I attended Baylor University for my undergraduate studies. Afterwards, I graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine and received my Orthodontic Certificate from St. Louis University. I have practiced orthodontics in the Metro East for the past 30 plus years. As a part of my continuing education, I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the St. Clair District Dental Society as well as the American Association of Orthodontists and Midwest Society of Orthodontists. I also enjoy the continuing education that lnvisalign has to offer.
The best part of my job is the fun and excitement that our patients bring into the office. Our patients bring exuberance and joy which is spread throughout the office and allows the staff and I to have fun and it puts a smile on our faces. After 30 plus years of practicing orthodontics, I still love coming to work each and every day!
In every orthodontic treatment, I attempt to maintain broad, full smiles and attractive profiles for my patients. Many borderline extraction cases at Littlefield-Ganim Orthodontics are treated with expansion therapy rather than having permanent teeth extracted. The results obtained from these treatments are very stable and show improved esthetics.
I was born and raised in the Belleville area and graduated from Belleville West High School. I love serving the people of my hometown. My wife, Cindy, and I have three children named Amanda (married to Mark), Emily (married to Drew), and Andy, and three granddaughters, Jenna, Mia, and Blaire. My leisure time is spent with my church, family, friends, or on the golf course. I am very active in the community and participate in several charitable and local organizations. I contribute to school auctions, donating orthodontic cases to help fund these schools programs, and have done this throughout my orthodontic career. I have also traveled to Paraguay many times with our church missions to promote dental care to the rural areas.

We have had an excellent experience at Dr. Littlefield and Dr. Ganim's office. My son has special needs and they have provided him with excellent care. He likes and trusts them and enjoys his visits. The office staff has been wonderful as well. They've helped with insurance issues and made the whole process very easy. I highly recommend them!

We have been very pleased with our experience. The staff is compassionate and supportive and my daughter has always felt comfortable at the office. The doctors and staff always take the time to thoroughly explain what is being done and to answer any questions.

Drs.Littlefield and Ganim are the best. Made this 49 year old feel comfortable with orthodontics. Not easy in a service mainly used by teenagers.

Two of my daughters have received care here, and we couldn't be happier. The process from referral and consult to regular visits is smooth, easy, and transparent. There have been no issues using insurance or scheduling appointments. One of my daughters needed oral surgery in addition to orthodontic care and they made sure to coordinate and make it easy to figure out with the oral surgeon's office. I have a third child coming up on the time to get braces (yes, none of my children have straight teeth) and she'll definitely use this office. I highly recommend!!!!

LOVE YOUR RESULTS OR GET PUT OUT OF HIS OFFICE.I was referred to Littlefield by a close friend who selected him as her orthodontist.However, my experience was much different from her and other reviews I read before treatment.Everything started great.Littlefield's demeanor was nice, polite,and professional.Most of his staff too!I was assured that my over-jet,overbite,and crowding could be corrected and I was told it would be easy since I had a mild case.Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied with the end results.I was unhappy with my results and still self conscious about my smile. Im preparing to get another treatment and I couldn't do it without leaving a proper review of my experience with Littlefield. I guess Littlefield became irritated,annoyed,and frustrated or maybe he was having a bad day because he stood up to say said "I'm done with you, go get another opinion." He was rude,loud, and his face was RED. I said well I did. He told me none of the doctors were qualified to give such advice once I told him what they said. Littlefield made a scene, embarrassed me, then walked away. His assistant didn't know what to do. I refused to leave until we came to some type of agreement and he refused to speak with me or refund any money paid and loudly said "get out of my office". I asked him if I should go to court since I paid money for results I didn't receive. I was shocked that this sweet polite doctor could be so rude. It was Littlefield's staff encouraged me to discuss my concerns with the doctor before the appliances were removed.I did just that.I remained calm and composed because I trusted that he would address my concerns and do his best to find a solution.He assured me that everything would look great once removed.Littlefield unexpectedly removed my braces at one of my visits. I was given retainers without being asked which I preferred.I was told I could get permanent retainers in the beginning but was informed that he no longer does them after the fact.Once the appliances were off I could see my teeth still had a flaring/protruded look to them.My bottom teeth didn't appear to be as straight as I thought they'd be.Littlefield stated that my teeth looked great and advised that I should trust his judgement.I wasn't convinced no matter how nicely he later explained.i was still self conscious about my smile.he offered to tweak a few things to improve the flare but he seemed to have forgotten while I was there once I got to my appointments.at one point he told me to seek a second opinion, so I did.THREE local orthodontists stated that I would need additional treatment for a longer period of time for improved results.I went to littlefield again to get my retainer replaced and to see what he could do to improve my results. After all My balance was paid to him in full before my treatment was completed.so I felt it was my right to insist improvement closer to my satisfaction. I struggled to find a ortho who would only replace retainers behind him. I reached back out to his office only to have my time wasted."I take my business seriously, you threatened to sue me, I will take impressions but I will not correct anything" It was as if he didn't realize how unprofessional he behaved before I mentioned refund or court. My teeth shifted further by the time I found someone. The new ortho was able to correct my bottom teeth with a spring. Unfortunately my top didn't revert back with just a retainer.

Everyone from the reception to the Drs. Littlefield and Ganim are outstanding!! They have Molly completely at ease, are always on time, and you just can't beat their friendly staff. They make us feel like family! We live 50 miles away and it is worth every mile. I would recommend Dr. Littlefield and Dr. Ganim to anyone needing orthodontic care.

My daughter is a patient here and we've had nothing but great experiences. Always prompt with the service provided and a nice and friendly atmosphere. The doctors and staff are awesome! And they have free coffee!...well until COVID happened. But even with all the health guidelines we have to follow, they've been doing a great job keeping everyone safe while still being serviced.

I was referred to Dr.littlefield/ Ganim from a friend when I moved my kids orthodontist from Saint Louis! Which the one in Saint Louis I liked, but I love these guys! I have had 4 kids go through here for their orthodontist treatments 2 of them are still in treatment.They are very Friendly & family oriented. The staff are great as well as the doctors. My kids enjoy the conversation(s) and are comfortable with the staff! They work with you in your busy schedule even with all this pandemic going on. Even the after hours are great! I would recommend them to anyone.
