon and his staff took time to make sure I was comfortable by explaining a procedure in detail to me that I was very nervous about. The office staff and dental staff were welcoming and kind. I have anxiety about dental visits and they were able to put me at ease. I am so glad I found them!
