Dr. Rami attended the University of Detroit Mercy, where he graduated with a bachelors degree in biology. Dr. Rami then went to dental school at Temple University in Philadelphia, where he excelled in all aspects of dentistry. Early in his career, he worked for an implant specialist who mentored him in some of the most advanced dental cases. Upon graduation, he won an award for his exceptional work with implants and crowns.
Dr. Rami then completed a dual residency at the VA hospital of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. The residency allowed him to receive advanced training in dental implants, root canals, sedation, sleep apnea treatments and many other areas of specialized dentistry. Dr. Rami was fortunate to have served the VA community and all those that help protect our country and allow us to live safely.
He is extremely thankful to have been mentored by some of the most experienced and sought-after specialists in the dental community. Dr. Rami hopes to bring this level of excellence to Michigan. Dr. Ramis mission is to raise his patients expectations.

I had cleaning to do at Livonia Smiles Dental Center on 3/16/2022, Connie did great and professional job. I was very happy. Now Dr Rami is always there to cheer you up. I don't want to miss the ladies in the front office, they are awesome. Thank you for your good work. See you again soon

Walk in the door and the staff greet you with smiles and just make you feel so comfortable. Dentist walk's up to me and says come on back and What's make you feel comfortable and at home like you were part of the family

Called as a new patient trying to make an appointment spoke to a very rude woman named Johnny I had to call back to get her name because she hung up on me when I asked her her name never say goodbye very condescending and unprofessional not a good experience for a first time customer. Maybe some people should not be in customer service if they can't be nice to one another....... After I gave her all my information and she hung up on me I called back to ask her name she told me it was Johnny I thanked her for a time and hung up the phone. 5 minutes later she called me back to tell me with an attitude your ID number is not going through do you have another one another one maybe you put it in wrong I'm not sure but no I don't have another one I said you are so rude I would like to talk to a supervisor or manager she said yeah okay whatever and hung up on me.......... Who is this person on your front line representing your company hello something's wrong........

Nice staff but really bad work. I went there in march for broken crown end up doing some fillings. I was so in pain after the fillings I asked them and they told it is from ur Wisdom tooth, so I took it out and still in pain I came back and told I needed a root canal coz the x-ray was showing this. My mouth just not normal after I went there. My fillings seems not normal I can still feel them. So disappointed

Tooth cleaning was good and the front office team was good. Filling has come out couple of times within one day.The filling before this was lasted for more than 12 years. Then recommended for a crown, and was put on. The estimated cost to me was not even told in advance. Even went couple of times for the basic alignment of the crown. With the crown not feeling like it is normal. Need to go again within few weeks since it is not allowing me to bite anything with the crown. Seems like the crown measurements were not taken properly.

After 35 years having my now retired cousin as my dentist, i hoped to find a comparable practitioner. Dr. Rami Essak is a great dentist. Thorough, expert and adept in many techniques, he offers a variety of options that are need based . Very patient driven and totally acessable.
