Dr. Albert P. Cavallari is a lifelong resident of Western New York. He grew up in Amherst, NY and attended Canisius College where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Biology in 1981. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1985. While in dental school, Dr. Cavallari was the recipient of several awards for academic and clinical excellence including the Delta Sigma Delta Award for Excellence in Operative Dentistry and an induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He continued his education for two more years of specialized training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University at Buffalo and received his Graduate Orthodontic Certificate from the School of Dental Medicine in 1987.

His professional memberships include Lockport Dental Society (Past President), Niagara County Dental Society (Past President), Eighth District Dental Society, New York State Dental Association, American Dental Association, North Eastern Society of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Cavallari takes pride in the fact that he has been able to mentor many interested high school and college students over the years in his office, many of which have gone on to attend dental school and orthodontic programs. Dr. Cavallari is also a Clinical Instructor in the Orthodontic Department at UB School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Cavallari has been in the private practice of orthodontics in Lockport since 1987. He feels very fortunate to be able to come to work every day and not only do something that he loves, but also to be able to make a difference in his patients lives. He finds it extremely rewarding to see the change in confidence and self-esteem as a new smile is created.

Financial Coordinator/Scheduling Coordinator Mary Jo joined our orthodontic team in December 1990. She has experience in all aspects of the office including financial, insurance and scheduling. Mary Jo finds it very rewarding helping patients build confidence in their smiles. She was born and raised in Lockport. She is happily married and has two grown sons. In her spare time, she is very active in her church, enjoys reading, knitting, painting and gardening.

Scheduling Coordinator Tammy came to our office in June 2004 after 15 years experience in a general dental office. She finds the orthodontic field extremely rewarding because she gets to see such great smiles from both patients and parents. Tammy was born and raised in Wilson. She still resides there with her husband, Gary. In her free time, she enjoys quilting, gardening, camping and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her son Brandon, her granddaughter Mari and daughter-in-law Tara.

Certified Dental Assistant Mary started working for Lockport Orthodontics in 1978. She works with patients, does lab work, orders supplies and does sterilization. Besides being very knowledgeable in the dental field, she has a keen memory of names and faces. Mary has three sisters, four brothers and many nieces and nephews that she spends time with when shes not at work. Mary enjoys reading, gardening, walking and bike riding.

Certified Dental Assistant Heather has been part of our practice since 1996. Heathers smiling face greets each patient as they enter the operatory and she is always willing to expand her dental knowledge. When she is not at work, she enjoys shopping, cooking, walking and vacationing with her husband and four children.

Certified Dental Assistant Jennifer was an assistant in a general dental office for four years before joining our practice in 2001. She enjoys working with and getting to know our patients. She is cheerful, knowledgeable in all aspects of the dental field, a quick learner and is an excellent assistant. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and her favorite TV shows, but most of all spending time with her husband and three boys.

Insurance Coordinator/Dental Assistant Carrie joined our practice in June 2003. Her smile and upbeat personality provide a fun and positive experience for our patients. In the office, you can find her working with patients, taking records, handling insurance, and helping wherever needed, Carrie lives in Niagara Falls with her husband and three daughters. She enjoys being a softball mom, watching movies, shopping and just spending time with her family.

Dental Assistant Darlene joined in June 2011. She has been working in the dental field since 2004 and is excited to have joined our office. She enjoys all aspects of the dental field and is always eager to learn. Her sweet personality is very welcoming. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and two grandsons.

Taylor is the newest and youngest member of our orthodontic office. She graduated from ECC in May 2017 and started with us in July 2017. She is excited to have joined our team and is looking forward to working with all of our patients. She currently lives in Wilson and when she is not working, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends and planning her 2019 wedding!
