Welcome to Little People's Dental! Our office is a place where children can feel at home while they begin their journey to a lifetime of good oral health. Children require unique and special dental care, as well as emotional care, and our dentist and team have both the experience and compassion to give your child the care they deserve. We work to build trust with the children and caregivers that come into our office as a way to help children establish a positive relationship with visiting the dentist.
In addition to providing excellent pediatric dentistry in South Jordan, Utah, Dr. Thayne Gardner and our team have created a fun, engaging, and lively environment where children can feel comfortable and relaxed. Our Peter Pan-themed office creates a magical atmosphere, and children can explore Neverland while waiting to visit with our dentist. They will not find a dental experience like this anywhere else!

Dr. Thayne Gardner grew up in an exciting family. He was born in Maryland but spent most of his schooling years in Brazil and England with his eight siblings. After leaving England, Dr. Gardner served a two-year mission in Brazil for his church. Afterwards, he completed his bachelors degree at Brigham Young University (BYU), where he met his lovely wife, Natalie, a Utah native. Since then, they have had four beautiful children.
After graduating from BYU, Dr. Gardner moved to Buffalo, NY, to attend dental school. During his pediatric training in dental school, Dr. Gardner found that he was the happiest when laughing and playing with children. He then went on to complete an additional 2 years of Pediatric Dentistry Specialty training at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine at the Womens and Childrens Hospital of Buffalo.
Dr. Gardner loves being back in Utah and spending time with family and friends. He is so excited to be a part of Little People's Dental. He is committed to making the best experience for both child and parent throughout the dental visit.
Dr. Gardneris a board-certified pediatric dentist. He is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association, and the Idaho State Dental Association.
Jillattended the University of Utah. Jill keeps the office running, armed with great organizational skills and a happy face. She enjoys working at Little People's Dental because of the wonderful families and the fantastic staff with whom she gets to work. She also loves that our dentist and staff can help improve the lives of children and their families. Jill joined our practice after over two decades of being a dance teacher, director, and choreographer. While the dental world is a lot different from dance and theatre, Jill loves being at Little People's Dental! She has a wonderful husband, a child who is a high school senior, and two married children they are her favorite people! In her free time, she enjoys traveling, arts, music, and baking.
April has been with Little People's Dental for the last ten years, and she loves working with such fun people! She attended BYU (Go Cougars!) and married her high school sweetheart, with whom she has 5 children and 2 grandchildren. She loves hiking, especially when she can stand of top of a peak.
Olivia is new to our dental team. She graduated from Bingham High School, and she is currently attending SLCC for her generals. As an office assistant, Olivia tries to help out as much as she can. Whether she is answering phones or helping patients with insurance breakdowns, she always lends a helping hand and contributes to our positive environment. Olivia has six people in her family: her, her parents, two older brothers, and a little sister. She loves music, poetry, fast cars, and avocados.
Kristin has been with the practice since 2015, and she is certified in both CPR and X-rays. For Kristin, the best part of being with Little People's Dental is the awesome patients, but she also loves her co-workers and working in the dental field. Kristin has a way with helping kids feel comfortable during their visit, and with helping them have a fun time. Outside of work, Kristin likes to spend time with her husband and three children. She also enjoys camping, reading, going to the gym, fitness, and swimming.
Marlayia has been with Little People's Dental since 2016. She was accepted into the JATC Dental Assisting program during her senior year at Bingham High School (Go Miners!), and she has been in the dental field ever since. She is now working to become a dental hygienist. Marlayia loves the new dental family she has gained since being at Little People's Dental. She brings a smile with her every day, and she loves hanging out with the kids and helping them love going to the dentist as much as she does. Marlyayia is married to her amazing high school sweetheart, and they have two cute and crazy pups, Bella and Sophie. Her hobbies include doing makeup and shopping. Some might say those arent hobbies, but when you do them as much as she does, they become one!

Dr. Gardner and his staff are so friendly and so good around kids! My newborn baby would not nurse because he had a lip and tongue tie. I went to Dr. Gardner and he fixed both of them so easy and quick. He gave me great specific instructions for what to do at home and now my baby is perfectly healed and nurses amazing now. I'm so grateful and will never go to another pediatric dentist.

Dr. Gardner helped my baby girl with a tongue tie and lip tie procedure and the results made it possible for me to nurse her. I am so grateful and felt like the whole experience went really well. Dr. Gardner was patient, compassionate and took time to answer all of my questions. He also saw my older kids and really understood how to alleviate their anxiety and really helped them trust him. Tracy is incredibly compassionate, caring, and went above and beyond to care for my kids. I was extremely grateful to Brittany as well, she really did a fabulous job with so much compassion.

I can't recommend this place enough! My 3 year old has had major anxiety over going to the dentist. We had an appointment for a filling, and he wouldn't get in the chair to let them do it. Dr. Gardner came up with a creative solution, and kept my kiddo at ease throughout the quick procedure. Lots of patience and understanding of kids at this office!

GREAT DENTIST - BETTER CHARACTER - -It's hard to find an honorable business with principle nowadays, but look no further. Our son has autism and doesn't do well with dentists. Dr. Gardner was great with his special needs and he and his staff (especially April) worked hard to arrange work for him under sedation at Primary Children's. They made all the arrangements and made it simple. After the procedure, insurance refused to pay the hospital bill even though they had indicated they would, and we were left in a very difficult position. Dr. Gardner and Little People's could have easily started ignoring my emails and looked the other way and let the hospital come after me. And I think that's what most offices would have done. To the contrary, April was incredibly responsive and advocated for me and on my behalf with the hospital, and ultimately Dr. Gardner worked it out with the hospital at no insignificant cost to Little People's. While I believed it was the right thing to do, it was enough in a gray area that I acknowledge most other businesses would not have supported the patient to this extent (ultimately to a financial loss). We are grateful for the staff and Dr. Gardner for doing what many other businesses would have not done. Count on them do always do good work, do good by their patients, and always do the right thing, even when not convenient or profitable.

We went here and Dr. Garner had to do some pretty intensive work on my daughters teeth. She had to go into the hospital to have the work done with a couple extractions some crowns and fillings. She is three years old. It was a completely smooth experience. Recovery went incredibly incredibly well. I was very apprehensive because one of our friends sons with a similar age did it and it was extremely traumatic with silver crowns and a two week recovery. Our friends told us that white crowns werent an option According to their dentist for children but Dr. Garner did all white crowns! Her teeth look amazing. We are very happy. Would definitely recommend.

We love little people's dental, we have been coming for years. As my little five year old is watching a movie on the ceiling and laughing while they clean her teeth. Thanks for always taking care of their cute smiles :)

I'm a dentist and even I take my own kids to Dr. Gardner because I know he does awesome work. His staff is great and I know everything will be taken care of smoothly at his office. I would (and do) recommend Little People's Dental to everyone.

Love this dental office fir my kids! Everyone there is so patient with my kids and it is a fun atmosphere and the dental care has been awesome. The office staff has been very informative about insurance things and I love the text reminders for visits. Overall great dental office! I highly recommend!

Love this place. Completely kid friendly, accommodating to kiddo with lots of anxiety around X-rays. They worked with him despite it taking a long time.

Little People's dental has been a great place for our son. We have a blended family and they really stepped up to help us with our unique situation. They made our son the important topic and not about which parent brings him in for check ups. Both families feel included with his health.

Little People's Dental is hands down the best dental office for littles. The whole place is designed with children in mind. Everyone is kind, understanding and have gone above and beyond for our kiddos. Dr. Gardner is so good at what he does, kids actually live to go to the dentist. Little People's Dental is truly the best place!

After going to a couple of places, I was recommended to Little People's Dental due to procedure that my child needed to be done. Dr. Gardner did a fantastic job to where my child didn't even notice or had any pain afterwards. His staff is also wonderful, very welcoming, helpful and super kind. Definitely the place for my Childs dental care...

Great place! Worth the extra drive (there are closer dentists to our house but we choose to go to Little People's Dental). Friendly staff, knowledgeable front desk, Dr. Gardner is honest and available for emergencies when you need the help! Kid friendly office (my kids love the slide). My kids actually enjoy going to the dentist because this is a great environment!

They have been very consistent with my kids appointments . They text and remind a day before .My kids migrated here with lots of concerns in regards to their teeth They have an amazing dentist that just so nice and very helpful in trying to do the best for my 3 girls together with those dental assistant . I had moved to different city but still come back to them for my girls dentist appointment. I would suggest them to anyone . They always look forward for their goodies after .This is my youngest who had to go through surgery to remove 6 tooth at once she is having great smiles now and she have no problem at all. We're looking forward to their next appointment.

This place is seriously the best!!! I had the worst experience before coming here with my kids. They were able to get me in basically day of for my son's surgery for his teeth and were so kind to us there customer service is exceptional and seriously they are the friendliest place ever. I will never take my kids anywhere else.

Dr. Gardener is great! He helped fix my 10 day old baby's lip tie so he could breastfeed better. He handled my new mom anxiety with professionalism and kindness. The staff is so sweet and the decor in the office is adorable. I would 100% recommend!
