After earning her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree in 2007 in Libya, Dr. Hana Gadalla pursued additional education in maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, and implant dentistry over the next 3 years before coming to Michigan. Knowing the critical importance of communication,
Dr. Gadalla attended the American Language program at Ohio State University before pursuing her specialty education in periodontics: a Certificate of Fellowship in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry from the University of Florida. She completed her periodontics residency at the University of Detroit Mercy, has been a Board-Certified Periodontist since 2016, and is certified to provide IV sedation.
Dedicated to helping people overcome gum disease so they can have a healthy, complete smile, Dr. Gadalla has been in private practice as a periodontist since 2016. During this time, she has also worked as a part-time faculty member supervising 3rd and 4th year dental students and teaching phase 1 periodontal treatments and treatment planning.
Committed to the research that helps provide the highest level of care with predictable treatment outcomes, Dr. Gadalla has had her research published by the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration. She is a sought-after speaker and lecturer and has received numerous awards throughout her dental education and career as a periodontist.
Enriching the lives of others is important to Dr. Gadalla. Through volunteering in research projects, working at community clinics in both Libya and the US, and teaching the Arabic language to Ohio summer school students, Dr. Gadalla hopes to have an influence that will be felt for years to come in the form of healthy smiles and in helping others learn something new.

The quality of Livonia family smiles is excellent. But don't overlook the entire staff without question, they make you feel comfortable, all are kind, and personable, they put a smile on my face each and every time. I have never felt so relaxed at any other other dentist office before. Now I can smile all of the time.

I had a deep teeth cleaning. I tell you I left out very satisfying. The best Dental is Livonia on Farmington near 6 mile. Thank you for my white teeth!

My experience with the associates at Livonia smile was comforting. Dr.gadaula checked on me at home, professional with wonderful bedside manners, Dr Askari very pleasant,patient explained everything. Christine the hygienist who cleaned my teeth always brightens my day . What a sense of humor. And last but not least , ms. Seema the receptionist always warm , always remember your name very informative a great team.

First of all there's different Livonia smiles dental offices, I went to the wrong one. This location is horrible, in process in being remodeled, they all stand around the little desk area and no one greets you until you make a sound to get someone attention , No one knows how to operate X-ray machine . I never got a chance to see the dr. , I walk out to lack of experience with the assistant knowing how to operate X-ray machine . There no privacy in any of the one . Do not waste your time at this place.All the front desk people need to be train to be more professional and stop being so rude when interacting with patients. Horrible place for sure.wow reading these reviews, I hope they gave these people discounts, it sounds like a different place. Really!!!

This is a terrific dental office. Keisha was warm, welcoming, competent and very helpful. Seema was very friendly and knowledgeable. Reba was competent and informative. Christina is the best hygienist you can hope for. Dr E H is supportive, attentive and gentle. Thank you to all of you.

I've had problems with my crowns and my bite with my prior dentist I went to Livonia Family Smiles Dr Ascari she is doing an excellent job and correcting several issues I would recommend her keep up the good work. Doc. The entire staff is great
