Originally from Chesterfield, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit, Dr. Danae earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Albion College. Having known from a very early age that she wanted to be a dentist, Dr. Danae moved to Cleveland to attend Case Western Reserve University. It was here that she simultaneously earned both her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and a Masters of Science Degree in clinical research. She was the first student at the university to participate in the dual-degree program and focused her research on HIV-positive adults and improving their access to dental care.
While on a dental mission trip to Guatemala in 2009, Dr. Danae discovered she particularly enjoyed working with children and decided to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry. She was accepted to the residency program at Rainbow Babies and Childrens Hospital in Cleveland and spent two years working tirelessly to earn her pediatric specialty certificate. Upon finishing her residency, she dedicated herself to earning her board certification, an elite designation for specialists which signifies the highest level of commitment to continuing education and patient care.
After the birth of their daughter, Dr. Danae and her husband, Chris, decided to relocate to West Michigan to be closer to their family. They have fully embraced the lakeshore area as their new home and enjoy all the beauty and activities that it has to offer.
Dr. Danaes biggest passion lies in dental mission trips. She has participated in international service missions to Guatemala, Bolivia, and the Dominican Republic, each time using her dental training to better the lives of those less fortunate.
As a provider, Dr. Danae strives to treat each child with the compassion and care that she would treat her own family members, while also using the most up-to-date technologies, materials, and techniques. Each child requires an individualized approach and has unique needs, and it is her goal to provide an exceptional level of service for every child, every time.
Now available for you at Little Red Pediatric Dentistry, Solea is a dental laser that replaces the dental drill in the majority of procedures at our practice. In fact, nearly every patient skips anesthesia because they just dont need it.

A great team who does an amazing job with children. They really know how to make them feel at ease. The laser cavity removal was pretty impressive. My daughter loves the token reward system they use at her appointments.

I don't think I can put into words how appreciative I am of all the staff at Little Red Pediatric Dentistry. My little man is 4 months old and I asked the day he was born if he had a lip tie and I was told in the hospital that he is latching fine so he must not so I trusted them. After a month I gave up on nursing and have been fighting ever since to figure out answers to his issues. I finally got them today. Poor guy had a tongue and lip tie that both Dr. Danae and Anne agreed would be beneficial to laser as long as my husband and I were comfortable with it. They explain everything so well and answered all my questions in depth. Even the other office staff were so helpful with warming a bottle up for him so he could have some after the procedure to comfort him. All these ladies are amazing and I am so glad I trusted my mom intuition and kept pushing to get more answers.

Both my kids had cleanings and X-rays today! Staff is friendly and quick! My 3 year old sat very well and they were able to take X-ray of his teeth. And they even gave him an extra token for his birthday coming up on Wednesday. Both kids were happy to get their teeth clean there today! Thank you Little Red for being so amazing with small kids.

Staff was very nice and I loved the way the office is set up and very nice a high five on that. Doctor and nurse were so polite and explained everything very well. Thank you for all your service. See you soon. Also, it's in a convenient area for me easy to locate

My daughter has severe allergies and we had a hard time finding a dentist that could keep her safe. They have been amazing my six year old loves going to see them and they are very careful with her allergies.

Would have given 0 stars if I could. My grandson is in desperate need of serious dental work and due to an ongoing custody battle a letter was needed to enable the appointment. We have begged the office for months to send a letter, the surgery manager Jen something, was kind enough to be irritated by my requests and began hanging up on me. So as at the day of the surgery nothing was sent, so we could not legally take my grandson to get his dental work done. Due to this offices neglect, to send a simple letter, my grandson will have to suffer longer until a more caring practice is found. Cleary an office that is interested in revenue, other than helping patients.

I have 2 little guys that are seen here and I love it. Started 2 years ago and every time I come here I have a great experience, my boys have a great experience. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my little guys.

I brought my 2.5 year old in for her first dental appointment today and we had a great experience! Dr. Danae and her hygienist were very nice and made us both feel very comfortable. My daughter had a wonderful first time dentist appointment and was happy the entire time. Such a cute and fun office for toddlers/young children too. Thank you!!!

This place is wonderful. We came from a dentist that was very harsh and clearly not a pediatric dentist. Coming here was a breath of fresh air. They are so kind and have awesome prizes. A great choice if you are looking for a dentist for your kiddos!

Dr.Danae and staff are absolutely amazing! The assistants are always friendly, patient, thorough, and wonderful! Since my kids have been going to Little Red, they have anticipated going to the Dentist! So thankful to them making the dentist office a positive experience every time!
