Dr. Manny Lamichane grew up in Toronto, Canada, following the Maple Leafs, Raptors, and Jays and working in a variety of part-time jobs while studying away for university. Halfway through his Actuarial Science degree, Dr. Manny started a small business and realized he enjoyed interacting with people much more than crunching numbers. After finishing his degree at the University of Western Ontario, he embarked on a pathway towards dental school and graduated near the top of his class at the University of Toronto in 1999 with his DDS. He then moved to Boston, completed a hospital residency at the Brigham and Womens Hospital, and joined a private practice in the Boston suburbs. He also joined the Oral Medicine department at Harvard, teaching residents and practicing as a hospital dentist at Massachusetts General Hospital.

After a few years, he decided to go back to specialize in orthodontics and earned his Masters in Medical Science at Harvard. It was there that he met his wife Sara, a Lancaster native and dentist who was also training at Harvard, and they had their first child Juliet in Boston. Upon graduating, the Lamichanes moved to Manheim Township and Dr. Manny joined LOA Orthodontics. They had two more children Maya and Pierce and became very active in the community through the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, the Lancaster Conservancy, and St. John Neumann Church.

Dr. Manny equally enjoys teaching and learning and lectures at Harvard, Hershey Medical School, and has trained orthodontists in digital orthodontics in both the US and Australia. He also is the President of the Lancaster Dental Society. His grand vision coming out of residency was to operate a group practice providing the very best in clinical care with a highly dedicated team of professionals who enjoy orthodontics and helping people. Practicing in Lancaster and watching his family, the practice and the community grow and thrive has been an absolute dream come true for Dr. Manny and he plans to keep creating smiles for many more years here!

Dr. Tim Snyder was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA. He became fascinated with orthodontics after being a patient himself and experiencing the positive impact from his new smile. He immediately set his sights on becoming an orthodontist. After completing his undergraduate degree at Millersville University, he attended Temple Universitys Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he graduated near the top of his class. He then attended a 3-year residency program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicines Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics where he received his certificate in the specialty of orthodontics.

Dr. Snyder moved home to be close to his family and friends and began his career as an orthodontist in Camphill, PA. Grateful for his time at Pitt, he maintained his engagement with the Orthodontic department by working as a part-time clinical faculty member. Shortly thereafter, he joined LOA Orthodontics in 2013. Dr. Snyder is passionate about his craft, he loves attending continuing education courses and staying current on all of the advances in technology, orthodontic literature and techniques. He has advanced training in Suresmile and Invisalign along with years of experience applying these technologies to solve extremely difficult orthodontic problems efficiently. He loves working in a group practice and feels very fortunate to have such great colleagues and business partners to share ideas and continue to grow and improve the patient experience at LOA. Dr. Snyder is a people person who loves interacting with and serving his community. He works his hardest to provide you and your family a beautiful, healthy smile to be proud of!

After moving to Lancaster, he met his wife Melisa. They live in East Hempfield and are the proud parents of their son, Quincy and their dog, Baxter. They are very active in the Lancaster community and on their off days, you can find them hiking, traveling or spending time on Lake Raystown wakeboarding.

Dr. Kristin Connors was born and raised in Lancaster, PA and graduated from Manheim Township. From the time she was in middle school and had her own braces she knew that she wanted to be an orthodontist! It is the perfect combination of her love of science, attention to detail, and passion for helping others.

A lifelong Nittany Lion fan, Dr. Connors received her bachelors degree in Life Science from Penn State University. She then went on to earn her dental degree from the University of Maryland. Dr. Connors completed her masters degree and specialty training in orthodontics at the University of Colorado. After enjoying all of the adventure that the Colorado mountains had to offer, Dr. Connors was thrilled to move back to her hometown of Lancaster to put down roots and to serve the community that has given her so much.

Dr. Connors feels very fortunate to have joined the exceptional LOA team. In addition to treating patients at LOA, she spends time at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic treating children with craniofacial conditions. Dr. Connors is dedicated to providing high quality care in a fun and nurturing environment. She loves building relationships with her patients and seeing their confidence transform throughout treatment.

Outside the office, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, hiking with her dog, dancing, and spending time with family. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association. She looks forward to meeting you and to creating beautiful smiles for all of her patients!

I am actually not a client here; my daughter has a different orthodontist. She got an expander this week and within the first 24 hours I lost the swivel key, which is, if you don't know, the tool I need to turn the expander daily as I was instructed to do so it can do its job. I stopped by our own orthodontist office and apparently they are closed today. And it's Friday which means by the time they open we'll have missed 4-5 days of turning the appliance. So I called LOA to see if I could get one from them. They didn't even hesitate! They didn't even charge me. That tells me that they really do care about patients. Thanks again!

I would give this place a higher rating however some staff members are inconsiderate when it comes to the comfort of your children when doing work in their mouth. My 8 year old needed to get more brackets in her mouth to help with straightening her teeth. When placing the cheek speaders in and placing a suction piece that attaches to them while INSIDE her mouth my daughter was in complete agony and pain. She kept tensing in the chair trying to push herself away. At one point she made cry in pain and started crying. This went in for a good 5 MINUTES!!! No apology never asked if she was okay she just said "oh you're fine." I had to get up and be the one to help her through it all her mouth literally was bleeding on the inside after it. Her gums are cut open top to bottom. And her mouth is so sore. Thank you for traumatizing my child for future visits. And to think that morning she was so excited to go cause she always thought it was fun. NOT ANYMORE!!!! I even made comments she's crying and I see blood in the suction. Completely ignored. I hope we never get that assistant again that's for sure. I'll be lucky if she doesn't cry the entire time at her next visit out of fear. Shame. On. You.

LOA Orthodontics treated both of my kids and we were so happy with both experiences! My daughter gets anxious when it comes to dental work...and the LOA team made her feel completely at ease! The office is filled with brilliant and kindhearted professionals and they have created such a FUN environment for their patients! Our experience was so successful that I decided it was my turn after both kids were finished with their treatment plan! As an adult with braces (and an adult who also has anxiety when it comes to dental work!)...the LOA team was wonderful when it came to exploring my options and listening to my concerns! I have wanted straight teeth since I was a young child and I'm SO happy that I made the decision to move forward with it! All three of us were treated by Dr.Manny Lamichane and he was fabulous! We also had the opportunity to see Dr.Wentzel, Dr. Snyder and Dr.Connors...and each doctor brought the same level of professionalism, attention and warmth to every appointment. This level of service (and FUN!) was provided by all LOA team members...from the front desk to the orthodontic assistants! In addition to being really good with their patients, the LOA team sprinkles their kindheartedness and positive energy throughout our community by giving back to many local non-profit organizations and events to help make our world a better place! I HIGHLY recommend LOA Orthodontics!

It was absolutely phenomenal, as a man who doesn't like to leave reviews this one deserves it. Great service, options, understanding. The staff is impeccable. Very good chance I am switching to this as my main dental office.

I have no idea why I see five starts . I was a patient with them some time ago. When I first saw all, all of them meaning associates they said the outcome would be wonderful teeth will be straight.Well I have news for you now time passed and its not wonderful I just saw a dentist they told me I need more work also asked if I had any braces. I said yes this being said they are telling me I need teeth pulled out and other drastic stuff. You guys should be ashamed of yourself with this outcome. Maybe I should sued "LOA Orthodontics". LOA Orthodontics are not worthy.

As a 59 year old who endured teenage braces MANY years ago, I was so disappointed when my teeth shifted over the years. Life long retainers were not common years ago, so the straight teeth I enjoyed as a young adult gradually gave way to misalignment. I wouldn't have considered braces again but, after consulting with Dr. Connors at LOA, I decided that Invisalign would solve my frustration and give me straight teeth once again. The year of treatment flew by and the professional care from the entire LOA staff made it easy. Even with COVID-19, I was able to safely continue treatment and finish up. I'm thrilled I made this decision and greatly appreciate the high tech approach offered by LOA and Dr. Connors. I highly recommend their service and will enjoy my smile for years to come.

I got my braces here and I loved it. It was way better than any other place I went to. The staff are very nice and caring. It is not expensive to get braces or Invisalign. They are very gentle and have high tech technology.

We just completed our third child's orthodontic treatment with LOA. As always I cannot say enough about both the level of care as well as the exceptional staff treating my children. As a hygienist I have referred many patients to LOA for their orthodontic needs because of the personal confidence I have with the doctors and entire group. At LOA the end result is always excellence they all go above and beyond to be sure if it!! It is bittersweet to be done because I will truly miss of of you , Thank you again for making our smiles beautiful

Absolutely fantastic! My 8 yr old loves this place! Staff is super friendly and caring. They have that special touch my daughter needs whenever she gets work done in her mouth. They treat my kids like their own and I am grateful for that. Very flexible with payment options and no credit checks! They let me pick what I could pay every month. What???? We picked up my daughters retainer for invisalign and this very sweet girl taught my daughter how to put them in and out. I wish i remember her name but i was overwhelmed with her kindness and patience with my daughter. Definately taking my oldest here when my youngest is paid off!

I've been embarrassed by my crooked teeth and smile since I was ten years old. My parents felt my teeth were fine, so I didn't have braces like all my friends got back in the 70s. Then I had children as a young adult and we spent our resources on raising them...including braces. At age 54, I decided it was finally my turn! I visited LOA and decided on Invisalign. The orthodontist and staff that worked with me on my 18-month-long orthodontic adventure were personable, thorough, and answered all my questions knowledgeably. I just had my attachments removed today and I couldn't be more happy with my smile and my confidence level. I often covered my mouth when I smiled big because of my overbite and crooked teeth. At age 56, I'm happier with my smile and my appearance than I've ever been before! This was time and money well-spent. How can you put a price on confidence?! I highly recommend LOA and Invisalign!!!

Outstanding practice. Latest technology, great office setting, outstanding one on one support, even during this time when their office is not able to see patients on site.

I was very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy they exhibited in the treatment of my son. They also made the tough part for parents, the payment, an absolute breeze. Made awesome arrangements to use my FSA funds! ! Thank you LOA for helping my sons smile and my family.

They are very conscientious and super caring of my daughter and her teeth. The orthodontist came out in the rain to give me an update in my car.
