Dr. Lloyd has been practicing in Riverton for over 20 years. He grew up in the south end of Salt Lake Valley and is glad he was able to return to the area to work and live. He grew up knowing that he had an interest in the sciences and particularly in the health-related fields. He had many influences in the field of dentistry and these role models helped him come to realize his desires to help others in this profession.
He attended college at BYU and graduated from the University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry in 1996 with honors. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Utah. He worked downtown for a short time before relocating to the area that he calls home.
He is the father to two smart, beautiful young women and two active, inquisitive young men. He loves sports of all kinds and he and his wife are happy to be able to take in all that Utah has to offer.

We went to Dr. Lloyd for almost 20 years (until we moved to Arizona), and he is a wonderful, honest dentist! A few times he advised us that we needed to brush a particular area more thoroughly because a cavity was beginning to form. Other dentists would have just filled these "cavities," but he did not. With improved brushing, these at risk areas healed up and proved to be just fine. In the almost 20 years that Dr. Lloyd served our family of 8, he never found any true cavities that needed to be filled. If you want a friendly, cheerful, conservative, TRUTHFUL dentist who will only fill cavities that are truly beyond hope, look no further!

I consider myself very blessed to have found such an amazing, HONEST dentist lol. Honesty is the best policy, and this office is very good at abiding by that. They will forever have my business.

Great dentist. Im terrified of the dentist and just had 2 wisdom teeth pulled and it was one of the better experiences Ive had at the getting teeth pulled. Fast, friendly, overall great dentist!

Great dentist When I was 9 years old I chipped my front tooth in a biking accident, he was able to make a good cap that has been in place for almost 16 years! Great guy! Won't go anywhere else

Everyone in Dr. Lloyd's dental office is so friendly and professional. This was our second time to visit this office and we were pleased both times. Dr. Lloyd explains everything as he does it and tells you interesting things about your teeth. We are very glad that we chose to switch to Dr. Jon Lloyd's dental office.

Great dentist When I was 9 years old I chipped my front tooth in a biking accident, he was able to make a good cap that has been in place for almost 16 years! Great guy! Won't go anywhere else

I had been going to the same dentist all my life but since he was a pediatric dentist when I turned 18 I had to go to a new one. I was pretty nervous but they got me in really quick were super nice helped me with the transition. Dr. Lloyd is incredibly nice and explains what he is doing as he goes he answered all my questions without me even asking them. I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist.

I really enjoyed my visit with Dr Lloyd. The office is very clean and modernized. The staff was very professional and very knowledgeable. Dr Lloyd took his time and explained everything to me. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.

My family has been going to Jon Lloyd for years and we love him. He is wonderful at being gentle & calming. He is great with my kids. I love that he isn't one to push unnecessary things. He provides excellent care.

Amazing dentist... very thorough gentle and willing to satisfy the patient. I.e. willing to credit the work he just did building up a tooth, if my real tooth under doesn't hold up, and I end up needing a bridge or something. Also great to work with on a payment plan if need be. Best dentist in a long time!!
