Dr. Michael Strickler is proud to be practicing dentistry in his home town. After graduating from Littlestown High School, he attended Gettysburg College receiving a B.A. degree in Biology and earned his D.M.D. degree from Temple University Dental School in Philadelphia. Dr. Mike joined his father in 1988 and eventually took over the practice when Dr. Orvin Strickler retired. Since 1988 Dr. Mike has continued to take continuing education courses related to dentistry and has maintained membership in the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and was the Littlestown Area School dentist for over 20 years.
In the community, he has served as President of the Littlestown Rotary Club, has been a board member of the Littlestown YMCA, and has served on Redeemers United Church of Christ consistory as a Deacon and an Elder.
Dr Mike enjoys cycling, running 5K races, playing baseball, and spending time with his family. His wife, Cindy, also works in the office promoting our patient experience. They have three children. After graduating Seton Hall Law School, their oldest son Porter accepted a position as Deputy Attorney General in the Attorney Generals office of New Jersey. Dalton lives in Hanover and is the father of Dr. Mikes first grandchild Jackson. Sophia is attending Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Dr. Mike is followed around by his loyal puppy Barron.
Dr. Waleed Ahmed is excited to join the team at Littlestown. Dr. Ahmed was born and raised in Wilmington, DE, and has always dreamed of pursuing a career in a Health Field. After realizing his passion for face to face patient care, Dr. Ahmed decided to embark on the long path of General Dentistry. Dr. Ahmed was accepted into the University of Delaware and graduated with a B.A. in Biology in 2016. After achieving his undergraduate degree, Dr. Ahmed moved to Philadelphia to pursue a doctorate in Dentistry at Temple University. After four years, Dr. Ahmed accomplished his goals of becoming a dentist and received his DMD in 2020.
Dr. Waleed Ahmed has spent the last year offering service to the Littlestown community, and exploring the Gettysburg/Hanover area. Outside of the community, Dr. Ahmed is big on being outdoors. He is constantly looking for new hikes to explore, and for new places to travel. Dr. Ahmed is also an avid self-proclaimed foodie. He looks forward to continuing to offer the best service possible to the local community!
Jens passion is patient care! I love meeting new people and learning about their lives. I enjoy being able to see them smile and know I really care.Jen has always had an ability to remember patients names and faces very easily.
Karli is part of our front office team but also serves dual function as our Clinical Team Leader. She does a wonderful job helping hygiene, assistants, and front office stay coordinated with each other enhancing the overall cooperation and communication within the team.
Eileen has been in Dentistry for over 35 years. She graduated from Hanover High School and received her dental training from the U.S. Naval Dental School in San Diego. At Littlestown Dental Associates, she assists patients with their insurance policies and maximizing their benefits. Patients love how welcoming and helpful she is.
Eileen enjoys spending time with her granddaughter Alice who is the joy of her life. And has recently gotten married to her wonderful husband Rick. They enjoy traveling and having new adventures together.
Debbie graduated from the University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery with a Bachelor of Science degree. She has been working with Dr. Strickler and Littlestown Dental Associates since 2011. She educates her patients about long term optimal oral hygiene, and shares with them the newest research about the correlation of oral and full body long term health. Debbie is a perfect fit due to her passion for overall dental hygiene, and meeting new kids and adults.
Alicia was born and raised in Littlestown and is happy to be working back in her hometown. She obtained her Dental Hygiene degree from Harrisburg Area Community College in 2012 . She enjoys forming a relationship with her patients and helping them improve their oral health.
Kaitlyn runs our state of the art sterilization room that was fully updated in 2020, so she often is tucked away off stage. She also assists our hygienists with charting and other duties to enhance the hygiene reservations.
Lauren was born as a twin to a brother in Baltimore, MD and raised in small town Fairfield, PA. She has 2 brothers and 1 sister. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 2013 where she continued her early childhood passion of playing softball on the varsity team in 9ththrough 12thgrade.
Lauren went to school for dental assisting in 2015 at Dental Assisting Training Schools of Westminster, MD. During assisting school she was raising her 6month old son Greyson. She really enjoys connecting with her patients and helping them achieve comfort and confidence as muchas possible!
Lauren is the mother to 2 adorable little boys Greyson and Grant. She is engaged to their great dad. She loves being a fianc, playing piano, being active outside with her boys, and spur of the moment adventures (to the beach mainly). The ocean is hands down her favorite place to escape to.
Cammy was born in Altoona, PA and graduated from Altoona Area High School. She relocated to Littlestown, PA with her husband Neal and daughter Nichole. Dental Assisting is Cammys second career. Prior to dental assisting she worked for 5 years with Hanover Direct andDelias/Alloy Apparel where she was group lead for 18 years. After her employer closed she decided to go to Y.T.I. for dental assisting. She enjoys her new career and getting to know the patients and helping them in whatever way she can. Her calm presence is a great addition to our staff.
Cammy loves spending time with her family especially her two grandsons Noah and Grant. At home she enjoys making her home feel welcoming by decorating and flower gardening. She enjoys cutting fresh bouquets to place throughout her home.
Kaylee has funspending time with her fiancJake, her family, and especially her two nephews. Her loves include watching football, painting, and going to the gym. Kaylee truly enjoys getting to know her patients and giving them a beautiful smile!

Had an emergency dental problem and getting ready to head out of town for a wedding called at 8 am had me in by 9:30 and will have me all fixed up before I need to leave for wedding. Office staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable and Dentist was great and explained everything needed completely. Price was very affordable also.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mike's for the past six months and have been very happy with all aspects of my care. Dr. Mike is friendly, efficient, and skilled. I've had multiple fillings and crowns and the process has gone smoothly each time. I'm very pleased with my dental work. I had neglected dental visits for longer than I want to admit and the entire team never once made me feel guilty or ashamed. The dental hygienist and the team that works with Dr. Mike are all very good and easy to work with. The office staff are terrific too - easy to work with in scheduling and they handle all of the insurance claims quickly.

When I tell you that the ladies at the front desks are the most compassionate, kind, and hardworking people...I came in for an emergency. My entire right side of my face was swollen, red, and on fire from an infected broken tooth. I was in SO MUCH pain. They managed to not only fit me in within an hour; they even called around offices in MARYLAND to find me an emergency oral surgeon after I needed more care/an extraction that same day. They went above and beyond the scope of their duties and had a smile on their face the entire time. The dental assistant in the back was also incredibly sweet, and was super patient with me during what seemed like the worst panic attack of my life because I was in so much pain. The dentist tried his best to numb me and extract the tooth but unfortunately it was just too painful for me-so he referred me to an oral surgeon; and the ladies up front found me one who removed my tooth at 3pm that same exact day. They got me started on antibiotics in the meantime and it's made a world of difference. I would absolutely highly recommend this office. I woke up today with a pain scale of 2/10 instead of 14/10 BECAUSE OF THIS OFFICE! I am forever grateful. My wife and I have selected Littlestown Dental Associates for our dental needs. We both had our first appointments yesterday and were very impressed with everyone we met. From the first moment we entered into the office and saw our names on the welcome board along with being welcomed by Stacie we felt right at home. We were given a tour of the entire office and even introduced to many of the staff members before our appointments. I went first for my checkup and was introduced to Alicia, hygienist and then met Dr. Mike for my exam. I must say that in all of my years of seeing dentist (every six months) I have never experienced such a thorough examination as this appointment. Alicia was very professional and kind making me aware of everything that would happen during my visit. She even ask an associate to reach out to my last dentist and get a update on my records to see if I needed a full work up on X-ray's, I did and she took care of that immediately. Choosing a new medical facility to begin a relationship with these days can be very stressful, however after our first visit here both my wife and I feel extremely comfortable having everyone being so caring and supportive to our needs. I had the opportunity to meet a patient in the waiting room, Bill who told me he has been coming here since 1970, that tells me something about this facility, I'm glad we're here now too. Again thanks to everyone here, especially Alicia and Dr. Mike for taking the time and welcoming us to their facility.

They told me procedures were covered by my insurance. Then I get a bills from them for thousands. They weren't covered and now i'm stuck paying them off!!! Your fake appoliges do not pay my inflated dental bills. which one procedure, the insurance company deemed it unnecessary and would not pay! I will never step foot in your office!!!!!

Very pleasant experience. New to area and went for first time. Entire office from Doctor to receptionist were pleasant, friendly and happy. Had teeth cleaned and need more work, but am going back in two weeks. Actually left in happier frame of mind then when I entered, and no pain! Highly recommend

In my whole life I have never been to a dentist office that I loved so much. I didn't want to leave! I was a new patient. The first thing they did was give me a tour. My hygienist (Bre) did an amazing job. She explained stuff to me and was super sweet. Dr. Ahmed was awesome. He was thorough and took his time explaining everything. I highly recommend!! If I could I would have given them 100 stars.

Called about a tooth ache and was immediately seen, something i have never experienced with a dental office before. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised to see a board with MY name on it, welcoming me. Immediately I was given a complete tour of the office and placed in a room with a gift bag for me. A few moments later, a dental assistant brought me to a room where I was quickly examined and X-rays were taken. The doctor came in and introduced himself, reviewed my file, recommended a corrective course of action and the procedure was started. At checkout, the woman helping me could not have been any nicer. I was in and out in less than an hour. Pricing was excellent. On a scale of 1-10 I would give them a 15. I have NEVER experienced such hospitality or efficiency at ANY business that I have patronized. These guys definitely have their stuff together. Highly recommend.
