Dr. Mesia is originally from Peru. He earned his Doctorate degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Florida in 2006. Along with his formal education, Dr. Mesia focuses on continuing education through advanced courses on implants and new dental technologies and techniques with renowned educators such as implant educator and Sarasota implant study club, to bette serve his patients. Dr Mesia is passionate about this profession. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Associations. Dr. Mesias hobbies are working out and spending time with his wife and sons, Daniel and Tommy.
He currently works at both our locations in Sarasota and Bradenton. He has teamed up with his wife to provide the best care for his patients. Their mission is to understand each patients dental needs on an individual basis and provide them personalized care that meets their dental needs and exceeds their expectations. The goal of this couple as dentists is to provide patients with a great dental experience in a painless and professional way. Originally from Colombia, Dr. Gonzalez moved to the Sarasota-Bradenton area in 1999. She started her career as a dental hygienist, then earned her advanced degree Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Florida in 2004. After working in a very respectable private practice in Sarasota, she teamed up with her husband Dr. Juan Mesia and started her own practice, Dental Care Solutions at Lockwood Commons. Dr. Gonzalez has a reputation of helping patients achieve their dental goals in a compassionate and personalized way. She constantly seeks the latest and best methods and techniques through continued education. She is certified in Invisalign clear aligners and Waterlase laser technology.

I searched a long time for a good dentist -- one who was professional, caring, with an efficient staff who would not try to push added services like sleep aids for TMJ, cosmetic fixes, etc. So happy to find Dr. Gonzales! Now we've been going to her for several years and always get great service.

!0-22-2020 I was in a great deal of pain and I had given up on keeping my tooth so I was just looking to get it pulled. My insurance had sent me a list of Dentist's That they worked with and Lockwood Commons Dental Care Caught my eye because of all the great reviews so I read a few, virtually all of them were five stars.. I decided to go with Lockwood Commons Dental Care. They were a wonderful choice. They saved my Two Teeth and also did some great reconstructive work on my front teeth. I now have the teeth that I had in my twenties. It is a great feeling to have a great dental office that you know will take care of you when your having dental issues. I would just like to say Thank You to the whole staff at Lockwood Commons Dental Care. It is nice to have a great smile again, Sincerely Vinnie

What an amazing experience! Everything about this office is pleasant. It's clean, professional, friendly, honest, knowledgeable, calming, the list goes on. They have a great team who takes care of you from the moment you step foot in the door until you walk out. This is coming from someone who has never enjoyed going to the dentist. The experience from booking, appointment check and cleaning was easy. The staff is very friendly. The office is extremely clean. Our entire family goes here. My son 4.5 had a great experience. He wasnt afraid as they explained to him what's going on. I am so happy we choose Lockwood Commons Dental Care.
