I have always felt children are gifts to be valued and appreciated for their special nature and innocence. I have always loved connecting with each child to make their dental experiences and health the best they can possibly be. I view pediatric dentistry as an opportunity to truly care for children, taking into account all of their medical, dental, development, and emotional needs.I was fortunate to attend the University of Washington in Seattle for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery (GO DAWGS!). After graduating in 1989, I practiced general dentistry for 14 years. In 2003 I returned to school at Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., to pursue further education in my true interest, the care of children.I am intrigued with new research and work being done in the prevention and treatment of dental disease especially with the use of more natural therapies. I feel the role of a dentist should extend well beyond the current clinical model and should incorporate the most current concepts in prevention, restoration, and maintenance. I love refining our teams practice of pediatric dentistry as we continue learning about pediatric dentistry, prevention of disease, and child development.I have never believed that dental treatment is inherently painful or that it is an uncomfortable ordeal that must be endured. My team and I embrace the concept of treating children as individuals, with the same care and respect we would give our own children. It is remarkable to me that members of our team come from such different backgrounds, and yet we all work together so well for the common goal of caring for our patients. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work with such a great team.
I am passionate about treating my pediatric dental patients and gain satisfaction in developing their trust and making them feel comfortable. I strongly believe that getting children to feel comfortable at the dentists office at an early age can lead to a lifetime of pleasant and positive dental experiences.I strive to make every childs dental visit an enjoyable experience by bringing a warm, fun, and personal approach to dental care. I am truly honored to be a part of this dental team where every team member is passionate about education and prevention in oral health.I attended dental school at New York University College of Dentistry. While there, I was the President of the Pediatric Club and actively involved in community service including Dental Health Fair, Special Olympics, Dental Van, and Give Kids a Smile Day. I also received the Certificate of Merit Pre-doctoral Student Award from the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for excellence in pediatric dentistry.As a volunteer for NYUs dental campaign to Grenada, I provided dental care and education to underprivileged children. My experiences there reinforced my passion for working with children and adolescents. I entered my pediatric dentistry residency at Yale New Haven Hospital where I furthered my training in all aspects of pediatric dental care.
Dr. Claire Escario is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has almost 20 years of experience in the dental field. After practicing several years as a General Dentist, Dr. Claire Escario decided to follow her passion of working with children and went on to earn her specialization in Pediatric Dentistry from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
When she is not in the office, you can find Dr. Claire Escario running or spending time with her husband and 3 children. She learned how to skateboard during the pandemic and loves thrilling adventures like canyoneering and skydiving! Tell her your superpower and your favorite adventures when you meet her!

I graduated with honors as a dental assistant at Concorde Career College in Memphis, Tennessee in 2008. From 2008 to 2010, I had the privilege of working with military servicemen and their families at a joint command at Patch Dental Clinic in Stuttgart, Germany. It was a wonderful experience! In 2010, I relocated to Leesburg and joined the Little Pearls team. I love to help little ones overcome their fears and help them see that our office really can be a fun and safe place. I try to be open and sympathetic to their needs and really enjoy working with children with special needs. Its so rewarding to see the children grow over the years and get to know them as an individual.I am a Washingtonian at heart but have made Northern Virginia my home. I enjoy spending time with family, especially with my two beautiful girls and our cat. I have rediscovered hiking and exploring all the beautiful places Virginia has to offer. I also love to travel and hope to see more of the world in the near future.

We went in for a second opinion. Dr. Mike was patient to listen to our concerns, he was friendly and clear in his explanations on his thoughts. He provided solutions to our concerns but never over pressured us into it. He seems to be conservative in his decision, which is what our family looks for. I especially liked that he was open to other "natural" options. (Some doctors can be limited to their books and don't always think outside the box.)

the entire team is wonderful. my daughter actually enjoys going to the dentist. the practice seems to be stepping away from supporting several dental carriers so be prepared for out of network and out of pocket expenses.

We brought all three of our children together today to the office for routine check-up/cleanings. Two of our children had never been to a dentist before, and our other is pretty nervous about any medical care. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by those working the front desk. We sat for just a minute or two before we were brought back to a room. Our youngest two were in an infant/toddler room that felt like a nursery. Very comfortable for littles! My oldest was in a more traditional dentist chair. The office is full of child friendly pictures, shows, and even little toys/prize at the end of their visit. As mentioned, one of children is really nervous about any sort of medical care, and the staff did great with him. They were gentle, encouraging, and respectful. We also loved this office approach to dental care. Dr. Mike seem to focus on overall health and wellness to support healthy teeth/mouth. Things like healthy diet were brought up. We really loved our experience today. Overall I would describe them as friendly, gentle, and respectful! If you have small children, I highly recommend!!!

My children have been patients of Dr.Mike for the last decade. Dr.Gazori and his team are attentive, caring, and really prioritize the health and well being of their patients above anything else. We have referred Little Pearls to several friends and they have had similar wonderful experiences. I tried several dental practices before Little Pearls and realized that unfortunately many dentists will push root canals and unnecessary procedures and I needed a dentist I could trust. Dr.Mike and his team are just those people! Once I found them I haven't gone anywhere else!

My two kids have been patients with Dr. Gazori since they were three. We did a lot of procedures with that office. However, during a switch of dental insurance plans with my husband's work, I went to the office and my kids had their cleaning service there. We received a bill by email, and when I asked they said they are not in the network. We actually forgot to pay. However, after being loyal patients with them for 12 years, instead of reminding us to pay like any other office, they sent our bills to collection without any further notice. That affected our credits and made me so disappointed at them. We didn't refuse to pay, but we just forgot.

I love this practice, I started taking my 16 year old since they were 2-3. And recently took two year old for a check up. Dr. Mike is amazing and is the best at what he does. He's made us feel at easy. My daughter was a preemie, he was able to tell she had ties and referred to the best practice to release them.

We've been seeing Dr G for over a decade with our two autistic sons, and he's the best! He and his excellent staff are terrific with special needs kids, and my boys have no fear or anxiety about dental visits. Quite the contrary, they enjoy seeing their " friends" at the office! Highly recommended!

Little Pearls Dentistry is THE BEST pediatric dental practice! We have been going there for several years now and are always so impressed by the kindness, joy, and professionalism of the staff. Dr. Mike is very bright and always extremely thoughtful. He listens to our concerns and provides exceptional dental care to our daughter. Dr. Mike has given our children exceptional dental care over the years. We travel an hour to see him. My daughter has special needs and he has a wonderful bedside manner. She needed some extensive restorative work in the past - he brought in the finest traveling pediatric anesthesiologist we could have asked for, and the dental work went very smoothly. I like that he leans wholistic for preventative care and is supportive of us using a myofunctional appliance provided by another dental practitioner for helping to widen my daughter's palate instead of braces.
