Dr. Pouyan received his bachelors degree in Neuroscience from UCLA. He went on to receive Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the prestigious New York University School of Dentistry where he finished a two-year Faculty Practice Honors Program.
He then completed a residency at Columbia University and St. Lukes Hospital (NYC) with focus on dentistry under general anesthesia on adults, children, medically compromised and disabled patients. He followed that with another residency program at the Veterans Hospital in Sepulveda, CA where he served as chief resident with emphasis on root canals, oral surgery and implant procedures.
He has incorporated this advanced education along with his caring personality into his delivery methods of dentistry, guaranteeing a safe, pain and stress-free environment during each and every visit. He makes going to the dentist fun and exciting with his friendly and compassionate nature.

It comes from the Latin word docere, which means to show, to teach, or to teach to know.
