I am lucky and privileged to be an orthodontist. With orthodontics we can enhance a persons quality of life, their oral health, and their overall body wellness, too. We see this every time we provide teeth-straightening care for an individual.
Although for many teenagers, going through braces is a rite of passage and they may not have especially positive feelings about the experience, for many others that healthy, beautiful smile at the end of treatment makes it all worthwhile. They love their new smile and they cant stop smiling; thats my greatest satisfaction and the best compliment a patient can give to me. It is also what makes me grateful to orthodontics and motivates me to continue: it gives me an opportunity to make a small difference in this world, one person at a time.
Another benefit of being an orthodontist is that I am able to build real relationships with my patients, whether theyre children, adolescents, or adults. I see them regularly during the course of treatment, so we get to know each other and I look forward to seeing them every time!
Im a firm believer in continuing education, no matter what ones profession. This is especially true for those of us in oral healthcare, where there are constant developments that result in more effective care for our patients. By attending meetings, lectures, and seminars, I am able to stay up to date on current treatment mechanics and approaches, which ensures my patients have access to proven, gentle orthodontic options.
I grew up in South America and am fluent in Spanish and Chinese, as well as English. The South Bay has been my home for the past 14 years. When Im not working, youll most often find me enjoying my favorite pastimes, which include hiking and gardening. I also love traveling, and believe there are few things better than relaxing on the couch with a good book.

We could not have asked for a more positive orthodontic experience. Dr Liu is not only extremely skilled and knowledgeable, she is also kind, patient, and personable. Dr Liu always took the time to explain things clearly and noted when things needed more attention (like flossing). She also fixed my daughter's cross bite. It was always easy to schedule appointments, and she even took out the brackets before regular dental cleanings. I would highly recommend Dr Liu. Even my husband is seeing her for his retainers

Dr. Liu is one of the friendliest doctors I've ever met. I am from out of state, and she was extremely receptive and helpful to me, even knowing that I was likely to be a short term customer. She exceeds 5 stars in every category. Her appointments are quick and easy. She answered every question I had confidently. She fitted my retainer mold within 15 minutes and gave it to me the next week. Each time I walk out with a big smile. You will not be disappointed with her service.

My son has been with Dr.Liu for two years since age 8, because of his cross bites. She is very kind and kids friendly. He had no problem getting on the program at all. I was prepared to have a battle to deal with ungappy young man. It really turned out painless. Thank you to Dr. Liu! My son went off the brace without any cavities nor any bad memories after 15 months. Dr.Liu still follows him after he is on retainers. She is very flexible to accommodate our schedules and we did not miss one day of school. Great communication and she is available by text or phone call. I am thankful to all her expertise!

Throughout this treatment of braces, Dr. Liu has been very friendly and has always known what to do when it comes to my son's braces. She continues to always make sure that he is well during appointments and she is very flexible when booking an appointment. Her prices are much lower than other Orthodontics in the Bay Area. She is a very good person and is excellent in her work. I highly recommend Dr. Liu in the Bay Area.

We Love Dr. Liu! She is personable. She is a perfectionist when it comes to the alignment of teeth! All three of my children have had their teeth straightened by her. We are happy with the final results. The office is nice, clean. Finding availalbe appointment times that work, even with our busy family schedule, is not difficult. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Liu for orthodontic care!

Dr.Liu is amazing. My daughter was 8 years old when she was referred for braces and orthodontic care. Dr.Liu explained the entire plan with us and was so kind and gentle. We had a great experience and my daughter's teeth look fabulous. I was always expecting my daughter to have pain after adjustments but she never did. Dr.Liu is excellent and we highly recommend her for your orthodontic care.

I just finished treatment for my braces which I had on for almost 3 years and now have my retainers. Through out the the whole process, Dr. Liu kept me well informed, made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Once you walk in, you will feel welcome right away. Because of Dr. Lui's friendly and thoughtful attitude, I enjoyed going to get my check ups. Dr. Lui made getting Braces a comfortable experience for me because she helped me through this major transition that I thought would never get fixed. With her constant encouragement and follow up, my teeth look good now and feel amazing. I am very grateful that now I can smile better. Dr. Liu is the best Orthodontist to make your teeth look perfect. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Liu is a great orthodontist. She is very professional but at same time very friendly and patient. She takes time to explain everything and repeat it if necessary. In every visit she would give an update for the progress of the treatment. Flexible and always considering school timetable when scheduling appointments. Quickly responds on urgent and non-urgent questions and schedule visits when need arises. The result of my child's treatment is astounding. If you need a orthodontic care for your child or yourself, you should visit Dr.Liu.
