With a keen sense of perception blended with a plethora of analytical skills, Dr. Joseph DiBenedetto chose a career in dentistry because of the overall fulfillment of working with his hands and helping people.As an Ocean Township native, Dr. DiBenedetto continues to serve his community by committing his time to the local planning board, the Italian-American club and local charities.
Dr. DiBenedetto started with 30 patients and now has over 5000 patients as he has designed and built two offices through that growth. By mastering the craft of dentistry, Dr. DiBenedetto has molded himself into a highly skilled professional, gaining the respect of his staff, community and his peers. The business has thrived into a successful operation simply by recruiting an intelligent and compassionate staff who contribute by overcoming daily hurdles.
The best part of Dr. DiBenedettos day is when he greets, treats and interacts with his existing as well as his new patients. Each patient is greeted by their name when entering the office, which exhibits a warm family friendly service. The office stands out because they have a staff who is genuinely concerned about the health of each patient, while providing the best possible care. When a new patient arrives, they should understand that this is a group of highly trained, compassionate professionals.
Although the office encounters challenges throughout the day, they will overcome wholehearted because of their belief in a total team effort. Team management is consistently enhanced in a harmonious effort with staff meetings and group continuing education.
As an advocate of technology, Dr. DiBenedetto strongly believes in the new equipment and how its providing improved care for the patients. The office has used a digital X-ray since 2003 and the CEREC machine (a personal favorite) since 2011. Dr. DiBenedetto foresees and embraces the advances in technology because he understands how they will play a pivotal role when driving the landscape of the dental profession.

Been going here for years. Great place. Mostly get cleanings and the occasional cavity filled. Had recent a recent implant that had problems, Dr Joe went to bat for me with the surgeon and all is well now. Heartily recommend.

Dr D is great and very thorough and the whole staff if friendly. Makes going to the dentist not a bad experience! Highly recommend.

I have had bad experiences within the dentistry community, But this office has renewed my belief. From the minute you walk in you are greeted by a very kind, Candace, and a very comfy up to date waiting room. With smiles coming from one of the operatories I can see Dental Assistant Dawn, who is very patient and knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen and release all the dental concerns properly to Dr. Joe who I had the pleasure of having him take care of my needs for years now, You'll never find a dentist like him he is a one-of-a-kind! This dental office is honest, professional, gentle and kind. "You all have a gift" Im so blessed to have found this dental practice don't walk, Run! to these wonderful professionals!

I've been using Dr. Joe from the beginning of his practice. Never had a bad moment or pain. He has the softest hands when working on me. Staff is very friendly and does a great job.

I've been going to Dr. D for years. Both he and his staff are wonderful. On one ocassaion I had a major dental issue come up on Christmas Eve, they got me in and resolved the issue so I could enjoy my holiday. I am very thankful to have them taking care of my dental needs.

I've been going to Dr. D for 4 years now and I can't say enough about him and his staff! I would NEVER trust anyone else with my mouth! I recently moved to Washington D.C. and attempted to find a new dentist. I went to one in DC who lied and said they were in network only to show up and get a quote of $600 for dental work 50% covered out of network. I immediately cancelled the follow up appt and confirmed a new dentist who was in-network and showed up only to have them tell me they couldnt use my other recent x-rays and asked me to pay $91 out of pocket up front. In addition, they claimed I needed all of this work done - so much so that when I went to the front desk for a quote it was over $700!!!! Tell me how in network the quote was more than the out of network quote??? Safe to say, I immediately called Dr. D after the appt and asked Candace if I could come in (a 4 hour drive mind you but so beyond worth it!). Candace graciously got me a appt a few days later and I am so glad that I went back to Dr. D! All in all the treatment plan he provided and implemented cost less than $150 in network! Dr. D and his team are the nicest, most accommodating, caring and trustworthy group you will ever meet. I made a follow up appt for my fiance to come with me in December for his dental work as well because he is the best! Please book your appt you won't be sorry! :)

This place is disgusting he doesn't know what he's doing as a doctor I suggest you look for a different place. After having a post and crown put in it came out twice in less than six months.

Went to Dr. Joe today for a broken tooth that was causing a lot of pain. Dr. Joe and his staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Got rid of the pain and set up treatment plan to fix everything right away. If you need a dentist in the area, I'd recommend Dr. Joe to anyone.
