Dr. Mark Lively graduated from the University of South Florida in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He then attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he graduated at the top of his class. He was the first student to ever receive both the Outstanding Graduating Senior Award and the Pierre Fauchard Award for Outstanding Dental Achievement in the same year. Following dental school, he completed an additional two-year orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville, becoming a specialist in the field of orthodontics.
Dr. Lively has been in private practice since 1990. He moved from Tampa to Martin County in 1993 in search of the perfect place to raise his family. His other goal was to establish a small, comfortable, hands-on orthodontic practice. He found everything he was looking for and opened his practice in downtown Stuart, nestled on the property of the historical Owl House on the St. Lucie River.
Lively Orthodontics is centrally located in Stuart and provides outstanding orthodontic treatment for children, adolescents and adults. The practice sees patients from Stuart, Palm City, Jensen Beach, Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Port Salerno, Hobe Sound, Tequesta, Jupiter, Palm Beach, and Lake Okeechobee. With additional training as a specialist in orthodontics, his practice is limited to diagnosing and treating patients in need of orthodontic care.
Dr. Lively is active in his community, currently serving on the Board of Directors for Character Counts for the United Way. He has also served on the boards of the YMCA, Seacoast National Bank and Success by Six. His wife, LaDonna, has served on the board of the Martin County Red Cross, was the Volunteer Coordinator at Hidden Oaks Middle School, and volunteers at Martin County High School. She also served as PTA President at Bessey Creek Elementary School. Dr. Livelys boys have been actively involved in the community through the Martin County Chapter of the Red Cross.
Over the years, Both Dr. Lively and Lively Orthodontics are grateful to have received many awards in recognition of commitment to community. Some of those awards include the 'Business Person of the Year Award' from the Palm City Chamber of Commerce, the 'Business of Character Award' from the United Way, the District 5 Award for Outstanding Citizenship and Philanthropy in Martin County, and the 'Pillar of the Community Award', for his 20-year commitment to the Adopt-A-Class Program. Lively Orthodontics has also received multiple 'Outstanding Community Business Partner Awards' over the last 22 years from local schools. Dr. Lively believes that he and his family are blessed to live in such a wonderful community, and both the Lively Family and Lively Orthodontics are committed to giving back to the community in any way they can.
Dr. Lively is married to LaDonna, his high school sweetheart. They have three boys: Jesse, Nick and Matt. Oh, and we can't forget their dog, Lincoln. When Dr. Lively is not busy creating beautiful smiles, you can usually find him golfing, cheering on his Red Sox and Bucs, or spending quality time with family and friends.

Our staff is highly skilled, uniquely trained and strives to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our staff members have specialized training, multiple certifications, and years of experience treating patients with the highest level of care. All of our orthodontic assistants are certified in both orthodontics and radiology. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.

This orthodontic office is AWESOME!! If I could give them 10 stars I would. The dental assistants, doctors and entire team were awesome. They were really patient and thorough with my daughter. Her situation is a bit complex, but Dr Napoli explained it in a way that was calming and fun. It's almost odd how excited my daughter gets for her appointments. I know how life changing braces were for myself, and can't wait to see the finals results for my daughter.

My sons smile turned out amazing. I went to another office who wanted to pull out 4 teeth but dr Napoli used new ninja technology that was able to accomplish a perfect smile without pulling out any teeth. He is the best

I was in braces sometime ago but recently lost my retainer. I called Dr. Lively and Dr. Napoli and they quickly fit me in and made me a new one. I have to say the staff was super professional. A very pleasurable experience.

Dr. Lively and his team is the best. It's been great experience to have my teeth straightened at his office. I love the great work he has done for me, and the professionalism of him and his staff.
