I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning and an exam several weeks out. I even called to confirm the appointment, and the receptionist confirmed that the appointment was for both a cleaning and an exam. When I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment, I completed their questionnaire within a few minutes. They then kept me waiting for 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Finally, after 40 minutes, I was called into one of the rooms to complete an exam with one of the dental hygienists. After completing the exam, I was informed that the doctor would be with me shortly. I then waited patiently as minutes turned into hours. Finally, after another 2 hours of waiting, the dentist, Dr. Ung, finally entered the room to review the results of the exam. Following the review, she informed me that my teeth look good and that I should schedule an appointment for a cleaning. I immediately told Dr. Ung that my appointment was for an exam and a cleaning. Dr. Ung then told me to just reschedule for another date. So, after more than 3 hours at Lockeford Family Dental, all I had to show for it was confirmation that my teeth were fine. What a complete waste of time.
