Dr. Lee Gherman is a general dentist, proficient in many aspects of dentistry including restorative treatment, endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Lander College where he graduated with honors. While in Landers, he did extensive summer research programs including an oral cancer research project. Dr. Gherman continued doing research while in New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated from in 2010 with honors in pediatric dentistry as well as completing the senior elective courses in implant dentistry. He went on to complete a general practice residency at New York Hospital Queens where he had extensive training in endodontics, oral surgery and emergency dentistry.
Dr Gherman is married and has 3 children, and enjoys spending time with his family, going running and hiking. His children are active in West Hempstead PAL Hockey and has many friends and family who live in the community.
Dr. Alan Rosenfeld is a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brooklyn College. He went on to Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and continued his postdoctoral training in Pediatric Dentistry at Interfaith Medical Center. By regularly participating in continuing education, Dr Rosenfeld stays current on the latest technology and dental treatments.
Dr. Rosenfeld has been practicing pediatric dentistry in West Hempstead for over 30 years. In addition to practicing pediatric dentistry, he currently manages one of the largest orthodontic practices in Borough Park, Brooklyn as well.

It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home when they come to me for treatment; and, I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.'
Dr. Miller is a specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and graduated with Honors and Distinction. He went on to do graduate research work as a Fellow in Human Oncology at McArdle Laboratory. Then, he completed his dental training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated magna cum laude. He continued his postdoctoral training in Pediatric Dentistry at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and received his Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry upon completion of a two year residency program.
Dr. Miller has been on staff at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Stony Brook, Beth Israel Medical Center, and currently at Mount Sinai Medical Center, and Queens Hospital Center, where he is department head of pediatric dentistry. He has been an attending and in private practice for over 35 years.
Dr. Miller is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Tenth District Dental Society. To remain in touch with the latest technologies and philosophies, he is also a member of a study club and continuously attends seminars and lectures regarding various aspects of dentistry.
Dr Miller has lived in Great Neck for 35 years and is the proud father of four wonderful children, Rachel, Rebecca, David, Jeremy, and two delightful stepchildren Hilana and Ariana. He also has two amazing grandchildren, Madison and Benjamin.

I feel genuinely lucky to be a patient of Dr. German. He is kind, pleasant and an excellent dentist. He cares about his patient's oral health and I would never go anywhere else even if I had to travel. The whole office runs well in fact. They are very organized with scheduling/billing and waiting times are minimal. I'm not a big internet review guy but couldn't recommend them more highly!

Clean place and environment. Wait time was immediate. The radiology tech was so nice. The hygienist was amazing from her bedside manners to her professionalism and technique. Thank you. I'll be back.

There are not enough amazing words to describe this practice! Dr Rosenfeld, dr Abettan and dr Gherman we're all involved with my son when he had a fall and injured his two front teeth. I called on a Friday at 4:30 and got calls back from Dr Rosenfeld and Dr gherman within 5 minutes. Dr Abettan met us at the office at 5:30 on a Friday! He spend over an hour with us making sure my son was examined and treated correctly. On Saturday, we needed to get in touch with the dentists again. Dr Rosenfeld was easily accessible and recommended us to an oral surgeon. He remained in contact with him throughout the morning and was involved in all decisions that had to be made. Dr Gherman, even though not the pediatric dentist, also called to check in and answer any questions. As a mother who is extremely nervous with dental procedures, they all were able to address all my concerns and treated my son with the absolute best care. I would recommend this practice to anyone... both pediatric and adult. The dentists are kind, caring, knowledgeable and easily reachable.

I needed to see a dentist for an emergency toothache, called Dr Gherman on a Sunday morning. He returned my phone call promptly. I was evaluated the same day, started on antibiotics and was referred to a specialist. Dr Gherman is excellent, very knowledgeable, gentle, caring and kind. I would highly recommend him and I will be continuing my dental care with him.

Dr.Lee Gherman is an excellent dentist. He is very knowledgeable, kind and extremely caring . When helping fix your teeth issues , he is as delicate as possible and does it with true compassion . He truly wants to help and heal each patient . The office staff is great as well. This office truly cares about their patients !

It goes without saying that Dr Gherman is a great dentist... with so many dentists to choose from, why would anyone accept less!? What makes the practice outstanding is that they care so much about their patients' experiences! From Diane at the front desk who patiently moves mountains to make sure that a patient (especially one in pain!) gets an appointment, and tirelessly unknots complicated insurance plans, to Dr. Gherman (and everyone in between) who always treats the person in his chair as.... well.... as a person! We love the practice... and we all promise to continue brushing twice a day!! :) :)

Great place to have service your teeth!!! Each time I've visited I gotten realistic determinations, fast service, and pleasant patient care. It's really tough to find that right balance of efficiency and friendliness, I've found that here.

Dr. Lee Gherman is AMAZING! He is so experienced, kind, and gentle- I would recommend him to anyone who needs a dentist. I went to the office for treatment and I did not feel the local anesthetic injection AT ALL. The whole procedure was completely painless and easy, and the doctor's work looks so beautiful and feels great. Dr. Lee Gherman and his assistant Marilyn are such a wonderful and fun team, they made my dental experience feel very comfortable and relaxed. Diane at the front desk is also very welcoming and sweet. The office is very clean and spacious, with lots of parking. Also, I got to watch my favorite TV show while my dental work was being done.

I would highly recommend Little Big Smile! They are the best! Before becoming a patient there, I hated going to the dentist, but my family and I have been going there for some time now and everytime we go, it is such a positive experience. They have changed my mind about going to the dentist. Dr. Lee Gherman and the rest of the Doctors, Jamie the dental higienist, Marilyn the dental assistant and the rest of the dental staff, and Diane the office manager, are so caring and professional and they make everyone, adults and children, feel at ease and right at home. Excellent customer service and excellent dental care all around! They are awesome!

Little Smile Big Smile is a wonderful place to bring your children for any of their dental needs. I have had my son in for regular exams, cavity treatment and orthodontic work. The entire staff is courteous, helpful, professional and above all, child friendly. Dr Miller and Dr. Gherman are both top notch Dentists with years of experience. Their professionalism is only exceeded by their positive attitudes which will comfort both parents and their children. My son had to be seen for some cavities. I am not joking when I say that after his first treatment, he told me he was looking forward to going back again. This is the kind of dentist office we all need. Awesome!
