Every patient deserves a comprehensive exam which leads to a personalized treatment plan that can be delivered at the patients pace. This allows us to look at the entire mouth as a whole rather than one single tooth. We strive to discover the reason for breakdown before completing treatment.
Having a stable occlusion prevents teeth from breaking down prematurely or being functionally unstable. We are constantly looking for signs of instability which includes cracks, leakage, wear and muscle tension.
Any treatment we provide will be held to the highest standards. The goal of our dentistry is to give the patient the best chance for longevity in their dentition. Not all dentistry is created equal, Dr. Hancock will always take the time needed to achieve optimal results.
Full or partial coverage restorations can aid in solving many cosmetic and functional dental concerns. Dr. Hancock uses exceptional dental materials to restore your teeth tooptimize aesthetics, longevity and functionality.

I have been getting some work done at Locust Street Dental the past few months. I was very nervous to go to a new dentist at first but quickly felt at ease. Dr. Hancock and his staff have made going to the dentist enjoyable. They are very attentive to my needs during the work and post procedure. 10/10 would recommend!

There are not enough wonderful things I can say about Dr. Hancock, Carly, and the entire staff. I hadn't fully smiled in many years, and after working with Dr. Hancock, coming up with a plan, and following through with them, I am like a new person with my perfect smile! The atmosphere is so calming, and I feel so comfortable. All my needs and concerns were addressed patiently and appropriately. I highly recommend if you have any cosmetic needs!

I normally don't do reviews but I was so blown away with the kindest customer service I have ever received. My family and I are moving to the state in a few months and have been looking for a dentist I called multiple dentists in the area and as soon as I said I wasn't booking while on the phone I felt disregarded until I called Locust Street Dental. Kayla spent the time answering every single question I had and was so understanding and not pushy. I felt like she actually cared about my family and our needs. I think it speaks volumes to the owner with how their staff treats the patients and the way Kayla treated me on that call was beyond excellent. We can't wait to become established at this practice and meet everyone else!

Dr. Hancock and staff are very professional, caring and friendly. Dr. Hancock is very calm, thorough and offers a care plan that is understandable and reasonable. I had two crowns done and the process was meticulously performed. The hygienists and assistants are very patient and explain every step and ensure you are comfortable through any procedure. I highly recommend Locust Street Dental!

Dr. Hancock and his staff provide a first class experience from booking your appointment through your visit. I was very comfortable during my cleaning with Carly and she was very thorough. I knew at all times not only what she was doing but why she was doing it which was very reassuring. I had to go back for a small cavity with Dr. Hancock. Dr. Hancock was very patient, took his time and was very thorough in making sure everything was perfect. I truly cannot recommend Dr. Hancock and his staff enough!

I'm no longer anxious or nervous to go to the dentist! Dr. Hancock has a calm demeanor and his style of doing dentistry is better than other dentists I've gone to. Dr. Hancock creates treatment plans with his clients... not just "patching" problems over and over again which ultimately result in more procedures and more money in the end. I'm so happy about the treatment plan that we talked about and I felt like my concerns were heard and validated. I drive 45 minutes to see him every time and it's worth it. Also, the front desk person, Patty, and the dental hygienist, Carly, are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Hancock is an excellent dentist and is meticulous with every procedure. He explains all options in advance with no pressure. His staff is also top notch! My family and I have been patients of Locust St. Dental for years. When Dr. Boyd owned it we felt fortunate to be under the care of such a wonderful person with the friendliest staff! Patty is still the face of the practice and provides continued excellence in organization and personality. Dr. Tyler Hancock is the new owner and he is a perfectionist! We couldn't get a more concerned Dr. to address our dental needs. Glad to say we will be patients for many years to come... It's very comforting to be in the hands of someone you trust.

Doctor Hancock is a perfectionist in the very best way. His attention to detail makes getting a filling, a crown, or any other work exceptionally pleasant. He cares about your teeth, remembers details about you, and most importantly, you can't feel a darn thing from getting novocaine onward. I have always had intense anxiety about dental work, but no longer. Highly recommend.

Dr Boyd and her staff are excellent at what they do and I was quite pleased when I found her and her practice. Recently Dr. Boyd sold the practice and now works there part time. I have had the pleasure of meeting the new Dentist, Dr Tyler Hancock, I found him extremely likable. He just completed putting a crown on a back molar, worst place to work, especially in a small mouth. I was very pleased with the outcome. Now having had this work done I would highly recommend joining the practice. Whether you see Dr. Hancock or Dr. Boyd you will be in excellent hands.
