Being a general dentist, it is important to be involved in continuing education of all kinds. I attend both local and out of town seminars and conferences regularly. Dental technology moves at a fast pace. It is important to attend continuing education to keep up with the latest advancements in order to provide the best care possible for my patients.

I was born and raised in the Quad Cities and graduated from United Township High School in 1996. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Biology at theUniversity of Illinois Urbana-Champaignin 2000 and earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine atSouthern Illinois University School of Dental Medicinein 2004.

The Quad Cities community is very important to me, and it is a pleasure to be able to give back to the community through dentistry. I have served as a board member for theRock Island District Dental Societyand served as president for the 2011-2012 year. I participate in several charitable efforts such as the Give Kids a Smile Program, Bethany Mobile Dental Bus Clinic program, and the Christinas Smile program associated with the PGA tour and the John Deere Classic.

My wife, Catherine, and I have been married since 2006. We have two beautiful daughters named Ella and Emmy. In my free time I enjoy exercising, playing basketball and golf, and watching movies. I am also an avid fan of my alma mater, the Fighting Illini.

I'm married to my high school sweetheart and we have one son. He's the light of our world and when I'm not chasing him around, I enjoyanything that has to do with fitness, as well as spending time with my dogs, watching hockey, and trying everything I find on Pinterest.

I work one-on-one with our patients of all ages to improve and maintain their oral health through regular cleanings and dental hygiene education. I have worked at LJ Dentistry since 2005, and in that time Ive gotten to know many of the families in our community. I enjoy the personal interactions I have with our patients and knowing that I am making a difference in their oral health and confidence. I love working with both Dr. Lemon and Dr. Jackson because they truly are caring and compassionate with their patients. They always put our patients needs first.

I am happily married to my husband, Mark, and we have a wonderful son named Zeb. I love spending time with my family and friends and enjoy attending my sons sports events as well as motorcycling and riding our ATV.

For over14 years Ive helped patients improve and maintain their oral health through cleanings and other preventive hygiene services. I joined LJ Dental in 1997 and have enjoyed getting to know all of our patients and their families. Our doctors are both so talented at the dental care they provide and are great with our patients. Its obvious that they love what they do!

Ive enjoyed working in dentistry for the past 20 years. I especially enjoy being able to laugh and smile with our patients and make sure they have a positive dental experience. I focus on teaching our patients about their oral health, and providing them with outstanding care. I look forwarding to meeting new people, hearing all about their lives, and developing strong friendships with them and their families.

My career as a dental assistant began over 30 years ago and Ive been a proud member of the LJ Dental team since 1994. I enjoy the personal interactions I have with our patients while creating an efficient and pleasant environment for them. I also really appreciate the expertise,skill, andhigh level of care that our doctors give each of our patients. In addition to my work here, I have also been a dental assisting instructor in the Quad City area since 2004.

After completing the dental assistant program at Dental Assisting Technologies in 2007, I assisted at my first office for over 9 years before moving to an office on the the Illinois side of the river. I was lucky enough to be hired on at LJ Dentistry in early 2017. Since then, I've had the pleasure of helping our patients in all aspects of the practice. I assist Dr. Jackson with all procedures that are performed in the office and from time to time, you'll see me up front helping with your insurance/financial needs.
