Dr. Merchant completed her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Southwestern University where she was a member of the Alpha Chi National Society and TriBeta Biological Honor Society. Afterwards, she went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, graduating in 2010. During dental school, she was part of the Omicron Kappa Epsilon Honor Society and was selected as one of five students to be part of the Baylor Honor Program. She also participated in dental mission trips to Mexico, Guatemala, and Nicaragua.

Dr. Merchant completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, Louisiana. While there, she expanded her knowledge in complex treatment planning, sedation dentistry, full mouth reconstructions, dental implants, and advanced surgical techniques. Devoted to keeping up with the latest advancements in the dental industry, Dr. Merchant maintains active memberships in many dental organizations and is currently studying toward earning a Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry. She continues to give back by participating in both international and local dental mission trips. Dr. Merchant has served over 8 years in the Air Force and is currently a Major in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. She continues to serve our country by providing dental exams to deploying troops at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Ft. Worth.

Known for her big heart and caring nature, Dr. Merchant truly enjoys helping people overcome any fear or anxiety they have about the dentist. She takes the time to understand their concerns in order to tailor their treatment plan for a stress-free experience. Her oldest daughter is special needs, and she truly enjoys working with and treating special needs patients.

Dr. Danahy completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences at Texas A&M University where she was a member of Gamma Sigma Delta Honor Society and received the Senior Merit Award, the highest recognition given by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Texas A&M College of Dentistry (formally Baylor College of Dentistry). During dental school, she was a member of Odontologic Dental Society and Omicron Kappa Epsilon Honor Society. At graduation, she received the General Dentistry Program Award which represents excellence in all areas of general dentistry.

She also participated in dental mission trips to Panama and Jamaica with Global Dental Brigades and Christian Medical and Dental Association. She truly believes in giving to the community and providing healthcare for those with little access. Dr. Danahy likes to remain involved in the dental community as well and is active in many organizations. She is currently studying to earn a Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Danahy believes in the importance of communication and takes the time her patients need to feel comfortable and understand their treatment. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Danahy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and learning about new things!

Ashley has spent five years working in dental care. She is passionate about dentistry because it allows her to interact with her patients and see the positive impact that a healthy, beautiful smile brings to their lives. Ashley has been married to her husband, Mike, for six years, and together they have three wonderful childrenLance, Kayleigh, and Logan. When Ashley is not at the office, she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family, and taking care of her animals on the farm.

Tawney has been in the dental industry for 16 years. She chose to be a dental hygienist because it allows her to be a positive influence on each patients oral and overall health. The most rewarding aspect of her job is seeing her patients leave the office with confidence in their smile. Tawney and her husband, David, have been married for 20 years and have three beautiful children togetherLogan, Caleb, and Braden. As a family, they enjoy spending time at the lake, visiting with friends and family, and being involved in the First Baptist Church Forney community.

Mandyhas been in the dental industry for 12 years and has wanted to be a dental hygienist for as long as she can remember.Mandys love for dentistry began when, at 9 years old, she assisted her father in his dental practice. Although, shes not sure how much help she actually was at the office, the patients she saw left with full goodie-bags, much to the hygienists dismay.She loves caring and connecting with patients to help them look and feel their best.Mandyhas been married to her husband, Andrew, for 15 years and they have four sons.Mandyis originally from Colorado, but most recently moved to Forney from Germany four years ago, and is loving being a part of the Forney community. When not at the office,Mandyloves to travel, watercolor, socialize, play soccer, and anything crafty.

Kila has been a dental assistant going on six years. She gets joy out of helping patients gain confidence through restoring and maintaining their dental health. Obtaining experience at a pediatric office and a general dental office, she has assisted with special needs children to highly anxious adults, which has only cultivated her love of dentistry. Kila and her husband, Luke, have been married 9 years and have two amazing children-Charlotte and Finn, along with the recent addition of two bonus kids, their nephews-Mason and Guy. Coming from Minnesota and Wisconsin, Kila loves being a military wife and going wherever the Navy sends them.

Sophia grew up in Forney, TX and graduated from North Forney Highschool. She then went on to dental assisting school. Sophia feels dentistry is her passion and she loves helping patients feel confident about their smile. She been assisting for almost 3 years now and her goal is to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed in the dental chair all while seeing the start to finish treatment process. Sophia is happily engaged and has a cute chiweenie puppy named Prince.
