Dr. Phillip Balseca is a New York City native and a recent resident of the Lodi area, where he is excited to serve the community alongside his fiance, Dr. Natalie Delgado, and future father-in-law, Dr. Alfonso Delgado.
Dr. Balseca attended Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA where he played collegiate baseball for 4 years and achieved his bachelor of science degree in Neuroscience. He completed his doctorate of dental medicine from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. In addition to his dental school training, Dr. Balseca completed an additional year of training at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

I've been looking for a great dentist and let me tell you this was the BEST experience I've ever had. From start to finish I felt welcomed The whole staff there was kind and compassionate. Dr was amazing !!! I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for great dental care

The entire staff and the doctor are awesome! Professional, kind and made a huge difference to my life. I have been to other dentists but he is the one that resolved my teeth pain issues including correcting the past work done by other dentists. Best experience! Love each of the staff, receptionist, dentist assistants and the doctor. Easy to make appointments and the best care by all.

Finally found my forever dentist! The doctor and staff are amazing. They make me feel comfortable and relaxed while I'm there. Which is a huge plus for me because I use to get a lot of anxiety before my appointments. I would highly recommend Dr. Balseca to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Dr. Balseca, his assistant Sona, And treatment coordinator Michelle are all excellent! They work very well together and made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and in good hands! I had a front tooth emergency on my very first visit to Dr. Balsecas office. They diagnosed me and performed the procedure I needed the same day!! I was so very happy! This dentist lacked social skills,no bedside manor ! . Loud obnoxious music playing while I was trying to relax. I was shocked to receive a billI after an ill fitting denture appliance adjustment visit that should have been taken care of when I had the appliance fitted when first installed .Worst dentist I've been to.

Best dentistry I've ever had. Normally I'm indifferent about going to the dentist, but I actually enjoy my appointments here. I've had two cleanings which were painless and they gave me information about whitening which I did too. Such helpful and informative staff! Shout out to Dr Balseca, Danielle, Sana, Annie and Junior for being so helpful! Happy holidays

Omg I can not tell you how desperately I needed a root canal and in my area and other areas were book out months, I ended up getting a realy bad infection and was done with the pain and something had to be done and now!! So I woke up and was back on my google search this time typing in "emergency dentist near me" and first one that popped up was lodi family dentistry and so I click on it, loved what I read and thought what do I have to lose. The receptionist answered and immediately I could here in her voice she was compassionate so I told her my long story about my situation and she immediately asked how soon can i come in, i live a little over an hour away so so she said how about 2? I was grateful for that and booked it. Then she tells me if I can get there sooner that they would try and get me in sooner. So I end up getting there at around 115 they took me right in and the staff was so kind and once more very compassionate. The dr took a look and said we are going to get you out of here in no pain. So I signed papers paid upfront and all the while they were prepping me for the root canal. This dr was so amazing i felt no pain he was extremely attentive and finished a full root canal in under an hour and i walked out of there feeling so much relief but also sadness because this was an emergency visit and hopefully wont be back but it was such a great visit that i wish this could be my dentist office. Unfortunately they do not except medical cal. I thank the staff with all my heart what a great team they are there and they realy care about everyone who walks through that door, or as for me they started caring when the receptionist pick the phone up.

As a person who is extremely anxious about going to the dentist, I was very nervous about going to a new dentist. From the first moment I met with him for the initial consultation, he listened and was extremely understanding and patient. I recently had my first dental treatment and once again they were understanding and patient. He took his time and allowed me time to feel ready before he started. I highly recommend going to Lodi Family Dentistry.

We are out of state and on our way back to California and noticed our 6 year old daughter in a lot of pain and found out it was her back tooth bothering her. We were unable to locate our insurance information and my wife became upset and hopeless that we wouldn't be able to get our daughter in first thing as soon as we arrived back in town. She spoke to Danielle and all her worries quickly went away. Danielle calmed my wife down and addressed our needs with finding whom our insurance was ( we have a new insurance company through our employment and didn't have the cards on us) , contacting the providers, and getting the information faxed to them. She was thorough, empathetic, concerned, and accommodating. We appreciate and thank you so much for your help and kindness!
