Passionate about helping her patients lead healthier and better lives, Dr. Huang educates each person about dental health and how it affects their overall wellness. She believes its important that every patient is pleased with their smile and is confident to share it. Thats why she chose to name her practice Live & Smile: she wants people to live happier, healthier lives and to smile comfortably.
Having once undergone extensive dental care herself, Dr. Huang understands why some people develop dental anxiety. Its her goal, and that of everyone in the practice, to eliminate all discomfort during visits. She wants each patient to learn that a visit to Live & Smile is a positive, even enjoyable, experience.
Each year, Dr. ZoeHuang takes hundreds of continuing education (CE) courses. She attends conferences and seminars, and participates in hands-on demonstrations and webinarsas well. This ensures that she is uptodate with the latest advances in materials, technologies, and treatments. Her patients depend on Dr. Zoeto provide them with the best possible care, and her pursuit of CE ensures their expectations are exceeded.
Dr. Zoeenjoys being active in the community, and helping to educate people about oral diseases. She volunteers in charity care events sponsored by the California Dental Association. She worked in Chicago for a few years prior to moving to California. Sheprovidedpreventive dental care to thousands ofchildren at Chicago public schoolsthroughmobile clinics.
Dr. Zoegrew up inZhejiang, China. She now lives in Dublinwith her husband and their young son and daughter. Whenshes not caring for her patients, Dr. Zoeloves spending time with her family and friends, volunteering at school and her church. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and watching movies.
Dr. Zoryana Brodsky looks forward to coming to work every day. Spending her time caring for people from all walks of life, and getting to know each on an individual levelis rewarding. She focuses on building long-term relationships with her patients, learning about their lives and interests, while addressing their dental needs.
Dr. Brodsky is passionate about preventing dental problems. Believing its essential to form a partnership with her patients, Dr. Brodsky educates each about their unique oral health situation. She then provides them the tools and information they need to be active participants in their dental health.
Each patient is important to Dr. Brodsky. She loves the stories they share and being include in their confidences. Dr. Brodsky especially likes being in a dental and orthodontic practice where she gets to care for whole families, from children through their parents and grandparents. Many of them feel like family members to her, and she is honored to be part of their lives.
Each month, Dr. Brodsky takes multiple continuing education (CE) classesin order to stay current on dental innovations and the latest technologies. She enjoys learning from the leaders in her field, as wellasinteracting with and exchanging ideas with her peers. Dr. Brodsky knows it is critical to stay uptodate, so she is readyto offer her patients the best options to address their dental needs.
Dr. Brodsky was born in Ukraine and immigrated to the United States when she was a teenager. She now lives in Dublin with her husband, Dr. Anatoly Brodsky, a physician at Kaiser, and their three children.
When shes not working, Dr. Brodsky prefers to spend her time with her family. She is involved with many of her childrens activities, and volunteers at their schools as well as with her church. Traveling, reading, watching movies, and being with friends are amongDr. Brodskys other interests.
Dr. Leung feels that dentistry offers the opportunity to positively change peoples lives in many ways. She is able to relive a patients pain and make it possible for them to eat comfortably. Shes also able to restore a patients smile and make it possible for them to once again smile with confidence. Dr. Leung feels blessed to be a dentist who can make a difference in each of her patients oral health and wellbeing.
Particularly passionate about preventing dental disease, Dr. Leung spends time talking with each of her patients about their unique oral health. She helps them understand how to develop good home care routines, establish healthy habits, and make good choices that improve their dental health and overall wellness.
Understanding that oral healthcare is a constantly changing profession, Dr. Leung participates in many continuing education opportunities. She attends lectures, and participates in discussion groups and hands-on workshops, which keep her current on techniques and technology. She has studied: Invisalign, preventive and restorative dentistry, periodontics and endodontics, orthodontics, and dental medicine, to name but a few topics.
Born in Hong Kong, Dr. Leung grew up in Alameda. She now lives in Dublin, with her husband and young daughter and son. When not working, Dr. Leung loves to spend time with her family. She feels that being with them is the best gift. She also enjoys teaching childrens Sunday school classes, and loves to travel, bake, and draw.
Dr. Stephan Yoonloves seeing his patients become healthier and happier with confident and beautiful smiles. He received his B.A. in Molceular and Cell Biology from U.C. Berkeley, where he was awarded numerous scholarships, including the I.L. ChiakoffAward in Neurobiology. After graduating, he moved to the east coast to complete his dental training at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Since then, Dr. Yoon returned to the Bay Area, which he calls home, and obtained his M.S. in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences and Orthodontic Certificate from UCSF. Most recently, he passed his orthodontic boards and has been certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
Outside of his dream job, Dr. Yoon enjoys many outdoor activities including snowboarding, hiking, cycling, and traveling. During the winter season, you will often find him on the slopes in Lake Tahoe testing his limits. Dr. Yoon has a deep commitment for volunteering and has participated in dental and orphanage mission trips in Honduras and Guatemala.

Four years ago I gave Live and Smile only a two-star rating. Although I wasn't thrilled with their service I stayed with them and I'm glad I did. Over time they've gotten to know my kids and always remember me by name when I call. They work with my schedule for appointments and make me feel welcome. The hygienists are gentle but thorough and get me in and out quickly. The dentists are equally thorough and have done a great job when I've needed fillings. I recommend Live and Smile.

Just had my 2.5YO son doing his first-time teeth examination here. I am so fortunate to find this place, everyone from the doctors to the front desk are super kind and make you feel that you are home here! My son was very calm and relaxed during the teeth brushing, even it was his first time brushing in a dental office! Super nice experience, highly recommend and yes I just had our next appointment scheduled.

Updating this because, wow, it has been 6 years since my first Live & Smile experience. I have not strayed away since. I actually ended up going through Live & Smile for Invisalign because... well, my parents unfortunately wasted their money on a teenager who lost her retainer and was not the most responsible patient with her braces. A decade and a half later, here I am paying for my errant behavior on my own hah. Dr. Yoon is fantastic. He is immensely knowledgeable and is wonderful with his patients. He has an amazing eye for the aesthetics of your smile, but also consults you on what you want and are trying to achieve. Highly, highly recommend. Some things never change, and that is a positive thing where Live & Smile is concerned. The staff are all wonderful from the front desk to hygienists and of course the doctors. They all listen, understand, and take time to make sure that you (& your irrational fears included) are comfortable and well taken care of. I went through two pregnancies while a Live & Smile patient and it pretty much feels like they are family at this point. I drive to Dublin from outside of the Bay Area, and so does my husband. Neither of us would even think of trying to find a dental practice closer in vicinity. Mostly because the bar has been set so high, and we know (sorry to the other practitioners our there) that no one can top, let alone even meet it. So, if you're on the fence -- seriously, make the appointment. This practice truly cares about you as an individual, not just someone that they can use to grow their revenue. Make it and thank me later :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, I am one of those individuals who has an irrational fear of medical and dental professionals (and I am married to a nurse, go figure). After an 8 year absence from the dentist, I finally worked up the courage to make an appointment. When I sat down in the chair I could feel my eyes water-- mostly our of fear of the unknown in regards to what problems I will be facing regarding my dental health. Dr. Brodsky was so sweet, and so understanding. She was very cautious, ensuring that I felt in control the entire time. All of the annoying questions that I had, she answered. She was very patient and actually made me feel comfortable. Thankfully I am obsessive about my home routine for dental care, and was happy to find out that I had no cavities nor any problems! Candace, the hygienist who assisted Dr. Brodsky and performed the polishing, flossing, and fluoride application for me was great as well - she was cognizant of the fact that this was my first time back and that things can be a little sensitive. I am going back for a preventative procedure as well as to talk further about Invisalign. After an 8 year hiatus, I had a successful appointment and have already scheduled my 6 month follow up. I am back on a healthy dental routine, and thanks to Dr. Brodsky and all of the wonderful people in the office (I think I forgot to mention specifically how helpful and wonderful Jenny and Briana are as well!) straight teeth again. As soon as I got back to work I bragged about how amazing Live&Smile is, and will definitely refer anyone I know to them. Thank you again, Live&Smile team, for everything!

This review goes to the orthodontics and the front desk here. Dr Yoon (the orthodontics) is super honest about his opinion and his expectations. He won't give you unrealistic expectation just to make sure that you would pay. The front desk is super nice and easy to approach. They answer your questions with great patience. After visiting here, I realized how unprofessional my last orthodontics was.

You just have to get it done and then it's off your mind for another year. Coming to see Dr. Huang all that has changed for me. I love coming into the office to see Brianna and Jenny her friendly front desk staff as well as being warmly greeted by Dr. Zoe Huang herself. Absolutely amazing. My two sons went for braces and Dr Yoon was brilliant. Briana and the other staff are always warm and welcoming, they truly make you feel at ease and treat you as if you are family. I can not recommend them enough, they really do care about the patient, not like previous experiences at other orthodontics that only seem to care about money. A very special team of professionals. In the month of November, there are so many things to be thankful for. One of my biggest blessing is I found Live and Smile Dental in my neighborhood 4 years ago. I've been getting dental care here since 2015. The front desk ladies are warm and sweet, always make me feel like a first-class VIP. They knew my name when i first walked in as a new patient! The dentists there are very skillful and knowledgeable. My hygienist, Sandra is awesome, always keeping my teeth sparkling clean. After years of waiting, i finally started my invisalign treatment with Dr Yoon, the orthodontist in February 2019. I'm a busy working mom with two young kids. I work in a health care field and I was a bit hesitant to move on to certain dental procedures. Dr Yoon is knowledgeable and very patient. He spent time with me to discuss the risks and benefits of different treatment options. He listened and addressed to my concerns and customized a treatment plan that is best for me. Within 9 months, my anterior open bite closed dramatically, and my front teeth are touching now!!! This greatly reduce the pressure and the stress on my molars on the back. I can't wait to see my new smile when I'm done next year! If you are looking for dental care and orthodontist, highly recommend you go to Live and Smile Dental and Orthodontics!

I love coming here because I always feel welcomed by the staff. They are amazing and make every visit easy for me. They are always willing to work with my schedule and I appreciate everything they do for me and my mother. They are always on top of everything and always answer any questions I have. The dentists and front staff are great and always make you feel comfortable. They are all patient and they care about their patients.
