Dr. Wael Zeitouni (Dr. Z) grew up in Charlotte, NC and is currently a proud resident of the Locust, NC community. He graduated from South Mecklenburg high-school. He then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and graduated in 2009 with a bachelors degree in biology. He continued his dental education at New York University College of Dentistry where he acquired his Doctorate of dental surgery. He returned to his home state for a General Practice Residency at Carolinas Medical Center. Soon after, Dr. Z worked in Charlotte as an associate for a few years. He acquired his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantology (FICOI), and Dr. Z is very passionate about keeping his team and himself up to date on advanced dental technology and continuing education. Dr. Z enjoys treating the whole family in a comforting, safe, and friendly environment. He is both the owner, and the provider at Locust Family Dentistry.
Dr. Z has volunteered in many community dental outreach projects, including the North Carolina Missions of Mercy program providing dental care to people in need around the state. Dr. Z is also a proud member of the Rotary Club of West Stanly.
Dr. Z enjoys keeping up with the most innovative technologies in dentistry, playing sports, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends. He resides in Locust, and provides the highest personalized quality dental care for his patients!
Dr. Enes Maxhuni has been living in Charlotte, NC, since 2010 with his wife and two children. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a DDS degree. He has experience in the dental field in Europe and the US. With enriched experience of 15+ years, Dr. Maxhuni strives to provide ideal dentistry tailored to suit individual needs in a loving, patient-centered environment, with comfort and a relationship of mutual respect and trust with his patients. In his free time, he likes to spend with his family, travel, and play tennis.
Meera is from Edmonton, Canada and currently resides in Locust, NC. She is currently completing a Masters in Public Administration at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Meera is the office manager at locust family dentistry. Outside the office she enjoys traveling, exercising, chocolate, and spending time with family.
Chelsea is from Oakboro, NC. She graduated from Central Piedmont Community College with her degree in dental hygiene. Preventative care & patient education are her top priorities. Outside of the office, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her husband, son & animals
Trixie is a resident of Stanly County. She graduated from Montgomery Community College in their dental assisting program and achieved further certification through DANB. Dentistry has been a passion of hers since she was young. She loves making people feel comfortable and helping them to achieve a beautiful and healthy smile. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 daughters, the gym and playing tennis.
Sydney is from Albemarle, NC. She graduated from Montgomery Community Colleges Dental Assisting program. Patient care and comfort are her number one priority. Outside of the office, Sydney enjoys exercising and spending time with her family and Siberian Husky, Kota.
Lydia is from Albemarle, NC. She graduated from Premier Dental Assisting Academy with her degree in dental assisting. Making sure everyone is as safe and comfortable as possible is her main concern. She enjoys fitness and spending time outdoors in her free time. Being part of a team that works to make sure your smile is as bright and happy as possible makes her day.
Megan is one of the first smiling faces that you see when you walk into the office. She and her childhood sweetheart Chad reside in Stanfield along with their three children Trinity, Lincoln and Wes. Megans hobbies are spending as much time with her family camping in different places.
Sherrie has served Stanly County for several years through the government. She continues to serve her community by caring for patients as soon as they arrive at Locust Family Dentistry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, hiking, and art.

Locust Family Dentistry is a wonderful group of people who are great at what they do. I am one of the more anxious individuals when it comes to dental work but after the wonderful treatment from the LFD group that is no longer the case. Dr. Maxhuni and the Dental Hygienist staff are top notch!

It is always a pleasure going to this dentist office. Never thought I'd say I liked going to the dentist, but I do! Dr. Z and his staff are amazing, friendly, helpful, and much more. Would highly recommend anyone to give them a try!

Lovely dental clinic. Very nice and organised. The doctors there placed a dental implant on my mother and she couldn't be happier. They explained in details the procedure and went over insurance coverage. Over all a smooth experience

I had a filling come out and went to another dentist. They told me they could not help me. I then called the locust dentist and with very short notice they have told me to come in. Sydney and doctor z Immediately helped me in my time of need. I would recommend this dentist office to the maximum. They were amazing. They also did the job super fast and Efficient.

Absolutely LOVE this dentist office! It's taken me a while to really find a dentist I actually feel comfortable going to. Dr Z knows what he's doing, the experience was pain free, and he works with you to deliver the best results possible! Trixie was also super friendly and a great assistant in my procedures; I really enjoyed talking to her! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a permanent dentist and the best experience possible, everyone here is amazing!

I have never liked going to the dentist...if fact I could say I procrastinated when it came to my dental care. When we moved to Stanfield I started going to Locust Family Dentistry. Dr Z and his staff are the best!!! Thanks for "crowning" me today. Didn't feel a thing!!!

At Locust Family Dentistry they are definitely committed to having a calm environment that eases their patients during their visits. Dr Zeitouni & Dr Max both have a great beside manner that makes you feel heard. They have helped me achieve my teeth goals and I could not be happier. My every 6 month recalls are always something I look forward too.

Love this place! Very professional and know exactly what they're doing. I've been looking for a good dentist for a while after a really bad experience with a different dentist. Wael is great in answering questions and concerns, he will advise on what is the best methods for your teeth.
