Dr. Michael Litvaks practice philosophy has always been to create full smiles and strong profiles with the most effective and conservative treatments. He has treated many cases over the past 20 years, and given each patient a beautiful, healthy smile that he or she will have for years to come.
Dr. Litvak completed his undergraduate program at Tulane University in New Orleans, where he received his Bachelor of Science. In 1991, Dr. Litvak graduated from Northwestern University with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Litvaks formal education provided him with an important foundation to begin his work as a dentist. Through continuing education, he is able to stay on the cutting edge of current dental treatments and always offer his patients the most sophisticated treatment options.
Dr. Litvak isa native to Pensacola area,he resides here with his wife Felicia and children Natalie, Llewellyn, Liam and Gabriel.A fan of outdoor activities, Dr. Litvak's favorite pastimes include surfing, fishing, sailing, boating, skiing, and snowboarding.

I feel fortunate to be working in a career that I love. My favorite thing about dentistry is the patients: I love talking with our patients and learning about their lives. Working around so many different people, I learn a lot about the world. I also like knowing that I am able to make a difference in our patients lives by helping them maintain their oral health. I began my career in the dental feild during 2013. I have enjoyed every moment of working alongside Dr.Litvak and the rest of my team members. We are all team players, and work hard at what we do. When I am not at the office, I spend my time with my husband, two children, as well as going to the beach when I can.
I love the artistry and skill involved with dentistry, and I enjoy being around our patients every day, making them smile. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with our patients, and being there to answer any questions that they may have. I began my career in the dental feild in 2005, and have been assisting Dr.Litvak since 2016.Iappreciate working with such a compassionate, caring team of people. Everybody who works here is dedicated to our patients and our profession, and is focused on providing the best care possible. When I am not at the office you can find me doing any activity I can outdoors, or spending time with my husband and son.
I began my career in the dental field in 1998, and have spent most of my career working in many different areas inside of the dental field. My favorite part of my job is being able to help people with their oral care and I do my best to make the patients feel at ease. I look at my career everyday as a learning opportunity. I love working alongside my team, we are all team players and are always positive. I just moved to Florida recently from Colorado. In my free time I enjoy staying active by going to the beach and partaking in water activities, such as kayaking and paddle boarding. I have 3 amazing children and 1 grandson who I love spending time with as well.
I earned my associates degree in dental hygiene from Pensacola State College, and began working with Dr. Litvak's office in 2021. My daily activities at work include cleaning teeth, charting notes, taking x-rays, and giving oral hygiene advice to my patients. It is the best feeling when I get to see my patients happy in their healthy,clean smile. I love working at this office and alongside my coworkers. We all strive to improve the health of our patients and make them as comfortable as we can. In my free time, I love spending time with my wife who is a future dentist. I also love grilling delicious food and fishing on our jet ski!
I began my career in the dental field 7 years ago, and have been with Dr.Litvak's office since 2022. I help our patients byworking with them to get their claims taken care of and processed. I also handle most of our billing throughout the office.My favorite part about what I do is being able to create bonds with each patient I interact with, and help them recieve the best oral care. I love working alongside my coworkers because it gives me a sense of family unity throughout the enitre office. We all work hard together to get the job done from start to finish, which is very rewarding.When im not at work, I like to spend time with my family. We are an outdoors family for sure! We love gvoing boating, fishing, and hanging out at the mud parks.
I began my career in the dental field during 2017 as a dental assistant for about three years. I began working with Dr. Litvak in 2021 and became an insurance and treatment plan coordinator. I help patients create the treatment plans they need to improve their oral health, as well as coordinating insurance breakdowns. My favorite part about my job is making personal connections with each individual patient. I love working alongside the doctor and my coworkers because we all have a family like bond. I was born and raised in Molino, Florida. I love spending my free time with my family, friends, and my precious goldendoodles CoCo & Nash.

I had to have my dentures adjusted do to a big weight loss. Julie was so sweet and meticulous to insure I could finally use my dentures. The entire staff was warm and friendly. A great experience

I have been a patient of Dr. Litvak since I was a kid, now I am a parent with a child of my own and plan on bringing him to see Dr. Litvak when he is of age. From check-in to check-out, I have always had a wonderful experience. The young ladies that sit at the front counter always greet you with a smile, they can help explain coverage or in-house dental plans that they currently offer. Every dental hygienist I have seen has been gentle and thorough, also kind and friendly so you don't get the nervous or anxious feeling waiting for the doctor to come in. Dr. Litvak himself is one of a kind. He is so friendly, funny, and has always been aware of your comfort when performing any exams or procedures, reminding me to just motion if I feel any pain. I truly feel that he cares about your well-being and health as his patient. I can't say enough about Dr. Litvak and his clinic!

After going to a dentist who was very mean and rude to me I decided to try a new dentist, I called Litvaks office and the lady was SO kind and helpful over the phone, got me in very quick! I went in today feeling very anxious and scared and every single person was so kind and helpful. They all made me feel relaxed and assured. Dr did my root canal quick and got me out of there ! Great experience here all around! Thankyou!

Exceptional experience. I require a lot of dental work and I have had a lot completed in past, and I felt welcomed, informed, and prioritized. I'm switching the entire family to this practice due to the excellent communication and commitment to their patients. First time I have fully trusted a dental practice in all my years! I'm so accustomed to having a dentist office tell me the work that is required, rather than the "why" behind the issue, that was huge for me to actually learn why I was having the dental issues I've been suffering. Loved the dentist, his lovely wife who assisted with my questions and checkout, as well as his dental assistant and hygienist. *** update-- he did the work on four teeth in one sitting--- exceptional job

Dr. Michael Litvak has been my primary dentist for close to a decade now, initially at the suggestion of coworker. Frankly, I've never really been impressed with the way the practice is run, but everyone there is nice enough and the office is close to my house. However, an ongoing episode since December 2021 has led me to decide I will never use Litvak again, nor would I suggest others trust him either. Here's why: In December, I began experiencing tooth pain. Dr. Litvak told me I needed three root canals, two of which he would need to refer me to an outside endodontist. The first one I went to, to deal with the worst tooth, did not think the tooth could be saved and said it would have to be pulled. Litvak wanted to refer me to an oral surgeon for the extraction, who couldn't see me until March, but I got in quicker at an out-of-network provider, so that tooth was pulled in January (after three visits to three dentist, paying each one an appropriate copay, MORE to the out-of-network dentist). Fast Forward a couple months, and the second tooth starts to bother me. Litvak wanted to send me to the same endodontist who couldn't/wouldn't treat the first one and I declined. So, he sent me to a second endodontist. However, just like the first one, this doctor said this tooth (the second tooth) also could not be salvaged. Of course, the endodontist doesn't pull teeth, so he says I need to go elsewhere. That's Dentist No. 4 I have seen (and paid) for the same set of issues. One misdiagnosis is a mistake. Two is malpractice. I contacted Dr. Litvak's office again, to see if he might be able to perform the extraction (he does some extractions) or if I had to seek an oral surgeon. When I called his office, the staff person assured me he could extract it, however, she wasn't sure what my co-pay would be. After three weeks (stellar customer service, right?) they called back with a quote and we set an appointment for two weeks out. A few days later, I called Litvak to see if he would prescribe antibiotics before the procedure because the pain was getting bad again. In that conversation with a staff member, I was told that, after further consideration, Dr. Litvak could NOT extract the tooth and I would need to go to a specialist - Requiring more money and more delay! What kind of patient care or customer service is this? Smacks of incompetency, as well disrespect for people's time and health

I received a call from the office manager today 4 months after I posted my review. Felicia made me feel very uncomfortable and basically said that she doesn't feel comfortable with a long term patient who had a bad experience with them to come back. She asked me to take the review down. I barely can remember writing the review because it was 4 months ago and I felt attacked when it was so long ago. I explained that as a manager of another establishment that I understand bad reviews and I rectify the situation immediately (not 4 months later) but that I would never ask them to take a review down as it is that persons right to their opinion. I called back a few minutes later to and asked to speak with her boss and was informed that it was Dr. Litvaks wife. I've never had a problem with the dr. But after my interaction with Felicia I do not feel like it is a safe environment to return to. After reading my review she kept focusing on the payment side and insurance and the last statement says that they never contacted me any further about it, which makes me believe that she didn't fully read the review. Why would you not follow up with a patient when you are checking through their insurance to double check something and then just never call them back. She made it clear that I was not welcome to return even though I was willing to give them another shot as I like the Dr and he has always been wonderful to me. Mind you this is less than one month till my next cleaning appointment. I have been with them since 2016 and they clearly did not care enough about me being a long term patient at this point. Only cared about their ratings. Had this encounter happened 4 months ago when it was fresh in my mind of what happened maybe my opinion would be different, but I felt that 4 months later I was being attacked and being told I must take down a review that any person has the right to write to share their opinion about the experience. Reviews are to reveal the good and bad experiences someone may have with a business. Why would you ask someone to take down a review unless you are trying to hide something? It is definitely a shame as I very much like Dr. Litvak. 4 months ago review: They stated they needed to have work done on a few of my teeth. They also were inquiring through insurance about a nightguard/retainer which I've never had a problem getting through them. They have never contacted me any further even though my retainer is broken.

Amy, my Hygienist, is always friendly and does a thorough job. She never forgets my dental care package. Dr. Mike Litvak is always his professional self, with a clear explanation of the required treatment. It's fun to tease Mrs. Litvak. It's a great place for dentistry!

Hi, I want to address the inconvenient service I had to unfortunately receive while at your office for a requested refill. The doctor I saw told me I would be required to get a root canal treatment before prescribing the refill. I called again for the refill, and they accepted my appointment. Instead of asking prior, under the same name, if I had the root canal treatment done before making the appointment, I had to reluctantly hear the same repeated information to me and be additionally charged while leaving empty-handed. It would have been better advised if they had asked to make sure and never accepted to make the appointment for me, since this all now feels like an elusive scam for money that was well not worth my visit. I hope this establishment takes care to be more attentive towards their clients if they want to improve their business and so their clients wouldn't feel neglected and regretful as I did.

A chip came off the crown on my front tooth.My problem was seen as an emergency. I was put on the schedule immediately. I left with a temporary crown. Dr.Litvak & his staff are awesome.

Not sure about the doctor, but didn't get passed the office assistant. After looking for a dentist on my insurance portal, I called to make an appointment as a new patient but was informed my insurance was longer accepted. Happens! So, I called my insurance company who verified they were in-network. My insurance was nice enough to offer to call for me in case I didn't provide the right information, and apparently she hung up on him!! Have marked it in the insurance website "Doctor is no longer accepting insurance", and will find another dentist.

First visit. Teeth cleaning. Very Professional and Efficient. The cleaning was good. I am unhappy that Dr. Litvak does not take FEP Blue Dental insurance anymore. Found out when I went to get my teeth cleaned, would have liked notice before the Appointment.
