Welcome to Little Smiles Pediatric Dentistry! Since 2004, our pediatric dentists and team have provided quality dental care to children in a comfortable and welcoming environment. We are dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of the children we meet, providing them with a trustworthy dental home and helping them learn good oral habits so that they can enjoy healthy smiles for a lifetime. Our office also provides a full range of treatments for children, including sedation dentistry, dental sealants, diet and nutrition counseling, and preventive care and education.
We are proud to provide pediatric dentistry in Post Falls, Idaho, and the surrounding areas of northern Idaho, including Coeur dAlene, Hayden, Kellogg, Lewiston, Sandpoint and St. Maries, as well as Greenacres, Liberty Lake, Newman Lake, Otis Orchard and Spokane Valley, Washington!
Dr. Brad Barlow earned a bachelors degree in medical biology from the University of Utah before attending the University of Iowa School of Dentistry, from which he graduated in 2002. He spent two years at Primary Childrens Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, serving children while learning special techniques, including sedation dentistry and behavior management, in order to help children feel more comfortable while they receive dental care. Dr. Barlows time at Primary Childrens also prepared him to work with children who have special needs or require care in a hospital or outpatient setting.
Dr. Barlow and his team regularly further their education in the dental field in order to continue providing excellent care to the children they meet, accruing many hours of continuing education on a yearly basis. Dr. Barlow is also a member of several professional organizations, including:
He has practiced pediatric dentistry in the northern Idaho area since 2004 and is dedicated to creating a culture with trustworthy, loyal team members who provide every patient with a comfortable, quality dental experience.
Dr. Barlow and his wife have five children, and they love spending time together and watching their family grow! Outside of the office, Dr. Barlow also enjoys spending time outdoors and can often be found fly fishing, hiking, cycling or camping with his family.
Dr. McGuire is originally from Moline, Illinois the home of John Deere. He attended Colorado State University, where he received his Bachelor of Sciences in biomedical sciences. Upon completion, he went on to Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine to receive his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. He then spent two years at Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, completing a specialty pediatric dental residency program.
Dr. McGuire previously lived and practiced pediatric dentistry in Dallas, Texas, before moving to the Post Falls area. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Outside of the office, you can find him enjoying his passion and love for the great outdoors. Whether it is camping, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, running or cycling, Dr. McGuire enjoys staying active, and his most recent hobby is woodworking!

My daughter was taken back to go to sleep. They helped keep her calm. They gave me a comfortable room to wait in. They were very patient with my daughter when she woke (she was not happy to wake up. The nurses and doctors were great! A dentist I will always trust with my kids

My son had eight cavities, with some needing the silver caps. He had to have the sleepy juice. It all went so smoothly, and we had a good experience. The only thing I'd say is that they should make sure the patients are given the proper information and pamphlets before their appointments.

The hygienist was great. I felt the dentist could have spent a little more time with my granddaughter. Overall it was a good experience though.

The entire experience was straight forward and super friendly toward my kids and myself. It didnt even feel like a trip to the dentist, but being invited as a guest to a home. Everything was explained and taken care of. As well as helping occupy my other kids while waiting. My kids are super excited to go here and talk about how fun it is. I would recommend this place to anyone who has kids.

I thought this was a great office I loved the staff the dental assistants are so kind and really explain what is happening they were great with my autistic child who has never let anyone look at his teeth before I take all 5 kids here(including foster) but I had to cancel my daughter's appt this morning due to conflict in scheduling and was told if I don't be there in past 5mins appt time all my kids can't be seen at this office so I told them no worries we will go elsewhere so please do your research and listen to the reviews

I love Little Smiles , Dr Barlow and his staff are amazing and so patient. I brought my son here when he was younger and now I'm bringing my granddaughter here. It's a great place to take your little ones.

Terrible. Do NOT recommend!!! They tried to cap all 20 of my daughters teeth!!!! She's only 3!! I'm a first time mom and was mortified & scared! The Dentist also made me feel ashamed and guilty for breastfeeding my daughter until she was two. He was telling me " there's no benefit to breast milk after 12months. " They wanted to charge me over $2,000 for this procedure. I took my daughter elsewhere for a second opinion & she only needs 6 caps. I'm SHOCKED!! These guys just want your money!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND Little Smiles.

Very friendly and truthful people. The environment is super nice to where my son is not nervous or scared and he's 3 years old, so super surprising. Lol. All around great place and great people in the office as well:)
