Dr. Barrie Zweier graduated from the University of Marylands School of Dentistry with a degree in dentistry in 1987, and she remains passionate about studying and growing professionally 30 years later. Dr. Zweier is continuing her education through international symposiums on the latest advancements in implants, and she is trained in laser therapy, sleep apnea medicine, endodontics, digital radiography, CEREC, orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. Her goal is to provide the most up-to-date dental care for our patients while using a gentle and compassionate approach.
A classical piano performance undergraduate, Dr. Zweier still enjoys playing various styles of music on the piano, songwriting, and singing. She also enjoys public speaking, educating her staff, and decorating and marketing her dental practice. Dr. Zweiers husband is a professor and research scientist at The Ohio State University, and she has three grown children and one grandson.
Dr. Jerry Detwiler specializes in family and general dentistry with over 40 years of experience serving the Lancaster and Logan areas. Dr. Detwiler enjoys working with children, implant dentistry and doing crown and bridge restorative procedures. Dr. Detwiler is a graduate alumni of The Ohio State University School of Dentistry.

Heather graduated from a medical assistant school and has been with our office since 2014. She is very welcoming and greets our patients with a smile. Always willing to answer any questions you may have regarding your dental coverage. Heather is married and has four children, one cat, and two dogs. She enjoys watching her children play sports, and traveling the world with her family.
Lindsay is a certified dental assistant who has six years of experience. She is certified in Radiology as well as Coronal polishing from the Ohio State University. As an assistant, she enjoys interacting with patients of all ages and strives to make their experience at the dentist the best that it can be! Lindsay has been married for 7 years and has three children. She enjoys attending her childrens sporting events and loves getting away with family.
Mary is one of our incredible dental assistants at Logan Family Dental. She helps our patients feel right at home and tries to make sure that every patient gets the best care possible. She graduated from Logan High School and got her dental assisting degree in Cambridge. Mary likes traveling, kayaking, and hiking.
Lindsay graduated Cum Laude from Columbus State Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She was a recipient of Proctor and Gambles Preventive Dentistry Award for her commitment to patient education. She enjoys hiking, gardening, painting and singing, but most of all spending time with her two dogs and her husband.
Danielle has been in dentistry for seven years. She holds a certification in Coronal Polishing, Sealant Placement and Expanded Function Dental Assisting. She specializes in the placement of restorations and is great at educating patients about dental health. She enjoys hiking, fishing and horseback riding.

I went in a year or so ago needing a LOT of work done. I was dreading it at first, but they set up a plan and were able to work with my budget. It's been a team effort, but I've never been as confident with my dental hygiene as I am now. If you're willing to put in the effort, these guys know how to save a mouth.

Always a pleasure to be at logan Family Dental. First visit back for after the pandemic and was impressed by the warmth, thoughtfulness, and attentiveness to my dental needs. Expert care, open and clear with all procedures, treatment alternatives clearly explained, and efficient careful delivery of procedures. Cannot recommend the practice enough for someone looking for thoughtful care delivered by an outstanding staff!

I had an overall positive experience, even though I had to have a tooth extracted. I was a little nervous about the appointment and the staff were very accommodating . I would say that each and every staff member that I encountered treated me so very nice and very comforting. I am very appreciative to Logan Family Dental and I will be a little less nervous when I have to return for my next appointment. Thank you , Tina Campbell

Began seeing Dr Zweier when we moved to Logan 5 years ago. She is thorough and reasonable with our dental care and offering options for treatment. Heather and Sarah in the office are great at taking care of insurance and working with our schedules for appointments. The hygienists all treat my family like their own family.

Great place! They explain everything and give you the cost of everything before starting treatment. They are willing to work with you if you can't afford the cost all at once. Great friendly staff that treat you like a friend not just another patient. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dentist.

Dr. Z and the staff at Logan Family Dental are AMAZING! From the friendly welcome you get as you walk in to the hygienist that takes you back and the doctors like Dr. Z that are there, I feel so comfortable and well taken care of each time I go. As someone who has never been fond of dental work I can say that they truly take care of you and make sure you understand everything they are doing. I've been a patient of Dr. Z since 2018 and I would recommend her and her team to anyone!! :)
